Oh, that did just not fly. The head nurse of Nacrene City was always known as a devil, to the staff. She could wear the pink wig, the outfit and be all nursey. But you start busting down doors?
Salieri's ruckus didn't go unnoticed, you see. It didn't matter if she got the hole or not, she'd never get in that room. The booming voice of head nurse Amber sounded throughout the hall.
"YOU! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?"

((Salieri sure did a good job of tricking that nurse in spite of being very very drunk razz Oh well, at least they're not desperate enough to be hiring trainers off the street to use as foot soldiers or something))

((Not yet they're not))
"W-wha? N-nurse! Nurse, come an' help me save Wayne!"
Thankfully, Amber's intervention prevented Salieri from kung-fooing (is that a verb? It is now) the door open. Wayne could probably hear the Battle Girl rapping on the door a little bit longer.
"Lady, if you *hic* do, like, a spinnin' back kick an' I ram my shoulder, or somethin', we should have this door down right now. Let's you an' me team up!"

Break down a door? Disturb somebody? Oh, that was it, Salieri was about to get so much of her a** kick-
"Let go!" Amber demanded as a group of nurses grabbed and pulled her away.
"She needs to be punished! She's breaking Center Policy!"
"Grab her legs! Her legs!"
"Policyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy~!"

"Whaaa! Crazy b***h! Chen Zhen, get us outta 'ere! Evasive *hic* maneuvers!" "Pan-SAGE!"
There was a series of footsteps down the hall, and then a door closing as Salieri ducked into a bathroom. From there, it might be possible to hear the sound of tiles being uprooted from inside a bathroom stall. While Chen Zhen could recover his holes in the dirt while using Dig, inside was far trickier. So there would just be a small pile of bathroom tiles next to one of those toilets.
A few seconds later, despite most laws of physics saying that this destination was impossible, there was another sound of a floor being dug through from Wayne's bathroom. Right after that, Salieri and Chen Zhen stumbled out of Wayne's bathroom, looking cautiously at the door to the hallway where they could still hear Amber screaming about policy. The duo looked at each other in disbelief.
"Hooooly s**t, whadda psycho." When she turned around, she almost tripped over nothing as she saw Wayne lying down on the bed. "I was gonna come in 'ere for a reason, but I forgot, soooo..."
Saliei rubbed her chin, then shrugged as she sat on the floor next to Wayne's bed. "So I think I'm gonna jus' take-a-nap while I try an' figure it out," she mumbled as she curled into a ball. Although she usually put on a very tough front, she looked much sweeter while she was sleeping. One of her arms grabbed out and reeled in Chen Zhen, holding the Pansage close like a stuffed animal as she started to nod off.
"Mmm...sweet dream, cutie..."
While she lay there, she couldn't help but think that she forgot something...
****
[So...hungry...] Salem groaned as she crawled across the floor of Salieri's room. When Salieri said she'd bring back watermelons before, the three pokemon had gotten excited that they'd have real food. Especially Salem and Wukong, who's stomachs were empty after puking. [I'm...going...to die...]
Wukong sat up on the bed. The newest member of the crew clutched his stomach in pain, then looked over to Liuye Dao. [Do you think she got lost?]
Although his stomach was in agony because the ph level of Salieri's cooking was somehow dangerously acidic, Liuye Dao's Inner Focus let him remain cool at all times. He stood there as stoically as possible, silent with his arms crossed. He shook his head no.
The Monferno raised an eyebrow. [You don't do a lot of talking, do you?]

((I forget where we left off, and I'm summarizing like 4 hours+ or so, so I'm just gonna wing it. Sorry for not posting, guys, my computer had to be repaired (Whoo new logic board, let's hope this one lasts).))
Fennel's lab was in the second story of a condominium, but even so, it was rather large as it took up the entire floor. There was a low buzzing and the whir of machines throughout the room, along with tables filled with files and strange tubes connected throughout. One such contraption had a light purple mist coming from it that was strangely alluring. As Fennel lead Eunmi to the latest model of the xtransceiver, the teenager couldn't help but gaze around the room. A young girl was seated at a large computer desk with multiple displays typing away furiously. Eunmi could only conclude that the girl was either Fennel's daughter or her assistant.
"I hope it's not too expensive to get one of these." Eunmi thought as she leaned down to look at the model.
"The company that made them is letting us do a buy one get one free offer right now," Fennel said.
"That's pretty cool," Eunmi said, but couldn't help wonder why.
"You see, there's a prototype application we've developed called C-gear," Fennel explained. "But it's much more useful if we can get the application distributed to multiple devices, since it involves more the one to begin with."
"What does the 'C-gear' do?"
"It collects data on activities of trainers, sort of the way the Pokedex collects data on Pokemon," Fennel said. "It's more complicated than that, but that's the gist of it. You can always turn the C-gear off, but it would be helpful to my research to keep it on."
Eunmi picked up the xtransceiver, noting how much lighter it seemed in comparison to her current one. She wondered if Henrietta had one - it didn't seem likely, or she assumed they would have exchanged numbers by now. The second device, she decided, she would give to her. The teenager shuffled through her bag for a minute and retrieved her trainer card to give to Fennel to purchase the devices.
"Pardon me for asking, but you haven't come in contact with a Munna or Musharna recently, have you?" the woman asked, not looking up for her computer as she swiped the teenager's card. "I only ask because I research the Munna's dream mist and one of my machines lit up the moment you came into the lab."
"Uh, yes, actually," Eunmi replied hesitantly. Yesterday had been a bit devastating to the Munna's home - she didn't even know many survived. "My friend and I were sort of attacked by a bunch of them. I think they felt threatened by us."
"That's not unlikely - the munna mostly live near the dream yard, and they're quite protective of what little territory they have left. There used to be a research facility where their homes were," Fennel said.
"…what does the dream mist do?" Eunmi asked.
"It can induce sleep, but we believe it has more capabilities than that. There are other sleep techniques Pokemon can use, but the dream mist seems to enhances a person or pokemon's dreams. It sounds silly, but we believe it's entirely possible that the dream mist can turn dreams into reality…
"We have a machine that can use the dream mist to visualize a pokemon's dreams, at the very least," Fennel said, nodding in the direction of her assistant. Next to the computer monitors was a device much like those at the Pokemon center where Poke Balls appeared to be able to rest.
"Ah," Eunmi said, unclipping a Poke ball from her belt. "D-Vee… er, my Smeargle. He's still asleep from the fight yesterday. Do you think…?" She didn't mean to impose.
"I'd be delighted, especially if he came into contact with the Munna's dream mist - his dreams will likely be more vivid," Fennel replied, taking D-Vee's poke ball and placing it in the tray.
"My assistant, Amanita, runs the Pokemon Storage server here in Unova. In addition, she operates most of the machinery involving poke balls and data transfer here in the lab."
A monitor hooked up to the machine suddenly became live as D-Vee's poke ball clicked into place. It took a moment to process, but eventually images began to appear on the screen, though it was fuzzy and had noise.
D-Vee's dream was focused on him, of course. He was engaged in an intense battle against a much larger opponent - a Gyarados, but Eunmi hardly knew the pokemon of Unova, much less Pokemon of other regions. The ground around them was strewn with lines of paint, as the Smeargle had been dashing around drawing what, to Eunmi, appeared to be random symbols. The Gyarados shot a strong blast of water at the normal-type Pokemon, but he dashed out of the way; instead, the water struck the ground but began to destroy the drawings. D-Vee looked back, and his attention deviated to the person in the trainer's corner. A teenage girl, maybe, it was hard to tell her age. Her hair was light brown, arms crossed, and she wore a stern expression. She opened her mouth to say something, but the machine only showed visuals, so whatever she said was unheard. D-Vee seemed to get it, though, and he lunged onto the Gyarados. When he did, the large water pokemon began to thrash about, but D-Vee had managed to paint something on the Pokemon's side - a target, it looked like, next to a cloud with a zigzag drawn from it. A moment later, the Smeargle was thrown from the Gyarados' back, and he twisted to land on his feet. A second later, a bolt of lightening struck from the sky, hitting the Gyarados head on. D-Vee smiled, looking back to the trainer once more, who flashed a quick and brief smile before simply nodding her head.
"You're Smeargle has such a visual mind," Fennel commented. "Certainly one of the most realistic looking dreams I've seen. He definitely has a fighting spirit, if he dreams like that. Did you get him in a trade?"
"N-no, my mom got him for me, but he does have a previous owner," Eunmi said. She turned to Amanita. "So you research poke balls?"
"No, of course not," Amanita said with a frown. The small girl seemed annoyed at such a stupid question. "I research the data that Poke Balls contain and the storage system."
"…but you could… find out who his previous trainer was, right?"
"Anyone can do that," Amanita said. "Every trainer knows that the poke ball registers the Original Trainer and their ID number. All you have to do is scan it with the Pokedex."
"Oh," Eunmi said, slightly embarrassed as she retrieved D-Vee's Poke ball. She turned back to Fennel. "Well, thank you for the xtrancievers. I'll keep the C-gear on - I don't see any reason not to."
"Of course. If you meet anyone else with a xtransceiver, you can give them an IR download of the software. The more people that have it, the more useful it is."
* * * * *
"She treated me like I was an idiot," Eunmi exclaimed. She appeared to be talking to herself, but she was actually talking to the waddling Oshawott behind her that was struggling to keep up - he only did so when she stopped abruptly and he ran into her leg.
"I mean, 'sorry', no one told me all the mechanics of the Pokedex," Eunmi said, waving her hand in the air. "I suppose I was supposed to learn that in 'Pokemon Training Class'?" She said this sarcastically, but the teenager had either slept through or not paid attention in most of the actual class in High School, and in fact, they did teach that in the school. They also taught that Pokemon with a different original trainer would be difficult if the new trainer didn't have enough badges to compensate the Pokemon's trust or something of that nature, but Eunmi didn't know that either.
"I'm not going to sit around and have some snot nose brat that's less than half my age treat me like an idiot," Eunmi gritted her teeth. "Just 'cause I didn't aspire to be a 'Pokemon Master' like every other kid since I was 5… Ugh."
"Osha…" the otter pokemon said, patting her leg gently. Eunmi looked down at Dali and smiled.
"Sorry, it's not that I don't like you," she said, kneeling down. "I actually think you're really cool. And you've already gotten so much stronger in just a few days. I get some of the appeal better now, and I know you and D-Vee want me to be a better trainer.
"I just need a chance to learn to do that, yanno?" Eunmi said. "I can't just learn everything I don't know in a day."
"Osha osha," Dali said.
"Thanks. I knew you'd understand."
The Oshawott shook his head, pulled his shell off, and then pointed. Eunmi twisted to look around at what Dali was pointing at and found a tall building with red flags and gold poke balls on them.
"'Pokemon Trainers' School'?" Eunmi read aloud, wincing. "I just wanted to vent, I didn't mean…" Looking down at Dali, Eunmi noticed how hopeful the Pokemon looked. He seemed really happy to have helped.
"Let's go check it out…" she said with a sigh.
* * * * *
"Osha…wott wott." Dali prodded Eunmi with his shell. She was collapsed over an open book, several stacks of books next to her. The Oshawott had been prodding her for about five minutes after he had realized she fell asleep. He didn't know how long she'd been out, because he had been engrossed in a picture book.
"Nghh…" she murmured, batting a hand lazily at him before snuggling further into her arms and the pages of the book. Dali looked nervously around, hoping no one would notice the girl had fallen asleep. He slowly reached to her belt and grabbed D-Vee's Poke ball. In a flash, the Smeargle appeared, similarly sleepy, but he snapped awake at the sight of Eunmi.
[What is she doing?] he said, obvious disdain in his voice.
[Studying! Or was. She fell asleep. But I don't want her to get in trouble…] Dali said, pushing his nub of hands together.
[Studying what?] D-Vee said, peering at her book. It was a passage about status ailments. [Pokemon training?]
[Whoa, you know that just from looking at those wiggle looking marks?] Dali said.
[It's called reading, and yes,] D-Vee said. [Why is she studying Pokemon Training?]
[Apparently a little girl insulted her intelligence.]
[Tsk, so much for caring about us.]
[Why are you so mean towards her?] Dali asked. [I mean, I know you've been her pokemon longer… but she seems nice.]
[She's not my real trainer,] D-Vee grumbled.
[Oh, that's what she was mad about.]
[What?] D-Vee said loudly. Why would Eunmi have any right to be mad about his real trainer?
[She asked the girl how to find out who your original trainer was, but the girl was really rude about it,] Dali explained. [Emi didn't know…]
D-Vee stared up at Eunmi, his brow softening. So Eunmi was looking up more information about Pokemon because she wanted to …help him? No, that was silly. She just felt insulted. Still…
[That teacher guy is coming over here,] Dali murmured. [We gotta wake her up!]
D-Vee climbed up the chair and into Eunmi's lap. He pushed against the table with his feet, pushing her chair away enough for Eunmi to startle awake just as the instructor came over.
"Sleeping in my classroom?" the older man said with a stern and annoyed voice.
"N-no," Eunmi said, glancing at her book. "Just… learning about status ailments, sir. Sleep is cured by… umm, awakening, not that I needed any."
"Right…" he leered at her and then turned to the front of the classroom.
"Geez," Eunmi sighed. She looked to D-Vee, who was now sitting on the table, and smiled. "Thanks for bailing me out of that. We should probably leave before he gives us a quiz.. or worse, homework."
* * * * *
"Oh crap," Eunmi stopped short, causing D-Vee and Dali to smack into her legs. "I totally forgot I got you guys food. I was so worked up over not knowing stuff a six year old knew, I completely forgot about it."
[Thank god,] D-Vee said, holding his stomach.
"But I got some for Henrietta too," the teenager said, also remember the xtransceiver she had gotten for her as well. "Where do you think she is?"
[I'm not a hunting dog,] the pokemon inspired by a beagle said ironically.
"She had a Gym match, didn't she?" she looked at her wrist. It was way later than she had anticipated. "No, that must be over with now. Oh no, do you think she left without me?"
Eunmi looked horrified.
"I don't wanna go on another route alone," she almost cried. "All those wild pokemon!"
[Calm down,] D-Vee replied, raising his arms. [She's probably training anyways. You're not even sure she won her Gym match.]
"You're right, D-Vee," Eunmi replied, smacking her fist in her palm. "She must have gone back to the dream yard."
[I didn't say that- why would she go there? Ugh… can't we at least stop for ice cream first? As, like, yanno… a pre-meal snack?] he asked as Eunmi dashed off. [Damn it…]

Robert blinked a bit. He had already witnessed both the good and the bad of humanity. He saw humans who worked to help Pokemon in need, despite how it all ended, and a gang of criminals who attacked and even killed wild Pokemon, stole Pokemon from trainers and all while hiding behind a silver lie, one that could truly never happen. Pokemon and humans all live on the same planet and have helped each other since time immemorial. There would always be bad people, and there were also bad Pokemon. But Robert had faith in humanity, because the majority of the people he had met on his journeys in Sinnoh and in Unova were good people who loved their Pokemon. He left to go to the dojo to train some more.
At the arena portion of the dojo, Robert climbed into one of the set-up rings, followed by his trio. "Alright, let's start off with some blocking exercises. Freya and Garnet, I want you two to attack me with regular strikes. We'll start of slow and work our way up in speed and power." Robert instructed. Once Robert took up a defensive position, both Freya and Garnet would begin throwing punches and kicks at Robert. Robert would do his best to catch or block each attack with his hands, arms and legs. At first the attacks were spread out time-wise, and not much power put into them. As time progressed, the attacks came more rapidly and with greater strength. Robert pushed himself to keep up with two Pokemon attacking him at once. Once he was beginning to feel overwhelmed and a few attacks managed to strike him, Robert would hols an open palm upwards in the air to signal for a break. "Let's take a five minute break and pick up from that intensity level." Robert said. Robert sat himself down and looked at his Pokemon. Still though, now he was curious himself as to how his Pokemon felt about Pokeballs.
"Tell me the truth ladies. How DO you feel about these Pokeballs?" Robert asked as he took out and held out their three luxury balls. Freya was the first to respond. the Lucario replied telepathically to him.
Beatrix shrugged. she replied.
Garnet did a bit of Pokespeak, and Freya decided to translate it for Robert. Freya spoke with a bit of a giggle.
Robert chucklled a bit and smiled. "Glad to hear it. Still, I wonder what was up with that guy. The way he talked about the evils of humans, I wonder if he really thinks all people are evil. Granted there are a handful like Team Galactic and now Team Plasma, but they don't speak for the rest of us." Robert commented before standing himself back onto his feet. "Alright ladies, let's pick up from where we left off. Same level of intensity." Robert said as he took up a defensive pose.

((Your pants, Salieri! You forgot your pants!))
Wayne shifted. The banging and shouting was irritating. So irritating. He pushed up and onto his side, sitting up as he surveyed the room. His pokémon were asleep except for Hitmonlee, whose eyes were strangely luminescent in the dark bedroom. And Salieri and Chen Zhen were sleeping at the foot of the bed.
"What're you doing here?" he muttered, a frown on his face. He shook his head. Guess she's asleep. Wayne got up and found his shirt and top, finishing off getting dressed as he gathered his pokéballs together to recall his pokémon.
Hitmonlee went last. Wayne and he met eyes for seconds and the trainer could feel power practically radiating from the monster. Maybe it was just his state of mind. Right now Wayne felt weak compared to anything. He kept his gaze sharp, brow furrowed as he lifted his pokéball.
"Get back inside," he said, the red recall beam shooting Hitmonlee and converting the pokémon into a mass of light that whipped back into the ball. Wayne stared at the transparent red top before twisting it and making the thing go opaque. Minimised, the ball went into the trainer's pocket with the others.
One last look back to Salieri, Wayne stopped at the door for a second. He shook his head and breathed out sharply before stepping into the rest of the pokémon center.
Though he knew it was loud; a center carrying nearly two towns worth of pokémon trainers, it seemed strangely distant. He looked to the ground with his hands in his pockets. The voices and shouts and cries were merely echoes, like on a TV with the sound turned down. Muffled.
Wayne knew that he'd told the receptionist he was leaving but couldn't remember how it went. He stepped into the cold Nacrene air and stood still.
"Great," he said to himself, "Now what?"

Henrietta had gone back to training. Shinai held firmly with both hands, she practiced her form and swing, each one throwing droplets of rain that had hit the shinai. Her eyes were focused and she didn't feel embarrassed about it, not all the way out here out of sight of anyone.
Meanwhile, Socant and Frate had returned to their training and Melty, who was tired of exploring, sat atop Henrietta's head. Now, the rain was totally gay, but he was too hungry to care. Torching people's sentimental items took a lot of energy, or so he claimed.

Eunmi, shortly after getting thoroughly damp from the rain, had rushed to purchase an umbrella, thus delaying her search for Henrietta once more. But now, with nothing to stop her, the teenager wandered into the wreckage of the Dream Yard.
It didn't take long to spy Henrietta, the only moving thing in the whole place. Eunmi stopped and stayed still once she found the girl and watched quietly as Henrietta slashed at the air, or rain (whichever it was), with her shinai. After a short while, Eunmi would eventually speak up, but only because she realized Henrietta was too focused to notice her.
"You're going to get sick practicing out here," Eunmi said.

Henrietta wheeled around when Eunmi arrived with an "eep!" She'd find herself nearly slipping in the mud and then she'd be facing Eunmi, her face red as she recalled the morning.
"I-i-i-i-i, h-h-hum," she looked away. Then, as she stared off to the side she found it easier to talk. "I-i just thought I needed to be stronger. T-to find D-Darumi."
Melty, meanwhile, had a slew of curses for Henrietta for almost making him fall with the sudden movement. Though it wasn't true that he'd almost fallen, he'd had 'cling to people's heads while maintaining a ball of solar power' training.
