The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"Oh really?" Shadow replied with interest. "Anyway, I got in your car last time, and this time, it's your turn to ride my bike. If that's too much of a problem, then I guess we simply won't meet. . . unless you can think of something I'll agree to."

"Maybe we could head to somewhere we've already been first. We could meet up there. Either the restaurant or that amusement park is fine with me" 'David' replied.

"Well, I kind of wanted to take you to a place that a lot of people don't know about, but it's kind of a special members type of thing. So even if I told you where it is, you probably couldn't get in.

"I see" 'David' said. "Well, it doesn't sound like a place that I would want to be either. Sounds a bit shady. I don't think they'd take too kindly to military personnel there".

"Fine fine." Shadow grumbled. "Then where do you suggest we go?"

"Well we could always head to the bar where we first met. I don't think the Absolute Leader's brother will be causing a scene. I heard he got placed under house arrest, tried to escape, and so got put on 24 hour watch" 'David' chuckled.

"Alright then. Let's meet there. Hopefully I won't get drugged this time." Shadow laughed.

"Alright. So what time should I meet you there?" 'David' asked. He needed time to prepare, which is why he stated that he was still on duty for another couple hours.

"How about 7? How does that sound?" She asked.

"Sure. I'll be over once I finish up here. I'll see you then" 'David' replied.

"Alright then." Shadow replied. "Goodbye." She said and hung up with him. She then called the bar. "... Hello... yes. This is Shadow. ... yeah... yeah... I'd like to issue a code red from now until about 7:30. ... yep... yeah... no no no... of course! Good. Bye." She said then hung up the phone. This was going to be a good night.

Jian arrived at the facility and was escorted to the safest room above everything.

"Sir." One of the scientists began to explain. "Here is just the first model completed of the new main force combat units called the tiger-lance. So far, it is the only one we have completed for testing. The plain one here is the pure prototype strait from the design. The other two are similar but modified by our staff." He said, referring to a bunch of machines that looked similar to robotic cats. "They can operate one or two people per machine and they have excellent agility and incredible impact force. These units were obviously made for frontal assault."

"I see." Jian replied. "Let's get started."

Zil left the room, making sure the only exit available (the front door) was shut tight and locked before he head back to his room to catch up on reports and such. It was backbreaking, really... For a guy that hates reading.

As soon as he closed and locked the door, the twins looked back at each other. "YAY!!" They yelled, jumping up and giving each other a hug will jumping up and down giddily. They finally let each other go and looked at each other.
"What now?" Valkyrie asked.
"Hmm..." Vincent muttered. "Let's see..."
"Ok." Valkyrie replied, and the two began looking around at everything.
"Do you have your set?" Vincent asked, picking up the radio.
"Of course." Valkyrie replied. "I don't go anywhere without it."
"Same here." Vincent said, pulling out a thin case of tools from his pocket. Valkyrie did likewise and started dissecting the television.
"Wow. The wires and such in this are really old." Valkyrie muttered.
"Yeah. They should work better then normal wires, but only if the material is in decent condition. Sweet. They use old transistors instead of those stupid new ones. That should make this a lot easier."

Zil began with a stretch after going through half of the papers that needed to be read. Heck, he didn't even read them in full. He just scanned and skimmed, figuring this and that out. It was time to check on the twins once again. He came into the communications department office and looked at several of the monitors -- The CCTV cameras in the twins' room to be exact. There were five four were hidden from view and the visible one was in a corner, high on the ceiling. Only two cameras were in use. The other three were for back up purposes and there wasn't one in the bathroom. He then began to speak into the mic, transmitted by speakers mounted near the ceiling and around the room. "Hi kids! Whachu doing?" Some of the communications department members began stifling their laughter in the background. They knew this was going to be a fiasco, similar to all the other 'gigs' Zil liked putting on.
