Arlyn let out a sigh, trying her hardest to stand still as the seamstress and her assistant put the finishing touches on the dress they had been working on for the past three days. Tonight was her eldest brother, the crown prince Aedan's, coming-of-age ball. It was strange that the ball had been delayed so long since Aedan was turning twenty-five, meaning he had come of age ten years before, but if that was what the king ordered, then that was what was done. The seamstress and her assistant finished the dress and helped Arlyn out of it. They would leave the dress in the princess's chambers when they left, but there was no point in her wearing it all day and risking spilling something on it. Again, Arlyn sighed. This time, out of relief. She was getting twitchy after standing still for an hour and a half already. The seamstress and seamstress's assistant bowed as they exited, and Arlyn was again left on her own. Putting on one of the many sheath-like dresses she owned, she sat by her window and picked up her knitting needles to work on a shawl for her brother's wife.

((Tayuya, the king is 43. I think the prince would be a little younger than thirty... Unless this is one of those kingdoms that they start the reproducing at an early age.))

"Well Free, Xavier, you two ready to crash this party tonight or what?" Leon asked excitedly, they had arrived the previous day and all Leon could think about was meeting this princess who had supposedly been locked in a tower. Leon was snapped out of his daydreams by a slap to the head from Free.

"Listen Leon, I know you're excited, but you're still representing our Kingdom out here, if you act like a spaz, people are going to notice. So just this once, try and behave and act dignified like a prince is SUPPOSED to." Free said sternly, he was not much for parties, he'd much rather take a nap or beat the crap out of someone instead of spending a perfectly fine evening dancing and making idle conversation.

(Is the ball exclusive to royalty and nobles? )

Talia has heard of the prince's ball over the course of her stay in the Angin Kingdom. She thought it would be fun to attend it before moving on to the next area/Kingdom. She only wished she brought one of her elegant dresses with her. She didn't bring enough to buy a dress and after the whole tax collector business, she didn't really want to shop for one, wondering what kind of over priced goods there would be in this part of the land. Looks like she had to find a dress somehow as well as possibly sneak onto the guest list if they had one.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys

In his normal place Kyo kept his guard as was the case for being the princesses own personal guard as assigned by the queen he had been given a suit to wear to the ceremony. While he wondered if the king would approve he let the thought shrug from his mind. His allegiance was after all to the kingdom and the princess first the king was some where farther down the list. He wondered tho if taking his sword and shield to such an event would be wise tho his priority was to keep the princess safe without his armor while could move faster he would not be able to use it to block any kind of weapon that might be brandished towards her.

Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

Three days has passed since Shano met Alura, the soldiers haven't appeared.

Shano's business in Angin has been growing quickly these past few days. She decided that she should at least pay Alura for her services for protecting her ( and even helping her growing the herbs). Alura started becoming a role model for Shano, since both of them helped each other to improve their abilities, they are able to control plants now. Having heard of the party a mischevious smile appeared on Shano's lips. Repeating the same thing everyday is boring, Shano wanted to have a little fun. She is going to sneak in and enjoy the luxury the nobles have.

Alessandra quietly rides into Gola, looking around at all the activity. "Is something going on..?", she mumbles to herself, not knowing that it was the crown princes coming of age ceremony today.

Xavier stood next to Free "He right we gotta keep in mind that we are representing the Kingdom Fue and dignified... " he said then looked out the window of the inn they were staying in and looked out down at the street to see people passing by running up and down the street "Looks like everyone is getting ready for the party to happen" he added "We are gonna have to look sharp at this party" he said as he went into his bag and pulled out out a Fue party suit. "Nice huh?" he asked

Shano bought herself a beautifully tailored dress in the rich side of the city of Gola. She was earning money fast, spending a little bit in a nice dress for the party tonight wouldn't hurt. Alura was nowhere to be found, she definitely wouldn't approve of the thought. Plans are forming in Shano's mind, how to get in, have fun, and get out. Maybe she'll get to meet the locked up princess, that would be so cool.

Cat and Lily had hidden in the tower that morning, when the princess had gone back to the tower. Cat was the first to step out when the seamstresses left. Stretching, Cattina sat on the floor. "The dress will look stunning on you." She said quietly. Lily struggled to get out of her hiding place and sat next to Cattina to fix her braids.

Arlyn looked up from her project and set it down on her lap with her hands crossed over it. "Thank you, Cattina," she said with a soft smile. "Please tell me the two of you will attempt to come to the ball tonight. I won't know anybody there aside from my family otherwise."

"Of course we will!" Lily said excitedly. She couldn't wait. For some reason she was super excited. Pinning Cattina's hair into a braid/bun on the top of her head, Aklily smiled as she placed a flower in the twins hair. Of course it wasn't a real flower. Only a paper one that she had crafted very quickly. Cattina rolled her eyes at her twin and nodded in agreement about coming along. "Plus, we are super excited to see our father. Supposedly he will be here... Though we have never met him." Cattina said with a smile.
