Star realized something was wrong. How can he follow me like that? He knew he had to end this. Their special combo wouldn’t work for this battle. He let all of his double team fade and he flew into the bright sun.
“Star!” called Lilly, “what are…” she then she realized that some how Larwn was following him. “Go for it boy!” She trusted Star completely.
As Star got ready to attack he spotted a huge air ship in the sky with a huge red R on it slowly landing in the trees in the route East of Vermillion past the road house. It would have been hard to see by regular Pokémon, but with his Keen eye, Star spotted it easily. Star knew that sign. Lilly had shown all her Pokémon the signs of all the Pokémon bad villain groups in the Pokémon world. Lilly’s whole team knew them by heart. Instead of coming down with an attack on Larwn, he came down shrieking toward Lilly.
Lilly knew that shriek, it meant trouble. “Oh my gosh, Star, what’s wrong? Are you okay? Why are you screeching like that?” Lilly ran toward Star worried and scared.
“Staraptor, Staraptor,” said urgently as he pointed East with his wing, “raptor, raptor!”
“What’s wrong? What’s out there?” Lilly asked worriedly looking toward the East. “calm down boy, it’s ok.”
((Hey, sorry I cut the battle short blue-alien but, I wanted to make this thread have some action for everyone not just the people battling each other. I hope you understand. And RasenganImpact you will get the battle I promised you and if you don’t like the way the story is going just post it on the thread and I will edit my post. Thanx.))

Slowking smirked "Good!" Slowking said as he jumped in the air and then did a nose dive to the ground with it's fist out. It hit the ground with amazing stregth, sending a blast wave from the contact of Giga impact with the ground, also leaveing a small crater!

"FOOD'S READY!!" yelled out Raine as he came down the stairs all covered up in spots of blue, yellow and green, practically. Looking at the table where Jace and the rest of the crew sat, he saw that the food, human food, that is, wasn't really out yet. And so, the Pokemon would have to go eat first. He went back up again, and descended once more, now carrying what looked like a box full of Poffins and Pokemon treats. Following him was another one of the Road House staff who was kind enough to help him get the load down. The foor was for both Jace's and his Pokemon after all, so there won't be a need to worry, or doubt.
Raine and the person who followed him moved outside, pushing the sliding glass doors aside. They lay down the boxes on the floor and then take out from it one by one, food bowls for the Pokemon to eat in, however, for Onix, and Feraligatr, much larger bowls were prepared to compensate for their size. Specifically, Raine had made his Ice-dry Blue Poffins for both Azuril and Staryu. On the other hand, Shuppet, who loved to eat Rain's Green Gooey Poffin, was given what he was craving for, and Onix, who loved Rock-hard Yellow Poffins, as well. Feraligatr and the rest of Jace's Pokemon had a mixed Brown Chocolate-flavored poffin. Once served, Cubone squirmed itself right out of Feraligatr's heavy physique, and dug right in.
"Eat up," cheered Raine, "We won't be eating this kind of food for quite a while after this meal, so, enjoy," he said with a playful tone - and his Pokemon agreed, all happy and content. He also considered how Jace's Pokemon reacted to it.
Once the Pokemon started to chow down on their food, Raine shook hands with the person who helped him prepare the food, and then, before finally returning to his seat where the food was already prepared, cleaned himself up. The batter of the poffins were scattered all over his face, and as he was too busy cooking a while ago, it was only now that he noticed how messy it was...
Putting himself back on the seat of the table with Jace, Raine gave Feebas a special serving of a highly complex Poffin formula made with Belue Berries and Wiki Berries. It should be unimaginably sour and very dry, however, to taste, with the way both berries were mixed and prepared, a sweet taste was produced. This, then, was met by another drawback. The poffins were so dry and hard, that it would only be edible if eaten in an aquatic environment - it was simply like a pellet Poffin now. Perfect for Feebas as he always had to eat his food inside a small tank, which to mention it was in, or, in some body of water... Prinplup, too, had the same Pokemon treats as Staryu and Azuril did. The proud Penguin Pokemon ate like a healthy child after the food bowl was served right before him. After he made sure that the Pokemon were content with their own helpings of food, Raine dug in on some of the creamy soup that he ordered himself, with some bread on the side.
"I fixed up a healthy Poffin from an old recipe I got from a friend in Goldenrod City, in Johto for your Pokemon. It's a Chocolate-flavored Poffin which practically elevates the appetite, as well as Pokemon toughness and overall coolness. Thought you should know," explained Raine, chugging down on the soup.

((Skipping a few minutes after the meal, to training post.))
It was a sunny afternoon down in Route 12 of the Kanto region. At least, that's what Raine got from the Pokegear. Above Route 12 was a spooky little town called Lavender. Route 12 was originally a Sea Route, but was later on set up with bridges so that people from Lavender Town wouldn't be so far away from the rustle and bustle of the bigger Kanto Cities. Now, on the shorline of Route 12, Raine and friends settle down for rest. While he was waiting for Jace to finish up, he began to train, right outside the Road House where the rest of his team were. Right now, Onix was being trained for a Pokemon Contest that he would be entering soon. The other members of the team simply supported Onix.
"Onix, use Iron Tail to do a Sand Attack!" Raine called, his voice filled with energy.
Onix then roared, and, with speed, slithered above the sandy ground and with one sweep of the tail, about a ton, figuratively, of sand had been directly swept off of the ground towards the ocean where it was roughly scattered by the wind due to it's massive bulkiness.
"Good job, Onix! That should've blinded the opponent, and at the same time, damage it instantly. Now, set up some holes with Dig!"
Onix roared again, and the speedy rock-snake Pokemon dug it's head immediately into the ground and sooner disappeared from sight. The huge Onix, now underground, began to cause minor tremors, which in turn, caused the sinking of sand. The tremors, as Onix stayed longer inside the ground, however, increased in intensity. As they were near a body of Water, Onix probably began to feel the coolness of the seawater getting into the holes that he'd already dug. Onix' roar then echoed out of those holes.
"Hang on, Onix. This is where we'll test your defenses," claimed Raine as he too held on for his dear Onix.
When Onix roared again, Raine knew that it was now beginning to come in contact, directly with water. Acting quickly, Raine ordered Onix to set up an Iron Defense to keep himself focused...
"Just a little more..." said Raine, but Onix was struggling real hard now. The water must be filling the holes. When Onix roared in agony once more, Raine, only then, gave Onix the signal. "Dig and Sandstorm!"
The earth beneath Raine's feet became shaky at that moment Onix struggled to get out of a hole. From the center of the many holes that Onix dug up, the rock-snake pokemon popped out and jumped, rising into the air as tall as a three story-building. The rocks which made up its body then began to revolve and twirl as the sparkling sand mixed with the iron hide that it had formed with iron defense. Paired with the glittering waters it had dug up underneath, the conjured pillar of Sand Storm was remarkable. The water acted up to not make the pillar completely sand, but to somehow compress air within it so that it would seem like a certain spiral pattern of shiny sand composed the tornado. But that wasn't all. With the wind pressure directed downward at the hole from which Onix crawled out off, water and sand were also pumped out of the other hols that it had dug up before, then complementing the main pillar of spiraling sand.
Confident with what Onix did, and overjoyed, to add, Raine burst out and clapped madly. "Brilliant, Onix! That's what I call an appeal of toughness! Finish up with Iron Tail!"
With one loud bang, and the hammer of Onix' Iron Tail to the ground, the spiral-sand pillar broke, along with the rest of the effects that was added to it, making it hang in air for about two seconds or so before it sunk back into the ground. After the winning appeal, Onix then gave one proud roar. It's hard work and endurance finally payed-off!
"Bravo, Onix! You deserve a good rest," suggested Raine as he applauded for it. It then responded with a happy nod, and then, it slowly slithered back to Raine's side, giving the other members of the team some space to train on. "Alright," he started again, rubbing Onix' rocky scales. "Next round is the Battle Round,"
"I haven't really decided yet on who to match up for a battle," he admitted as he faced his Pokemon, "So we'll just have to test out via a double battle. Shuppet, and Staryu on one team," he suggested, raising his left hand - "-and Prinplup and Azuril on the other," then, raising the right hand. The Pokemon then followed where Raine had directed them, and moved into position as if they were on the battlefield, with, of course, Raine acting as referee and the battling trainer at the same time.
Now facing the battlefield, Raine raised both hands to signal the four members of his team. "This will be a good match up, a new one, so guys, listen up," he commanded with a stern voice. "Prinplup and Azuril, Staryu and Shuppet, these are all new combinations. Azuril and Staryu have support abilities, and Prinplup and Shuppet are good in offense - so this should be an equal match to test each other's skills. We'll have to face a lot more than this in the actual battle, so, we'd better set up for it,"
As Raine paused, the Pokemon nodded in response, flashing determined looks - all of them. Azuril braced herself for battle beside Prinplup who was ready to lunge out and attack. Shuppet, on the other hand, mysteriously smiled at her opponents as Staryu proudly showed itself off in the battlefield. "Since we've got our determination down," mused Raine, "Start!"
A series of battle orders would take place now, and as this, Raine would be able to train himself in thinking quite quickly during the actual battle, instead of panicking. His team, too, would have to get it down quick, or else, they'd be confused. Once confused, being startled by another Pokemon's appeal would be easy and it would be an easy downfall. Raine wasn't about to let that happen...
"Feebas!" [GO!] cheered Feebas, and Onix, too, roared and hammered its tail repeatedly on the ground. Raine was about to bring it...
"Prinplup, Aqua Jet - Azurill, Bubble to confuse the opponent!" Raine yelled on one side. Turning to the other, he began to analyze how each one of them should move to avoid. "Stayu, Rapid Spin Axis in reverse to suck up the bubbles, Shuppet use Shadow Sneak!"
With the barrage of commands all at one go, one would think that Raine's Pokemon would be very confused. On the contrary, Raine and his Pokemon are already beginning to put on quite a show. As Prinplup sped forth with its Aqua Jet - the stream of water tailing behind it glistening beneath the sunlight, Azurill's bubbles complemented it so well that Prinplup's charge became stronger. On the other hand, Staryu absorbed the bubbles by spinning on its axis, pretty much like how the earth spins. The bubbles created a foam around it that pretty much shielded it from Prinplup's attack, taking in only very minimal damage. Shuppet, on the other hand, made its way behind Prinplup right after Staryu absorbed Aqua Jet's impact. The water splashed althroughout the shore, creating a beautiful blue explosion of bubbles and glittering water.
"Staryu, step back and Recover - Shuppet - Will-o-Wisp! Azurill, Substitute with Prinplup and Facade! Prinplup, use Mist!"
Backing out of range in haste, Staryu became enveloped in white aura and began to recover while out of range of the strong and incoming Will-o-Wisp. Azurill, however, pulled off a quick Substitute with Prinplup, allowing it to take the heat while Prinplup spread away a thick mist to allow itself to evade incoming attack. While the Will-O-Wisp's fire had already circled around shuppet, Azurill turned around and allowed its tail to become energized with a golden aura. Upon Will-O-Wisp's contact, as Shuppet had commanded the nine ghostly balls of beautiful green fire to shoot at Azurill, the small baby mouse Pokemon spun around in the air and struck with her enormous glowing tail. With facade's power doubled by the Burning effect of Will-O-Wisp, it had nullified the fire completely, and then again, pushed Shuppet out of the way without dealing that much damage as well, as Facade, a normal type move, would only pass through the Ghost Type Shuppet...
With only Azurill somehow hit, it was still fine.
"Azurill, jump into the Mist and use Refresh to heal yourself. Prinplup Ice Beam go! Shuppet, Night Shade to pull yourself out of the way, Staryu, cut through Ice Beam with Protect and then charge away with Rapid Spin-Water Gun combo. Prinplup - defend yourself with Metal Claw!"
Azurill began to use Refresh to help itself recover from a bad Burn by Will-O-Wisp. In the mist, she began to produce a soothing green aura which cooled down her injuries, thus, healing it. While doing this, Prinplup had sent out a powerful blue bolt of freezing energy at Shuppet. Immediately, however, the Shuppet began to distort it's image out of the way, causing a bit of damage to Prinplup. Following it was Staryu, who rendered Ice Beam useless and charged at Prinplup like a buzz-saw using Rapid Spin. The Penguin pokemon, luckily, thought fast and defended itself by crossing before itself, its glowing flippers which have turned into sharp weapons for cutting. Upon making contact, Staryu would have to immediately retreat for it not to be damaged by Metal Claw so badly. Thus, upon a few hits, it immediately retreated...
"YHEAH!" [Good fight!] said Staryu, the mist now cleared to reveal Prinplup and Azurill still ready to fight.
"Prin-plup!" [I agree!] responded Prinplup.
"Azurill," [Gimme,] Azurill said happily.
"Shuppet," [Bring it,] Shuppet replied daringly...
It would seem that the fight has only begun, but sadly, Raine had to raise his hand. The battle was now over... "Finish!" he exclaimed, signaling a stop to both teams. By now, Staryu and the rest of the battling Pokemon stood by Raine and listened attentively. The team surrounded Raine upon his call and gesture, and they all conversed about who would be joining the next battle in hushed tones. Nobody else would be able to know, except the lot of them...

Afterwards, the circle of the meeting broke. This signaled the end of the meeting. Once they were done, everybody else was called back into their Pokeballs. Everybody else, except Shuppet - that is... Noticing that Shuppet did not want to go back to its Pokeball, Raine thought that it might have been surprised by the recent development. Maybe Shuppet wasn't expecting this too soon. After all, Shuppet was the least experienced in battles. Sympathizing, Raine tried to approach Shuppet as she held a worried look. However, by the time Raine tried to carry the little darling, it froze, and its eyes widened - and next, a surge of electricity sparked round Shuppet's whole body. The next thing Raine knew, Shuppet had already been covered in blinding white light. It's energies began to increase rapidly.
"Shuppet?" Raine asked, "Are you evolving?"
A few moments later and Shuppet's form, covered in a mysterious white light, began to change and expand, growing bigger, and then, taking a whole new form afterwards. The light which enveloped it slowly faded away, leaving a small luster or sparkle, giving Shuppet one last ounce of the heart it had when it was still called Shuppet.
"Wow, Shuppet," mused Raine, laughing as he carried Banette and raised her high. "You're now a Banette! Fwahah!"
"Bay-nette," [Oh yes,] said Banette as she smiled at Raine. Now taking out the Pokedex, Raine identified Banette and recorded her data into it.
"Banette, the Marionette Pokemon," said Dexter's cybernetic, cyberlicious sexy voice program. "Banette generates energy for laying strong curses by sticking pins into its own body. It was once a doll that became a Pokémon over its grudge from being junked. It seeks the child that disowned it. According to legend, Banette tend to prefer to live in urban areas to haunt the people who abandoned their old marionettes," ((From Wikipedia.))
"Congratulations, Banette," mused Raine as Banette hovered down to Raine's level of sight. "You've gotten really strong, I know, so, there's no need to worry, alright?"
"Bay-bay-nette, Baynette!" [I'll try to not be so nervous. Thank you,] said Banette.
"Alright, time for a well-earned rest. Let's all see each other when we get to the next camp-spot, alright?" asked Raine as he took out Banette's Pokeball from the bag. "Banette, return," said Raine, and so she did...
