I am just a shadow, following my master's command. The Hitomi clone walked through the busy streets holding quite a long list of missions that needed to be done by the end of the day, as per it's master's intstructions. Her eyes landed on the first one of the list before turning a streets corner and arriving to the disheveled house of a civilian family. After knocking, a brown-eyed man cracked the door open and opened it further when he noticed that she was a shinobi that was there to help him. He took a while to explain the situation, with the clone carefully taking note of the important details he mentioned. "And you see, this is how my small son was kidnapped. We have nothing now. Please help us!" The clone's eyes softened, and she gave an encouraging smile. "Don't worry, I'll find your son in no time at all. With the information you have given me, I'm already starting to suspect a group who has done this before. Don't worry, I'll bring your son back safe!" With that, the clone left his home and took to the roofs. Of course, she already knew who had done this, the same person who had attempted to kidnap a child some time ago and hadn't been caught. The clone bounded through the streets before arriving at a decrepit building after a while. 'So this is where the kidnapper really resides?' She stepped inside, careful not to make any noise, and sneaked around, searching for any signs of a struggle. After a bit of time, she finally arrived to a locked room and used chakra to break the lock. When she opened the door, she found a small boy tied with rope and unconscious. She angrily bit her lip and immediately grabbed the boy, untied him, and ran out. When she was about to leave, a kunai clumsily whirled past her head and clanked to the floor. 'He's definitely not a ninja of high rank.' The clone set the boy down before coming face to face with the kidnapper, a regular looking man. "Whaddya think your doin', goin' away with the money!" With an angry growl, the man ran towards her. The clone sighed before using her advanced speed to reappear behind him and knock him unconscious. The clone then left with the boy in arms and returned him to his family, to their relief. She then went back to the building and gave the man to some Anbu to take care of him. 'But judging by how things went, he has an accomplice...Ugh.' Investigate Crime Scene: Felony | Complete
The clone slowly went around a portion of the village, taking in sightings and reports of the villagers and ninja of the kidnappers that have been active lately. After a while, she concluded that the kidnapper had only one accomplice, and they were stealing children to sell them as slaves for money. It disgusted her, and she wanted to catch the other man all the more badly. The clone took to the roofs and followed all the trails she had gained. Most of them were dead ends, but one in particular proved to be successful. She followed the trail and tailed a few suspicious-looking people until her sharp eyes landed on a beady-eyed man who had the nervous tick of constantly rubbing his hands together. She narrowed her eyes and continued to follow him. As expected, the man headed to the decrepit building from before. Once he opened the door and stepped inside, the clone swooped in and closed the door behind her so he wouldn't run. When the man turned around with a gasp, the clone angrily punched him and knocked him out. She wanted to kill him right then and there for his crimes and selfishness, but her sense of justice prevailed and she turned him to some Anbu, making sure to tell them of his connection to the other kidnapper before going to complete some more missions. Investigate Crime Scene: Felony | Complete
The Hitomi clone glanced to the next item on her list before arriving to the client's house and knocking on the door. An elderly woman with blonde hair answered and allowed her to step inside. She then went on to explain how, when, and where her purse got stolen. The Hitomi clone listened carefully and took mental notes before leaving with a sigh to catch yet another culprit. Investigate Crime Scene: Petty 1/6
The Hitomi clone continued to search throughout the streets the woman had directed, and trailed her steps carefully. Of course the thief would probably be long gone by now, so she traveled to further parts of the village and observed people carefully to see who looked suspicious or fearful, or even guilty. Investigate Crime Scene: Petty 2/6
Having traveled around in circles for quite a while and with no leads whatsoever, the clone was beginning to grow discouraged. It was about this time when she begin to carefully examine each individual that caught her well-trained eyes. The clone asked questions to those who had had their possessions stolen before. Investigate Crime Scene: Petty 3/6
Bit by bit, she was slowly gathering enough information to create a lead, even if it was a bit far-fetched or wasn't well pieced-together. The clone continued with her surveillance of her surroundings and inquiries before familiar movement caught her eye. Ah, so she was being trailed? With a slight turn of her head, the clone was able to make ten different observations of her follower. Investigate Crime Scene: Petty 4/6
One, if he was a ninja, he must've been of Genin rank or lower. Two, he was no older than 30. And three, Hitomi didn't like the color of his dyed green hair. With a 'tch', the girl continued to walk as if nothing had happened, but this time was careful where she walked and headed to. She tried to see why he was following her, and after a while concluded that he was the thief and was seeing if she would find him or not. Investigate Crime Scene: Petty 5/6
As the clone walked, she placed her hands behind her head in a relaxed position and was careful to walk by another ninja. With a few whispered words as they walked past each other, the other ninja nodded and disappeared. The clone then heard a shout from the green-haired man. She sighed and left it to the other ninja to turn him in. However, she confronted the man and took away the purse he was carrying it before returning it to her client and walking away. Cormac Hill
Rank: Genin Chakra Pool: 275/275 Mood:Eager OOC: Out of Chat ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ╄━Cormac came to the next place. Quietly surveying the streets as he blended in with the crowd. He talked, shouted, laughed, and shared in moments with the people he knew, which was quite a bit of people. But his mind never wandered from the task at hand. His task was constantly on his mind. He knew it would be difficult to find someone here, but his reasoning told him that no one would try something here with all these people unless they were dead confident in themselves or quite powerful. Rather he determined unless they planned to wipe the whole village, this would be the least likely place they would attack. So he kept on, moving from the streets onto the next area.━╄ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
