I remember my brother and I both buying the album before anyone else around us even knew who the hell they were. They weren't even played on the radio yet... or at least I hadn't heard them on the radio yet at that point. We just saw a commercial on TV advertising the album that played a small clip of "One Step Closer" and decided to buy it just based on that alone.

I think it was only like $12 or $13 because they weren't widely known yet. The price went up to $20 a few months later. I felt like I got a steal emotion_awesome

This album is so hard for me to sit through. Too many slower paced songs right next to each other. Individually, I suppose the songs aren't all that bad, but listening to them one right after the other makes me want to toss my earphones in the trash.
