Midnight's emotions smiled, watching the scene play out, and Love pranced around Midnight, taunting her, but Midnight took no notice of her.

Midnight felt her inner shadows recede, and a smile formed at the corners of her lips. She kissed back, this time not holding back at all.

Frost calmed and went back to normal. She walked to S.M. and hugged him.us "Hey, I know how you feel..."

Dust drew his head back. "Now... Help me help you..." He looked towards Innocence. "What do I have to do?"

Innocence smiled. "Step back. We'll do the rest."

Midnight stood, wiping away the last of her tears.

Dust smiled and did as Innocence asked. He turned his head back to Swift and Frost. "You idiots. I told you I could do it."

Innocence smiled and walked to Midnight, and then held her index finger up. It started to glow. "Be strong, Noctus..." Innocence said, placing her finger on Midnight's forehead and drawing a circle of light with a heart inside. A blinding light flashed, and suddenly Midnight was back to normal and all the emotions were gone. Midnight staggered, feeling dizzy. "Nyaaaa..." She fainted and fell backwards.

Dust sat down next to Midnight. "Simplicity." He said, a smile on his face and his hand on his bicep. "I told you I could fix her. You never listen to me." He was happy not because he fixed her, but because he had succeeded where others have failed. Where Swift, Frost, Spyke, Martini, everyone, had failed, he was able to get her back together.

Little did he know that Martini had done feats like this a hundreds times over and a hundred times again.

Midnight soon came to, sitting up and rubbing her head. "Ow..."

Frost sighed. "Give her 2 days...She'll be right back at it."

Dust's eyes lit up with excitement. "And I'll be there to fix her again and again!"

Midnight looked at Dust in shock. "Y-You...Mean it?"

Dust crossed his arms and looked at Midnight with satisfaction. "Damn straight. The world wouldn't be interesting without people like you around."

Midnight squealed. "AW, YOU SWEET THING!" She hugged him tight, a loud purr rising in her throat.

Dust was surprised at the abrupt hug, falling backwards, catching himself on his forearms and then smiling wide at Frost and Swift. "Besides, the perks aren't bad, either."

Midnight nuzzled Dust's cheek, purring.

Frost rolled her eyes.
