Allannia held him closer, "Its still not your fault, he was the one who decided this, not you" she whispered to him, feeling him in her arms made her feel an impulse to do something she never thought to do. Because she was not used to dealing with impulses, she followed it, lifting his chin up so he could see her, hesitating for only a second she leaned in and kissed him. Afterwards she quickly backed up surprised at what she had just done, her cheeks turned red as she blushed.

“W-what are y-?!” Shayde started only to feel his words cut off from Allannia's lips against his after she'd lifted his chin up to look up at her. His only response was a blink while still having that lingering warm feeling on his lips that were starting to cool down. He didn't know how to respond to that. It was easier to just say he was in shock, but he wasn't even sure if he could even call it that anymore.

He could hear a slight whirring sound from his artificial eye in his head and it clicked that his eye had either fried itself when she kissed him or his mind had shut it down when it'd blanked out. “Oh my god... That was... Unexpected...” he finally mumbled lightly as his eye started showing the room again, the tears having stopped completely. He was too embarrassed to state that was his first kiss, but seemed to have forgotten about the thing from his dreams. He wasn't sure what had brought that on, but it calmed him from his fears.

Allannia was silent for a short bit, "I'm sorry...I have...never done that before" she said as she continued to blush, barely looking at him out of her own embarrassment. She didn't know what she should do, she wanted to go back to having him in her arms, but she wasn't understanding why she was feeling like this, she held herself as she stood there confused.

Shayde opened his mouth for a second only to close it again. After a few more awkwardly silent seconds, he slid a bit closer to the female and wrapped his arms around her.

“It's alright, Allannia. It just surprised me, but it helped me stop shaking like a child,” he murmured lightly while ignoring his own blush growing on his face. “It's perfectly fine. If you'd like to, we can just forget it happened... Not that I really want to... It was a pretty decent kiss for a first kiss. B-but if you want to, we can completely forget about it.”

Now he felt retarded for rambling...

Allannia leaned into him, resting her head onto his chest, "I, I don't think I want to forget, I don't understand it, but you are the only one who seems to be able to allow me to be open and get close to someone" she said in a low voice. She had never before been this close with anyone, the only other person she had been close with was her mother, but that had ended with the day she had died, leaving her parent-less from the age of 14.

Allannia slowly looked up at Shayde, "How would you make me feel safe?" she asked him as she stood there, her tail wrapped around her legs, her wings folded in close to her. She almost looked like a small child who was alone with no one to be there for her, she felt so vulnerable now that she seemed to open herself up to him even more.

He wasn't good with expressing how he'd do things through words. “Living isn't thinking. It's action.”

Allannia watched Shayde closely, she then looked down at the ground, "And why would a dragon's opinion mean anything to you, yes you say another lived here and was a friend to you, but how often did you truly listen to his opinion?" she asked him as she no longer looked at him. She was afraid of becoming open, of letting someone into her thawing heart, 'I need to stop this, my father was a fool to fall for a human, I cannot let his mistake become my own' she thought to herself as she tried to stop what she was feeling.

You can think of me as a cowardly liar if you want. It's your opinion and you're entitled to an opinion,” he answered calmly before gently patting her on the head and moving towards the exit, his gaze focused on the ceiling as if he could see through the stone ceiling above them. There had been no signs since that slight noise earlier of his old enemy still being around so they might be able to leave soon.
Glancing back at Allannia, he pointed at the door overhead with a look in his eye that showed he still feared what would happen if they left yet showed a caring side to him. “I'm gonna check it out and then give you a sign that it's all clear if it is.”

Allannia looked at him, her eyes filled with worry as she realized she was moving towards him, wrapping her arms around him, "Please be careful" she asked him. In her mind she knew she was just following what she felt, but it confused her more then ever as to why she felt like this towards him in the first place.

xXxGiving a slight nod he gently used his human arm to give her a hug. “I'll be as careful as I possibly can. I'm sorry again, Allannia, for dragging you into this,” he stated softly before climbing the ladder and opening the hatch into the world above them. On the inside he was freaking while on the outside, he just trembled slightly every once in a while. Examining the ground, it hadn't seemed to have followed them out here.
Taking to the sky, he didn't see anything there nor signs of it having been there. So it didn't follow them? “It's clear...” he murmured as he poked his head back into the hole, his eyes showing a hint of confusion. Was he just being a schizophrenic psycho? She heard it too, right? He wasn't just making it up... Was he? It was still alive. It had to be. Why else would he have been this terrified?

Allannia followed up the ladder once everything was clear, she began to head back to the cave when she suddenly collapsed to the ground, her body was covered in sweat, she was shivering badly as she lay there, a small almost unnoticeable scratch was on her shoulder. Her breath was heavy, shallow, and quick, her skin a sickly pale, "S-shayde?.....she called out to him knowing immediately something was wrong with her.

xXx“I'm here. I'm here,” Shayde responded as soothingly as he could before picking Allannia up. Giving a shrill whistle, the large dog demon ran up cheerfully and Shayde jumped up on his back while still keeping Allannia close to him. “Pluto, to the hospital. Allannia, did you get hurt by whatever that thing from my past is?”
The large dog barked before taking off at a sprint towards where the hospital was on the island.
