With his hands on either side of her face she could only look up at him and she smiled slightly at his easy declaration of his feelings toward her. A small blush spread across her cheeks that blared a crimson color after his lips brushed hers gently. Jae went as rigid as a pole, her breath stopping as she lost control over her normal body functions. Her mind drew a blank and the only thing she could seem to really concentrate on was the soft sensation of his lips on hers. As he pulled away from her and tried to pacify her worries with valid thoughts, Jae was still trying to get a hold of herself. As his hands moved to her shoulders she meekly looked away, her heart pounding in her ears. The butterflies in her stomach threatened to send her to into the heavens. T-trouble? She was half listening and was just then trying to piece together what it was he was telling her. Coherent thought was just returning. "Y-yeah." She said breathlessly, her face still burning. Jae closed her eyes tightly, very embarrassed. Leaning her forehead into his chest she hid her face. "Sorry. I just... She was so angry. I thought I would be able to handle it easily, I wasn't prepared to handle that much blatant intensity." Squeezing his hands she pulled back to look up at him, flashing him a smile. "Better not regret it later on." She said, having gained control over herself enough to look at him. "So what do you want to practice first?" Jae said, trying to steer this conversation back to what they were here for. She was still thinking about that kiss, despite her better judgement. Our first kiss and I stood there like a doe in the head lights! Huge embarrassment.

Samuru grinned, his head still cocked to the left "I didn't expect you to handle May. She's...not for the faint of heart or the unprepared. And while you are tough, May requires a different type of thick skin to deal with." he replied, giving her hands a return squeeze before she pulled away. He'd never regret anything that had to do with Jae, that he was sure of. Thinking about what to practice, Samuru knew he needed to finish his knife stages and get started on the middle stages of his tonfa techniques but "I'd like to learn Hakyoku-ken no Kata." he replied, thinking of the broad and heavy sword style. While he had plenty of things already learned, they were all close range and stealth weapons, requiring him to get the drop on his opponent. All very good but he needed something blatant too "And....I'm very close to jounin so maybe a mission? Inside the village....of course." Samuru wasn't going to push Noctis again....at least, not so soon after the first time.

Stretching her arms above her head she tried to recall the instructions for that. Scrolls. They needed a scroll. She had never studied that style so she was of no use here. I have no idea what to teach? How does one teach?"Alrighty. Let me get a scroll." And he requested a mission. That was easy! "And a mission." She made a few quick hand signals and summoned a clone. "Mission board girl. Get something interesting please." She said, waving as her clone scampered off after nodding once. Jae turned on her heel and headed for the bookshelf. It was dusty and in poor condition. Pulling out a scroll that they would need she headed back to Samuru, offering it to him. "Sorry. I don't know this one. If you need me for something else, like sparring, that's about all I'm good for." She muttered. Rakuin's words echoed in her mind. I really am useless... It was a nasty feeling but she wasnt going to give up. She would find her usefulness in some way.

Samuru watched the clone disappear, realizing she was going to get a mission before he looked back at Jae. Taking the scroll from her, he started to browse through it, glancing at her as she said she was only good for sparring "...not true." he replied simply, seeing that there was very little for him to do with the first two stages. He'd have them learned in the time it took the clone to get back with a mission. But first..."Sparring is a way of learning and I can't spar by myself. I can learn how to defend myself from your techniques which is teaching me." he replied, setting the scroll down and taking off his shoes before walking over to the weapons supply. He needed to find a heavy weapon...but none of them were really what he wanted I'll need to get a different weapon eventually. he thought, taking one of the longer false swords from the wall. It was easily twice as long as his arm and heavy enough that he struggled with it a bit before lifting it so that it rested on his shoulder. Taking a deep breath, he worked at mastering the weight and shape of the sword first, lifting it, gently bringing it forward and around in a circle. Once comfortable with it, he brought it up with both hands, slid one foot back and slammed the blade down. It slammed into the ground and the shocks reverberated up his arms, making him wince Ju Suto [ Heavy Smash ]. Leaving it at the ground, Samuru twisted, pulling the blade along the ground before bringing it up sharply in a circular swing. It took all his strength to keep the blade from dragging him around in a circle and spinning him but he controlled it, restraining himself. Eventually, he knew, he'd have the strength to fully control the blade but right now he let it rest, breathing a little harder Soin [ Sweep ].. Taking the blade back up, Samuru cast Jae a grin, knowing how silly he was going to look performing this next technique, then held the blade at his stomach. It was an awkward hold but he felt stronger, knowing his arms would become strong the more frequently he practiced and, again bracing himself with one foot, thrust the blade forward. It whistled slightly through the air but Samuru over estimated the weight and he took a second step forward to keep from falling Sasu [ Stab ]"Teaching....means you get to watch me....make an absolute dip s**t of myself too." Samuru said between carefully controlled breaths. He wasn't panting or desperately out of breath but it did take some exertion to perform these. Not used to the sword, he leaned back, his eyes closed as he worked his breathing. This next one... Oh boy. Samuru glanced at Jae and offered a polite caution "Brace yourself." he raised his blade over his head and threw chakra into it, wrapping his chakra around it like a blanket. This was going to drain him something fierce, he realized, but as he brought the blade down, a thrill ran through him. Once the blade connected, the chakra exploded outward, denting the floor substantially and rippling outward like a wave all around him. He hadn't put enough chakra in it to extend up to the full yard but it did fill the room "..." he blinked in the middle of it, glanced at the floor which wasn't as badly dented as it had felt Houyou no Yochi [ Earth's Embrace ]. Carefully setting the blade to back in its spot, he walked back over to Jae "I'm good for the day." he said, smiling.

He's trying to comfort me... She thought idly, looking to the side as he explained his reasoning as he went. She felt very cared for in that moment so she smiled, laughing to herself lightly. It was a nice change of pace from having to deal with Rakuin and Maylee. Their blatant hatred of her had started to make her feel as if she were a horrible person. Despite her strong personality eventually it wore her out. Looking to Samuru to watch him practice she awed and 'ooo'd' as he went about his training. He was going to wield a heavy sword? That was interesting. Brute force. I guess he's strong enough to carry something like that around now... He was catching up to her. Her competitive nature immediately became on guard. She wanted to protect him not be protected by him. When she had the time she was going to have to continue her training. "Oh? Don't you do that without training?" She taunted, sticking her tongue out as she played with him. It had been awhile where their banter was not serious. It was a nice switch back. As he warned her to brace herself, Jae looked around her. With what? She widened her stance a bit and watched as he swung the heavy weapon down into the ground. It was a shock wave effect. She jumped up a bit, ending up a few paces back form where she had been previously standing. s he announced he was finished she nodded and approached him, her hands behind her back. "First mission isnt that great but its a start. Follow me young sir." Jae said in a sing song voice as she led the way away from the Academy. Slowly she was starting to regain her spirit now that she was out from under the tense atmosphere.

Well....maybe it was kind of true but she didn't have to be so blatant about it "All right." he said, perfectly willing to do anything that would help him get ahead. And while she might have worried it was to protect her....Samuru had other plans for getting to the rank of what he needed.

The clone that had been training finished up and stood was gonna disperse. He suddenly began to cough, it became more and more intense. No doubt people outside would heat looking at his palm after cough he saw trace amount of blood. It was funny, he felt fine when he trained but then when he wasn't doing anything is when he felt the worst. The clone poofed out of existence. Any blood that would have been left behind poofed along with the clone.

Coming into the training grounds, he moved to a more suitable area, he yawned a bit and then would begin to read his scroll. He made a few hand signs, and then his chakra flared a bit, his body sank into the ground and he began to quite literally swim through the ground. Coming up from the ground, he would think of another Jutsu he needed to train. He did have a few he was thinking of as he looked at the other scroll. [Earth Military Movement]
As he would take a moment to breath, allowing his chakra to rest, he would begin to channel it. Forming a few hand signs he would look over towards a nearby crate. His hand signs stopped, and suddenly the crate was forced into the air. Soon enough it was also hurled across the room and then hitting the other side of the walls it was smashed. He nodded to himself, that'd be quite well for a jutsu, and then moved on. [Wind Levitation]
Continuing with his Wind Training, he looked through the scroll, finding a jutsu he found to be decent for how he intended to go about most things. He would take a breath, and then form multiple hand seals. Soon after the seals formed, the wind around his body began swirling around him. It created a kind of wind armor around his body. After a moment, he let the wind disperse, then went back to reading the other scroll. [Armor of Wind]
Reading through the scroll once more, a fairly advanced-ish jutsu he would go to as he nodded. He began to make a few hand signs and then his chakra began flowing. When finishing the hand signs, below him, the earth began to rise in a wave like motion. It formed a five meter high wave. Riding the wave, he would allow it to continue on as he stood still and then allowed it to simply crash and stop itself. He smiled and nodded, he'd take a bit of a break for now, maybe walk around a bit! [Earth Flow Wave]
『 Masaru had playfully raced Maylee to the academy and it seems to be that he had won, but not by far as Maylee appeared shortly after. Walking inside, he would glance about for an empty area but see none. With a small pout he would walk to the back of the academy and out the back into the open field behind it so he could have more room. As he walked towards the lake at the center of the field he would slowly do a chain of seals as he kneaded his Katon chakra inside his chest before taking in a deep breath. Exhaling sharply, the chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire and expelled from the mouth as a a continuous flame-thrower like stream of roaring crimson flames before they converged together at the max range to form a massive orb that charred the ground beneath it from it's immense power. "Well.. I guess if I cared, then I would be considered a full fledged Uchiha as that would have been my 'coming of age' rite. However.. It is a surprise that my technique was the same color as my chakra.." With a smile, he would stop at the edge of the lake and think back on the several scrolls he read of elemental jutsu, thinking of which he wanted to learn next. Maylee ran behind Masaru as they ran for the academy. Training. That was all on her mind. As Masaru went about looking for a room, Maylee followed behind him. Once outside as watched as he performed a Flame Proficiency jutsu. She watched his chakra spike and then release the jutsu into a continuous flame thrower. She was still while he spoke to her. His power was no match to the one named Kein that she once met. The Uchiha that had taught her all of her katon jutsus. "I hear that only a few can do that. Charge the color of the jutsu to their chakra color." She told him. "I have yet to fight another. I loved to spar." Maylee told him. Though she knew mainly fire techniques and Knife battle techniques. Maylee gave him a seductive smile before taking her fighting stance. "Care to go first?"

Masaru didn't care much for how things looked as long as they got done. He lost that soft side of him a long time ago, however faint traces of it still remained. "I guess I inherited it from my mother.." He would nod to her comment on loving a spar. "I hope you don't mind me learning and trying to perfect jutsu while doing so.." Taking this time to flip back, surging chakra to his feet before he landed gracefully on the water's surface, he would take several hops back as he blurred through a set of seals, kneading more of his Katon chakra within his chest. This technique he had seen his father do many times, for it was often one of many Uchiha favorites. As he finished the seals, he would come to a stop and slide on the water's surface slightly before, exhaling sharply. Just like an automatic rifle, several black and white fireballs would spew from his mouth as they blurred towards the female in front of them. Taking this free time, he would perform another set of seals before breathing out a mist that would slowly cover the area in front of his behind and snail it's way over the battlefield. 『XXXXXWalking through the doors to the academy with a calm look on his face, Kansuke glanced about the room slowly. Seeing his nephew Masaru talking with a girl off to the side after practicing a technique; from what Kansuke could gather. The residue of chakra and flames was rather easy to see and feel throughout the air, even for a non-sensor ninja. If he was to guess Masaru and the girl were contemplating sparring or just practicing techniques on each-other. It was always good to train with someone close to you, thinking of that made him remember when he was younger and he used to spar with his brother; Masaru’s father. Scratching his head briefly the black-haired Uchiha decided to finally learn some Ninjutsu for his Katon element. With the fact that he mostly focused on Genjutsu and Bukijutsu the male knew it would be good to have actual Ninjutsu to use against a person.
XXXXXThe first one he was going to learn was considered a very basic defensive Katon Ninjutsu, allowing the user to withstand more heat than normal by using the Katon chakra within oneself to form a sort of barrier around the body, though it was only capable of protecting the user from slightly increased heat, by no means allowing them to withstand roaring flames. Cracking his neck the male walked off towards the side of the academy, forming a single handseal before focusing intently on the chakra within himself. Pulling the Katon based chakra to the surface of his body he allowed it to “form” over his skin, almost like a second layer of his skin. After holding the chakra for a few moments Kansuke let it melt away, returning to his core once more as he cracked his neck. It was an incredibly easy technique to learn, though considering the rumors of all Uchiha being prodigy’s it wasn't that hard to understand why he learned the technique that fast.
XXXXXDeciding it would probably be a good idea to learn his clan’s Iconic fire technique, the Goukakyuu no Jutsu. This was considered the Uchiha’s coming of age, they were forced to learn this at a young age to prove they were worthy of the Uchiha name. Should they fail to complete it they were often considered outcasts, he himself never chose to learn the Jutsu because he preferred Genjutsu. So instead of the Katon he was given the chance to instead learn a Genjutsu for his coming of age ritual. Now however he wanted to learn it just to be able to use it against a ranged person. Cracking his neck loudly the Uchiha clan-head walked over towards one of the training dummies able to be used to practice a technique on. The Goukakyuu no Jutsu was a rather simple technique, molding the fire-based chakra within your lunges before exhaling while holding a Tiger handseal. Blurring through the set of handseals required; Horse, Snake, Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse, Tiger, the Jounin began to mold the chakra within his lunges slowly, folding and increasing the flames briefly. With the fire at the correct level Kansuke exhaled deeply, blowing a large ball of flames from his mouth. It was a dark, evil green in color, indicating just how hot the flames actually were. Watching as the flames head towards the training dummy the male decided it would be best to destroy the fireball as opposed to risking catching anything on fire.
XXXXXGrasping the hilt of his Katana Kansuke shot forward swiftly, appearing in front of the slow moving fireball. Staring the blazing ball down he unsheathed the blade in a blur of speed, slicing the flames cleanly through the middle, resulting in the chakra dispersing after being interfered with. Staring at his glowing red Katana the male gave a sigh, sheathing the blade before sealing it away within a seal on his arm. Perhaps it would be best to just wait to practice fire based techniques for right now. They weren't hard to do, merely too destructive to risk using in an Academy with genin in it. Walking over to a bench against the wall of the academy Kansuke sat down before he closed his eyes, the eerie crimson orbs disappearing behind his eyelids as he relaxed his body. His relaxing was interrupted by a loud roar and a bang; shooting up from his seat the Jounin glanced outside, grimacing before dissapearing in a burst of speed off to Noctis's office.』™
Bounetsu no Jutsu [ Flame-Resistance Technique ] Rank: D Official Description: This is a passive Jutsu that is the first in two steps to protect the user from damaging themselves with their very own techniques. Although not necessarily mandatory to learn the finer points of the tree, it does provide a buffer against self-inflicting injuries. For example the user is able to withstand increasing amounts of heat and can even withstand certain techniques aimed at them. Withstand, however, does not translate into invulnerability as there are general flaws to this Jutsu as well.
Goukakyuu no Jutsu [ Great Fireball Technique ] Rank: C Official Description: Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The Shinobi does the necessary hand seals, draws Chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the Shinobi will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.

Maylee had several techniques she had memorized late into the nights. Her new arisen would being during this spar against Masaru. She had to work fast when Masaru started through his hand seals, "Doroku Gaeshi [ Rock Shield ]." She whispered and snapped her fingers and awaited for the ground to produce a sheild in front of her. The ground stood still. [1/3] She went through the handsigns again and spoke clearer, "Doroku Gaeshi." She breathed and snapped her fingers and pushed her chakra to her feet; through the ground in front of her. She would feel the ground shift a little and raise about an inch upward in front of her. [2/3] Time was running out fast. Maylee went through the hand seals and then commanded, "Doroku Gaeshi." She snapped her fingers, pushed her chakra down, and then through the ground. Maylee watched as the ground shoot up in front of her. It stood 5 feet high and 5 feet wide; she knelt down and pressed her body against the stone. [3/3] Masaru's Housenka no Jutsu smacked into the earth shield.
As the attack folded past her, Maylee took a deep inhale and brought her hands together. "Dochuu Senkou [ Underground Submarine Voyage ]." She would open her eyes and wait for the ground to swallow her, but nothing happened. [1/3] She sighed and tired to refocus. She would go through the hand seals again and speak clearly. "Dochuu Senkou." She pushed her chakra from her center to her legs. Down through her feet and into the ground. Maylee felt the ground shift and roll under her feet but nothing produced after. She exhaled softly and process again. [2/3] "Dochuu Senkou." After the need seals were formed, Maylee sank below ground and quickly travel through the earth. The ground shifted on the other side of the pound and grew. Maylee was crouched as the ground pushed her upward to the surface. Reappearing a distance from once where she stood. Maylee wasn't covered in any deposit of soil as she smiled at how effective the technique was. [3/3]
Maylee went the the next seat of hand seals, "Tsuchi Tou Tou [ Swift Earth ]." She slammed her fists on the ground and caused it to move rapidly away as if it were waves of the rolling tide of the sea. [1/1] It was her attempt to cause Masaru to lose site of her for a moment.
Maylee would then leap into the canopy of the tree lines. Hiding for the time being As her attack eat away at the grounds.

『 Masaru would watch on with onyx eyes that reflected rapid white flashes as the female would blur through and endless chain of seals before the ground finally erected from the Earth, raising to form a shield that would protect her from his fiery assault. The flames would impact the earth before exploding and dispersing, each impact surely denting the earth, the so called shield heating and cracking beneath the heat before it finally shattered to reveal that it's creator wasn't to be seen. "Tch.. it's going to take more than that!" Masaru would kneel on the water's surface as he started a quick chain of seals before taking a deep breath and focusing, calming his body. In this calmed state, he would merged his chakra with plant life and extend some form of sensory perception over great distances to gain heightened sight and auditory powers. With this being done, he could see roughly a 3D view of his surroundings in a 300 feet diameter. With a smirk, he removed one hand from the tiger seal and reached for a handful of shuriken. The image of Masaru would distort a bit before he vanished from sight, appearing on the other side of the mist which would hide himself from her view. Snapping his fingers, there would be a much rougher friction than should have been as it was charged with Katon chakra. There would be a quick spark from his fingers before a small little flame appeared in the combustible mist before there was a bright flash followed by a massive bang as it ignited, sending a shockwave of wind in all directions and creating a shitstorm of debris and dust. Raising his arm to his eyes to shield them from the blast, he would begin to flick the wrist of the hand that contained the shuriken but would stop when he would notice an eerie green glow to his right that pierced the veil of dust and dirt. Squinting, Masaru would see a figure through the window, but couldn't see who. There would be a crack of lightning across the sky in the distance before a massive explosion went off before a blood churning roar could be heard. "W..W...What!?" Masaru would sprint his way over to Maylee before scooping her up in his arms. Whatever was going on, was bad, and they needed to get to the Hokage Monument now. Carrying her, Masaru would run inside of the academy and start to get everybody out and moving along. 『 Masaru would run his way into the empty Academy and head to the back where the scrolls were for jutsu. He had a technique in mind, but wasn't sure of the seals and what all needed to be done. Sadly he didn't have the Fuuton chakra nature, but he had another idea of how he could help. Quickly going from shelf to shelf, he would look for the Doton section. "There you are.." He would comment as he found the scroll he was looking for. Pulling the string that tied it together, he would let it unravel and fall to the floor, spread out. Crouching down the male would quickly read the steps and begin to memorize the handseals. Masaru would begin to practice the seals in rapid succession as he needed to learn this as fast as possible. When activated, the ground literally opens and swallows the opponent with two very large slabs of earth. Once the hand-seals are completed, it can be used anytime and is extremely unpredictable, making it hard to defend against. This would be good for combat later on, but at this moment he would be using it for a different purpose, a more defensive purpose per say. "I'll be barrowing this just in case.." ✘Chikyuu no Sandoichi [ Earth's Sandwich, formerly known as 'Earth's Food' ] Rank: A Official Description: The user creates handsigns and then when they activate it, the ground literally opens and swallows the opponent with 2 very large slabs of earth. Once the handsigns are created it can be used anytime and is extremely unpredictable, making it hard to defend against. Guild Description: When the effect is given, the main force will be from the slabs slamming together. If held open past the initial A-ranked force, the jutsu will continue to push with a B-ranked amount until broken or closed. If the environment naturally has two nearly vertical surfaces, the chakra cost is only B-ranked.
