"I can't hear anyone anymore... I see everything though."

Koga looked down to Jae with only one intent, to kill. He was about to place his hand on her head, when he felt something he did not even sense or notice, his insanity not only making him deaf, but blind to the threats now. Smoke exploded out and Koga felt a jab in his back, the Killing Hand's jutsu was immediately stopped and Koga was shoved off from Jae, he tumbled and the pain was still at his back. He fell on his side, and the threads went weak for a moment. Koga was quick though as the next heart took off where the last had stopped. Koga pushed up off the ground and he was about to turn and face his enemies but he was hit again.

The chakra licked his back and Koga was thrown forwards he slammed onto his stomach, all the masked on his back were cracked and broken, but were still holding. Koga's head hit the ground hard and his mind went blank for a moment. His drug lashed out with one last glimpse of power. "OWWWWWAAAAAAH!!!!!!" Koga roared out and still could not hear anything, his eyes were bloodshot and his body was beginning to split apart as he turned and faced Inka. "DEEEESAAAAAAAAAAAAAATH-ckth!" Koga was caught off guard as two giant fists came into contact with him..

'Oh yes... There were three..'

The last thought's that went through the monsters mind, as the fist's hit him from his left side, his body was so weak already and his chakra so low, that the masks on his back were perpendicular to the fists and force's direction. Like dropping a plate on the ground, the masks shattered and Koga was thrown by the large fists attack across the opening and into the side of the Shrine. He hit on his right and his threads hit and he stuck to the wall for a moment. if the hit had not killed him, slamming into the wall did.

Was Koga still alive? No. The monster had finally been killed, he began to slowly slide down the side of the wall and then hit the ground with a thud. The monster reign of terror was over, and now he would be able to meet his sister once more, in the underworld.

Inka tensed, body hunching, lips pulling apart into a viscious snarl as he growled back at Koga. Red eyes watched as the man was interrupted, thrown by Takashi's fists once more into the Shrine. Inka huffed, snarl sliding off his face as he approached the shrine, stepping around Jae. He wondered over to Koga, the bullroarer in his hand still, no sound emitting from the instrument and little more from his steps. Crawling carefuly through the shattered opening, he stood and suddenly threw the weapon, silent in its forward motion, at the enemy. The weapon lodged itself into Koga's neck and, at the lack of response, Inka slowly tugged it free. Leaving the weapon lying close to Koga's prone body, the rope still in his hand, red eyes surveyed the inside of the building for the first time.

"... no..." He whispered, voice strained, as his eyes took in the bodies of men he knew. "Gods, no..." Inka gritted his teeth tightly shut, the earlier adrenalin still surging through him, turning to anger as he took in Koga once more. Spotting his dagger still in the man's back he began racing forward, his legs pumping in a fast, crazed walk. Stepping over and on tendrils with little care, before finally reaching the body and slamming his foot down on the dagger, embedding it further into the man's back. Inka thought he heard snapping, crunching, but he didn't care. He'd lost good men - men who had helped him through rough times, a sanctuary without whispers, rumours, or judgement. He pushed his foot harder on the pummel of the weapon, pushing it slowly ever deeper. Inka was growling, low, and his body shook from conflicting emotions. He wanted to scream and just... crash everything - smash it to pieces... he wanted to cry. "..."

Inka removed his foot, collapsing to one knee before taking hold of the dagger and placing a hand on Koga's back. Pulling the weapon free was a small fight in itself, having been lodged so deeply. But once it was in his hands he just wanted to delve it back in. Inka clicked his tongue and holstered the weapon, uncaring of the blood on his hands, before taking a kunai and Koga's mop of hair. The Chuunin paused, breathing shallow and harsh, heart hammering. "Gods..." He hissed, slamming the kunai into the back of Koga's neck with a powered thunk, braking vertebrea, before taking the blade and began hacking the flesh.

Even with a sharp blade the action was long nd tedious, doing almost nothing to ease the pain in Inka's heart and mind. However, when finished, he stood, the head in a make-shift bag from the prisoner's clothes. Inka stepped out of the shrine, nose wrinkled, close-lipped snarl in place, and a savage aura still around him. Ignoring the other two he turned to leave for Syy's office, the proof of their 'success' in his right hand, the now dull kunai still in his other hand, blood covering both and the front of his robe.

If I could hold back the rain, would you numb the pain?
'Cause I remember everything.
If I could help you forget, would you take my regrets?
'Cause I remember everything.

'Yeah that's right.' Takeshi thought breathing heavy that exchange had taken a good deal out of him, he needed to train more also he was hungry now too. He kept his fists the same size for a bit picking up as many bodies as he could into a pile, including Koga's. Might as well make the clean up easier for later, even if he was a monster and if that wasn't part of their original mission objective. Takeshi looked at Inka, somehow he seemed displeased to say the least. He didn't bother asking about it, best to just get to the Kage's office and finish this mission.

The anbu swarmed the area at the Mizukage's orders, gathering bodies and blasting away at blood stains with jutsu. Soon, the entire area was cleaned of the blood and gore of the battle though the wounds to the shrine remained.

Inka transported himself back to the shrine, red eyes gazing over it sadly. Anger and pain still radiated off of him - his clothes smeared with blood, and his hands drenched in it.

A soft bell rung in the shrine as the monks returned, slowly moving through the shrine to begin the cleansing. Water was gently poured over stone as they walked, some breaking off to work on their own while the main group continued through the proper. One monk noticed Inka and broke away, carrying the small bucket of water with him, a cloth in hand "May I?" he asked calmly, motioning to Inka's hands.

Inka's eyes fluttered at the ring of the bell, a moment of recalled peace coming over him. He started, having lost himself and not sensing the monk's approach. "... please." He whispered, presenting his hands. He jolted, holster ing the blunt kunai before offering his hands once more.

The monk set the bucket down and dipped the cloth in it, soaking it and gently beginning to wipe at the blood. He cleaned in small circles, wiping the tops of Inka's hands first "It is sad that such violence has been the mark of our Mizukage's rule. So much pain has come recently." he murmured, looking sad as the blood began to stain the cloth. He bent and began to soak the rag again "But this...this violence was so sad. So much was lost. Perhaps, though, something has been gained from it as well." he turned one of Inka's hands over and began wiping the palm clean.

Inka was silent for a time, the anger being washed away as slowly as the blood. "... What good there is... I'm blind to see it." He rumbled. Red eyes watched his hands, posture still stiff.

The monk didn't stop his slow cleansing of the blood, letting one clean hand fall "The good is there. Its hidden, like your skin, under the blood and pain of these events right now." he said softly, bending to rinse the rag again though it was starting to turn pink "It is hard to see somethings through the fog that clouds our minds and our actions. While it will clear eventually, you can not hold onto them. To remain in the past is to live trapped in your mistakes." he held Inka's palm up for him to see, the skin clean "Leave your past behind so you can see the good in the future."

Inka's face twisted, a pained snarl appearing. "I've been visiting this Shrine for near 5 years to let go of the past. I'm too weak. It's consumed too much of me, monk." He admitted. "I've cleaned and cleansed, begged and prayed..." Inka faltered, stopping.

The monk nodded, releasing Inka's hands and putting the rag back in the water "Maybe you aren't willing to let go then." he said softly, folding his hands in front of him "If you are doing everything that you can to forget, you are focusing on it. Letting go of the past requires you to let go." he tilted his head a bit "Are you afraid to let go?"

Inka hesitated. "... I don't know." He admitted. "It's too much to think about. So I bury it. Only I've realized the mound gets bigger each time I look at it." Inka shook his head and wrung his hands together. "... I don't deserve to forget..."

He smiled at Inka "Forgetting is not what you need, sir. Accepting that what has happened has happened is. To do that will open your mind and give you a different perspective of the events." he nodded to himself and knelt, picking up the bucket and walking to an open part of the shrine. Going to his knees, he let the water run into the grass, tapping the bucket to remove the rest of the water "Like this bucket was filled with your stain, diluted but there. To let it go and rinse it clean will help you take in the better memories. To see that life is not about being forgiven and forgiving. It is about moving forward through adversity and pain, to keep pushing for that resonating truth." standing and turning back, he tipped the bucket so Inka could see into the empty bottom, clean of all but the barest collection of water "Let the mound lay. There is no need to add to it. Clear the ground of your heart and allow new growth to rise. You are the support for someone...you know who. Allow them to help you grow that new ground. And do the same." he bowed to Inka, preparing to move on unless Inka needed to talk more.

Inka sighed, eyes on his hands still. "... I've heard this before..." He whispered to himself but made no motion of wishing to continue his talk with the monk. He pondered, debating himself and his actions, recent and past. His never... 'spoken' of it, per say. He didn't want to unbury it. He wanted it gone. But... He didn't want it either. Punishment - that's what he deserved, isn't it? But hasn't he punished himself enough? He couldn't decide... He didn't feel like he had a right to.
