[Migrated] Pokemon - Soaring Legends

Shiro nodded seeing the Pidgeotto, while he had trained his own to be a powerful strong and motherly Pidgeot, Shiro couldn't help but reminisce about it a bit before picking a pokeball at the moment and flicking the ball into it's full size with a press of a button "come on out, Yomimaru!" he called, before tossing the ball out onto the field, releasing his Axew into battle as he grinned a bit lightly "let's make this a good one Yomi... start off with Dragon Pulse!"

Axew gave off a cry of "you got it!" before charging up a turquoise ball of energy and firing it off at Pidgeotto, apparently while Axew was of lower power clearly than Shiro's pokemon should be, obviously a sign of recently trained, the Dragon Pulse didn't look outrageously strong, perfect for a gym battle to not be dominated with one attack thankfully.

Shiro frowned seeing gust, but he glanced to Yomi to see the little dragon readying itself "you sure? alright.. Yomi, use the Gust for cover, and ready yourself!" Axew nodded, and dove into the gust tornado, takign some damage, but in actuality it was using the cover to start boosting itself up by using Hone Claws a few times, about three, before Shiro felt things out "now, Night Slash!" he called next, a much larger than normal black crescent wave shot out from the gust to head for Pidgeotto while also showing the slightly damaged Yomi who was smirking a bit "try and handle -that- ya featherhead." the mini-dragon mumbled to himself, while moving to run back closer towards Shiro in the meantime, to do a few more Hone claws to try and max it's power out.

Yomi of course just flinched when he saw Noctowl show up, of course, he was a bit tired from the gust, but Shiro called out "Endure it then Dragon Rage!" the dragon nodded, granted, it wasn't going to last much longer after that confusion hit, but the endure managed to keep Axew standing at least, and unleashed a gout of green flames to aim for the Noctowl while it stumbled a bit more, definitely one last -hurrah- of sorts.

Shiro winced when he saw Sky-attack sending Yomi flying in the air, though he did quickly bring out the Axew's pokéball given everyone saw the Axew was clearly out of the fight "you did well Yomi, I'm proud of you.. return!" he then recalled the dragon, before idly moving his fingers over his belt, where his team was, lightly pondering his next choice while everything got settled "Yukihara, bring forth the Frozen north winds!" he called, unleashing a snow-white snowflake patterned pokéball, to reveal a small little polar-bear looking Pokemon.. with apparently a snot-sickle. this was a Cubchoo, one of his few Ice Pokemon in particular.

Shiro took a calm breath, actually feeling he was doing well if he managed to take out one of Faulkner's Pokémon straight off as he nodded "Yuki, start things off with Icy Wind!" the polarbear nodded before moving to stand "you won't stop me, feel the freezer-burn!" she called out, before unleashing gusts of freezing cold winds to pick up and go after Noctowl in quick succession.

Shiro of course frowned a bit lightly while nodding to himself "Yuki, take in the damage, then summon Avalanche!" he called out, causing even his cubchoo to look on in shock at mention of -that- move, before getting lambasted by the Confusion a moment, causing it to stumble around (not confuse status!) before shaking it's head "Dah! okay... if you think it's needed..." the little bear said, before turning round right to Noctowl with the snot-sicle glowing as well as the beady eyes gleaming "go bury yourself in snow you feathered fiend!" before the room began getting -really- cold, and a large waterfall of snow began torrenting down right for Noctowl's flying body, aiming to sweep it up and send it packing in one shot.

Yuki took the beating as best she could, but still the pokemon was barely standing as the little bear winced and shivered a bit. "drat..... Shiro-sama... you might be needing to bring out one of your aces quickly..." she said while the trainer nodded, giving a look of determination before eyeing that Skarmory "right... Yuki, i know you rely more on your ice moves.. but i need you to use Shadow Claw when Skarmory comes close, hone claws until Skarmory comes back for another round!" the cubchoo nodded, and began honing the claws, readying things as they began becoming enveloped in darkness energy, making them a darker black than they normally were and crackling with power.

Yukihara had tried to even -nick- Skarmory, but managed to do nothing, if anything, to the steel bird before being planted firmly into the ground via Drill Peck, and out cold. leaving Shiro sighing as he pulled out Yuki's snow-flake pokeball in particular and recalled the ice pokemon with a small smile "you did your best Yuki-chan.. i'm proud of you." he said, while putting the ball back on his belt, sighing "Skarmory's still as intimidating as usual, that's for sure, eh Faulkner?"

after a few minutes of internal debate Shiro frowned a bit, and just shook his head lightly, he needed to win this gym battle, and it seemed with his hardening eyes he was prepared to use something that is while legal it's still nothing more than a dirty trick, as he grabbed for Nightblade's pokeball. however things wouldn't work out well for shiro when one of his other pokeballs wiggled greatly before getting loose, and rolling out, revealing a black flame painted pokeball, which opened up and released it's contests, namely one Charmander, Black Blaze. "Daddy... i.. i want to help..." the timid charmander said, causing Shiro to stare at black Blaze, while titling his head "Black Blaze... why?" the charmander shook his head before looking up "because.. if it's to help my daddy win.. i'll try my hardest!" this made shiro take a step back, before closing his eyes, and nodding a bit, putting Nightblade's ball back on it's clip "... alright. i must be crazy for this.." he mumbled to himself, before the charmander smacked the Pokeball to land in Shiro's outstretched hand, as the fire pokemon turned around to face it's scary intimidating opponent "Alright Black Blaze.. let's start things off cautiously, Growl! let's lower Skarmory's attack power!" Black blaze nodded, and began letting out pseudo-intimidating growls, though it more made him even cuter-looking in this case.

Black Blaze, while being a minimally trained Pokemon, actually managed to dodge the flrury of Fury attacks while continuing to growl and lower the attack power of Skarmory, apparently showing it was not a charmander that'd be easy to beat despite being just hatched. Shiro had smiled a bit nodding in approval seeing Charmander continue to dodge "alright, Black Blaze! let's try hitting Skarmory point blank with Dragon Pulse!" after a flurry of the fury attack, Black Blaze hopped back using one foot, before opening his mouth and gathering a nice green orb of energy, before firing the Dragon Pulse to launch right for Skarmory's face in general, and cause the usual 'explosion' attacks did in this case, well, it usually does in the anime. very useful for smokescreens.

Shiro glanced over things, while nodding "now, while skarmory's distracted with Dragon Pulse, use Dragon Dance to increase your speed!" the Charmander nodded, and began applying an intricate dance in it's own way, to boost up it's attack power (as a side bonus) and Speed (as the main needed thing) , hoping to get at least a good two or three more levels in speed before Skarmory went on the attack again.
