The shock on Ash's face was evident, but what was amazing was his ability to snap out of it immediately and keep going almost instantaniously. He used his legs to hold onto the clone's arm, as to begin the set up for his next move. He then flickered, disappearing from sight for a moment, only to reappear behind and above the clone. His arms may have been useless, but that didn't mean he was completely disabled. This Ash was but an afterimage, however. The real Ash was crouched, performing a sweep kick. The after image would disappear right before the foot connected.

"Well then," Howaido recovered quick intending to jump forwards into a hand stand, narrowly dodging the sweep by chance as the image disappeared he was again face to face with his student, though upside down. He spun at the waist pivoting on his knuckles so as to do a massive windmill of kicks before bouncing back up right and lifting his left leg in the air knee bent and his right arm above his head hand bent to point at Ash. His left arm was out in front bent towards Howaidos chest at the elbow and his hand has palm out facing Ash, this was the full stance.

Eziel landed and lept back. this was a little unnerving. he knew that this guy was better than him by a lot. but now he had to fight clones of him. and he didn't even know what kinds of clones they were. although overwhelmed he quickly gathered his self control and looked straight at his opponents.
"i thought you were supposed to be training me."
he said calmly still just staring at all of them.

Ash could feel the blood in his arms pumping. He couldn't use them yet, but the feeling was returning. That was good. First: Hate, then Envy, now was... Fury. He could feel it building inside him. Why couldn't he touch this guy? Sure, he was more experienced, but the guy was just toying with him! Trace amounts of chakra became visible in the air around him. His canines grew sharper a bit, resembling miniature fangs.

He flickered and reappeared in front of the clone. Beneath him, a crater formed, and his leg shot out in a kick. There was something else. On top of being more powerful than his previous efforts, a chakra burst was added at the end of the foot. Even before the attack was mid way through, his other leg's knee shot up, aimed at the clone's chin. This attack was just as powerful as the kick was, without the added chakra pulse.

"Training is more or less anything that makes you stronger, if you dont believe that this will make you stronger I may have to start being more convincing." The voice came from one of the images, maybe, it wasnt certain, they all slowly charged him, their footsteps made no sound, come to think of it Howaido never made a sound either. Each image lifted its katana at various angles and looked quite threatening, Howaido would watch him attack the clones for now. Once Eziel mastered stage 3 he could teach him how to make his next smoke bomb, it would take a short time but this new bomb would be the most useful and most dangerous also.

-scene change to Ash-

So this was the deal, he would use it to his advantage, as the kick came out he caught it. No not quite it was more like a strike with equal pressure, if it hadnt been equal pressure the boys foot wouldve been broken easily by the strike. He then used the foot to push off from the point of impact and hurl himself at Ash. If things worked right he would grab Ash by the ankles and have him around the neck with his ankles in a debilitating choke hold, one of the submission styles of Pai Qua Quan. If it went on any longer the boy would be unconscious and both legs would be broken at the ankle.

Ash could feel his arms again. Now it was time for all or nothing. The original technique was meant to go from foot to hand, but he figured the reverse would be equally effective. "HaaaaAAAAA!!!!" More chakra became visible as it condensed in the air. He shot his hands down, and the momentum from the crater causing move shot up to his feet. With enough momentum, he was able to barrel roll, and, not so easily, break the submission hold.

He was able to hop back a couple of feet before fall to his knees and coughing, then began to slowly pant. He still wasn't done though. He could keep going. He didn't know how long he could stay steady, but until that limit was reached, he'd keep going. Then something began to change again. Chakra continued to condense, but his fury slowly began to fade. It was visible by every means. No, he began to calm down. He slowly stood, then held both hands out, neither open palmed nor fists. They were in the middle of the two states. His right elbow was bent at a ninety degree angle, his left at a ten degree, both hands in front of his chest. He took a deep breath, then exhaled. His heartbeat steadied at a slower pace. His muscles began to harden, though not change in size.

His right hand opened, turned upside down, then his fingers flicked up twice. ((Different Music!!!!))

"So you finally found your next step eh, I like this so many abrupt changes, it keeps me on edge." He charged in at a borderline Jounin level speed, his full speed was S ranked, but he couldnt use that here. He came in quick and added a shoulder palm thrust as his first attack, then a kick to the side much like kick boxing. With this he ended it in a lightning fast discombobulation maneuver in which he struck both his ears and temples in a clapping maneuver on each side of the face. It had taken a little bit but he could easily predict moves as well as incoming projectiles or anything, speed distance he could predict it all with his eyes, it seemed he was finally reaping the benefits of Shunkan no Hagane at its finest.

This... sensation.... Death was staring at him and yet... he felt no different than if he was staring off at the night sky. He felt at ease somewhat. The frontal attacks made by the clone were blocked with the same force using Cross Block. The discombobulation attempt was nulled through Iron Body, by strengthening his muscles around his skull and eardrums. Added on to the Iron Body defense, his arms, now fully recovered, flashed, warding off the clone's arms completely now, and went with the same hand motions as the clone had used on him. He hands went straight for the clone's chest, as the height difference was kind of unfair to attempt the same exact move. He was aiming between the rib cage bones, for the lungs and heart.

This new stance was a defensive one, but his ability to react and counter... this feeling was incredible.

Sadly Howaido felt it time to move on as the thrusts came forwards he used his full speed and strength to grasp the boys hand at the wrist. He was behind him in no less than an after image with his arm caught and tripping Ash to cause him to land forwards on his face he pushed him forwards using the arm that was now straight out behind Ash. Ash would feel his joints creak as the move was put into effect and as he was slammed into the ground he would wrench Ashs shoulder causing the arm to be dislocated rather than broken. He could pop Ashs arm into place easy without it hindering their mission but a broken bone would be a hindrance. So with his foot on Ashes back and the dislocated arm quite limp he drew out his katana and stepped off,"Come on, youre not done yet..."

Ash simply got up after a moment. His entire body was like it was made of steel, and seemed to but just as powerful now. He grinned, and in the monotoned voice, slowly and simply said "Yep. Sorry. Outta chakra." The condensed chakra evaporated. Then he fell forward, slow enough to have Ouka catch him, which she hit him upside the head as she did so. "Bakaro. Only knows it's time to stop when the lights go out." Well, he had gone through both a taijutsu and kenjutsu style. That kind of strain would be incredible for anyone, let alone a simple gennin.

She carried him off to the side, laid him down, then sat on her knees. She popped his arm back into place, then hovered her hands over his chest. "Che. I can have him back up, but this is gonna take some time. Being that he's out right now, mind telling me if there's anything else you know about this... 'target' guy?' As she finished, orange chakra began to aura from her hands and entire Ash's body.

The clone slouched back as the real Howaido entered and frowned,"I dont know anymore about it really, sorry we havent been given much to work with." The clone threw its head back and laughed,"Im not cut out for this type of combat, Im a ******** clone for christs sake!" With that it disappeared to be replaced with the real Howaido, he was oddly quiet for having arrived and was watching, could the Gennin really be prepared in time?

Ouka sighed as the chakra faded, then she waited. After a moment, she glared at Ash. "Oi! How long do you plan to just lay there?" He grinned, though his eyes were still closed. The goggles were on his forehead now. "Was hoping to catch some sleep before we continued... Yer no fun at all." He held his hand up, and she grabbed it, then helped him up. He was a little shakey at first, but quickly regained his balance. "Old Man, wanna keep going?"

"Ne, fine we can, but Im warm," he nodded referring to having been not training with Ash, but the clone.

Ouka nodded as she handed Ash a katana, the one he walked in with. It was forged by his father. Not the best sword in the world, but one of the most durable. It wouldn't break easily, not at all. He took a very straight stance. "Rectitude, Courage, Benevolence, Respect, Honesty, Honour Loyalty. Allow these tenets to guide my way. If any should fade, may I fall." Then his hand went to the hilt, and pulled the blade out only slightly. He then bounced lightly once, then twice, then sprinted at the man. Upon getting in swinging distance, his katana flashed as it swept from the sheath through the air. As soon as that was finished, no, maybe slightly before the full swing was done, he used chakra to enhance the blade, made it lighter. He followed up with a powerful downward swing, then an upward swing.

"Hmph..." the real Howaido said very little it seemed as the attack came he merely stood his sword remaining sheathed. "Shihara Dori ," as the first attack came across there would be a small flash as Howaido drew his sword and grabbed his sheath as well. In the next second that the attack happened the blade of Ashes would be sheathed in Howaidos own sheath and trapped. "Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Ryukansen Arashi (Wind Dragon Rising Slash Storm) ," next upon wrenching the blade away he would do a very fancy maneuver with chakra on his feet, causing him to do an intricate spinning lunge towards Ash coming forwards but the spin diverting the attacks point to Ashes left. With chakra on his arms to increase momentum of the spin he then delivered a blinding fast tornado like slash to the boys left side easily getting around his guard.
