There was something in the strange woman's presence, the way she spoke of familiarity with what he was supposed to be, that made Rand rather unnerved in her presence. That she had refused to respond to his question was enough to make him forget any chance of asking her out, at least for the moment. He sighed to himself before he answered her question. "It could be something about us wielding Fire...Or we just like to fight too much. Either way."

"My cousin. She likes to hide from me when she comes to visit." Then Shechina heard the voice again; this time, telling her where to go and to bring the Earth mage she was talking to. "Okay, now this is getting weird," she muttered.

She then responds to the emotions she could feel radiating from the boy, "You'll eventually get used to the uneasiness I seem to cause most humans. Where is your room?" She could have picked the answer from his mind, but that required more time and patience than she currently felt like using especially when it was faster to ask him. “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving...

"It's upstairs on the third floor, fourth room to the right..." Normally at the question pertaining to his bedroom asked by a beautiful woman Rand would have made some form of pass or innuendo. Even then his lips curved into an inviting smile, his hands itching to take the Huntress by the hand to lead her personally. But he knew that such a mistake could well prove fatal. He could feel the raw power rising from her now, his senses alerting him to a presence he hadn't believed possible. There was no way she could be a living legend...could she?

Shechina nodded. "Yeah. I'm a Spirit mage, so I can often hear a person's thoughts if they've enough volume. And I just heard a voice telling me to go to an inn three streets down called 'King's Bounty' and bring you with me." She frowned, then she realized something she hadn't before. "Wait, the voice said the 'Earth Guardian.' Are you the Earth Guardian?" she asked Leigh-Ann.

Leigh Ann's eyes widened and she nodded before she found the voice to respond, "I am. But how could... whoever is talking to you know that?"

Shechina gulped, her throat suddenly dry. "I don't know, but whoever it is must be pretty powerful to be able to tell what type of mages we are and who we are." She shook her head, then looked at the girl in front of her with a sheepish smile. "I just realized I never introduced myself. I'm Shechina Spyradoula. The Spirit Guardian. You might as well know that since I know you're the Earth Guardian now, huh?"

Shechina smiled, then winced as the voice in her head started yelling at her. "Sounds like whoever's thinking at me is getting impatient. Maybe we should go." She started off down the street, beckoning for Leigh-Ann to follow her.
