"You'll never leave me again, will you?" Ariae asked softly, keeping a tight grip around Jaquel. "I promise I'll be a better wife than I was before if you don't..."

"What a silly thing to say, of course I won't." Jaquel said, tightening his grip around Ariae as well. "So long as you're with me, that's all I need." he said softly.

Ariae couldn't help but feel relieved to hear Jaquel's words. "You promise?"

Ariae enjoyed the kiss - feeling her heart be put at ease if only for the moment. Once their lips parted, she gazed into his eyes for many dreamy moments before half-joking, "I'll hold you to it."

((I have the random urge for huggles. I do not know why. *runs around randomly huggling Anime and all chars in sight* whee ))

"I'll have a child to raise anyway. What kind of man would I be to run out on my wife and kid?" Jaquel said with a warm and reassuring smile.

Ariae returned his smile, letting the silence come as they held their embrace.

As Milly passed right by them, she couldn't help but keep a 'gag me with a spoon' sort of expression. When she was younger, she always wanted her father to have one pure love. Unfortunately, he just had to pick one that was all mushy mushy missy kissy when she wasn't having violent mood swings. Milly didn't outwardly protest, since she wasn't opposed to their relationship in the least. Milly just wished they'd get a room.

((Lol. Can you imagine my avi running around randomly hugging people? Great way to cause mental trauma right there. XD))

"I wouldn't make that face if I were you. You should be happy I'm not such a selfish demon anymore." Jaquel said with a chuckle after he caught a glimpse of Milly and her gagging.

"I know, I know, it could be MUCH worse. For example, hearing some lady of the evening moaning throughout every hour of the night." Milly muttered to herself before replying in a more audible tone. "I know, daddy. I'm just messing around." She then stuck her tongue out playfully at him and skipped off.

((Sorry Milly. Looks like you'll have to suffer through one more night of female moaning. XD ))

"I'm glad to know you've gotten used to having her around." Jaquel said with a smile after Milly had skipped off somewhere.

Ariae had learned to tolerate Milly's presence - even if she could never love her as her own daughter. She snuggled her head up against Jaquel's chest - saying nothing for the moment being.

Jaquel smiled. "I think I'll go get our room ready for later." he said placing a kiss on Ariae's head, letting her finish snuggling and such before he walked off to set the mood.

Ariae waved slightly as Jaquel walked off. Afterwards, she went off to get herself gussied up - not wanting the occassion to be ruined with her looking plain as usual.

Jaquel had a slight sense of shame as he went about setting up candles and such. He would never have such knowledge of setting the mood for such an occasion had he not had that stint as a high-class sexual predator demon. Once the rose petals had been scattered (good thing the mansion had a fancy garden) and the candles had been lit, he removed his shirt and let down his hair from the half ponytail he'd become accustomed to from his days of war.
