Hypnos has a calm and soothing air about him. Though not the normal role for a Putti he has taken it upon himself to become an almost guardian, searching the area around the herds lands for those who may be lost in the dark. The lantern her carries with him lights his way and can act as a beacon for those who need to be found. He is very passionate about his job.

Night had always called to Hypnos from the time he was a foal and remained that way as an adult. Some say it might have been his starry pelt that gave him his love of the night while others would say it just simply happened. Either way, Hypnos is most comfortable in the dark. Though his breed is not known for being guards within the herd Hypnos found a similar role that he could fulfill. He would become a guide for those who lost their way at night. With his trusty lantern he patrols the areas around the herds land until morning, searching for any who need to be led back home but also looking out for any dangers that may threaten the herd. Due to his nightly routine Hypnos spends the majority of the day sleeping which means little interaction with the bulk of the herd.

Recently he mustered up the courage to talk to a female in the herd named Okelani. Together they discussed what was happening recently in the herd, a few small groups had split off from the main group and what their futures might hold. It was during this conversation that Hypnos offered to guide Okelani to these smaller groups so that she could offer her healing services to them if needed.
