The hokage sighed softly, "I know the idea of war isnt' appealing..but there isnt' getting out of it. We will be attacked...so we need to stand with our allies or else we're going to be picked off one by one." She pulled out a few documents, "I have a few missions for you all to head out tomorow...and I believe a change in rank is in order for some of you."

"I see may I ask details about this mission?" Kikou asked wile also wondering if he was going to get a rank up

Giving a sigh Kohane could tell there was no way around the thoughts of war. "Alright" she muttered it was easy to see the displeasure on her face at her words. Looking at the documents what they could be flowed thru her mind and who was she talking about for changing in ranks.

Tayu sighed softly. "Before we hear about the mission, may I be so bold as to ask a question? This may seem trivial, but why is Kin not here with the rest of her team?"

Zane sighed and waited for what was coming next, wondering who would be ranked up and what kind of mission he was going on tomorrow.

"She had to deal with another matter, but she will be informed of the events as soon as she is finished." The kage said. She pushed forward a sheet of paper, "Here is a list of those who will be ranked up to Jonin, due to your roles in the fall of the shadow village and the spirit village." She then held up another of paper, "Your teams for these missions will be as followed. Tayu will be temporarily leaving team Kin to join with Zane's team, and Kiri will be running a undercover mission. Team Kin, you will head to the Hidden stone village to help escort the kage and his guard here."

Tayu wasn't too pleased about having to leave her team, even temporarily, but at least Zane's team were her friends. She nodded, hiding her disappointment.

Hearing that there team would be losing Tayu for the mission slightly saddened her but she did not show it. "Roger" Kohane said simply reaching and grabbing the paperwork and reading over it. She was to escort a Kage. What sort of need would you have to need to escort someone that strong with escorts from another village. Shaking her head she simply cleared her mind of the questions that filled it so she could focus more on the mission at hand.

The Hokage looked towards Zane, "We need more information on these cursed seals that was developed in that Cursed village. Years ago, Orochimaru had developed something closely similar...you will take your team and find whats left of any of his hideouts. Hopefully, there will be some research still left, and we can find a link between to the two."
And possibly find a weakness.. Nowe thought, though he was mostly interested if he'd be able to advance his. Anything to get a jump on Ayame and Seito. "Sounds fun." Nowe said, a smile on his face. It was good to be home.

"Wait a minute." Tayu frowned slightly. "Pardon my rudeness, Madame Hokage-sama, but wouldn't it work better to put Kin with Zane's team rather than me. After all, until recently, she was a part of the Shadow village, and she has experience with the cursed seals as well."

"Well I can only guess, but I think it may have to do with the fact that every time Kin's seal goes active it slowly kills her, should the mission end up setting off a curse mark, it's better to only have one member, Nowe, incapacitated rather than two. Am I right ma'am?" Zane asked after his explanation.

"That is one reason yes, another is that I'd prefer a more experienced Jonin be there to greet and lead the kage, rather then someone newly promoted." She began to pull out other papers, those these had nothing to do with the group. "Now if everything is settled, you have your missions for tomorrow."

Giving a slight glare Kohane shook her head tightening her grip on the paper as she turned and made her way towards the door. Pushing it open hard she was easily able to toss kyo away from it as he had been eavesdropping on the whole conversation. Looking at the boy she simply gave a hard glare before setting out towards her home. She needed to prepare for a war that needn't be raged and would need supplies to help those who needed it. "She has become a fool in her old age blinded by her raising" Kohane muttered deep to herself.
Being thrown from the door Kyo looked at Kohane wide eyed and in shock but only received a glare before she walked away. "That wasn't necessary" he muttered rubbing his butt and shoulder which had been hurt when he was thrown away from the door.

Zane headed out and noticed Kyo. "Sweet, I found you. Well you should probably get ready because tomorrow we're heading out on a mission." Zane said simply and headed off to his apartment.
