Gabby didn't remember Momo having this good of a sense of humor, but he counted himself lucky to have found her, now that he realized it. "Thank you for being so understanding." He chuckled out, grinning rakishly. Efflo's question sounded unhappy, but Gabby assumed it was because he'd just called his boilfriend an a*****e, and not because he was jealous. So of course, he ignored the discontent, and nodded. "Back at Scarentines. One of those blind dates from the booths. That's where I got to know Moriko for the first time. But today's when I'm finding out just how funny she really is." He offered with a wink. Gabby was coming dangerously close to flirting. He had to be stopped.

Efflo gave Gabby a look of disbelief; what was with that smile he was giving her? That wasn’t a normal smile.
His suspicion only got worse as he realized was going to explain it things and not in a ‘oh, no let me ease your worries’ kind of way. The steam could practically be seen rising from the boil’s ears as the dragon went on. But then, a light bulb clicked on in Efflo’s head when Gabby mentioned blind dates. Did he mean speed dating? Efflo had gone on one of those dates, and it had been a disaster. He could only hope Gabby’s had gone the same way. At the very least, fifteen minutes wasn’t a very much time, and he relaxed a little by convincing himself that nothing important could have happened.
Then came the wink, and Efflo boiled over. He grabbed his boilfriend by the ear, and marched him furiously away from the group.
“Sorry,” he called hastily back to Moriko and the other boil, “But we have to go.”

Nahm let himself be dragged by Jove; he put an arm around Shine's shoulders, just to make sure the ghoul didn't fall down, and also possibly because her being so wobbly on her feet was a really fine excuse to get her pressed right up against his side. This was going well already. He had arm candy and he'd made Zar blush. Absolutely delightful. His smug satisfaction at the situation didn't stop him from paying attention to where they were going, though. The circle of trees was the stuff of legends, and the grue mentally marked the locations of other holidays, just in case the information would be useful someday. The trip between worlds was disorienting, but once again, when it ended, they were in the night air of the human world. He inhaled deeply. "Ahhhh, smells like delicious snacks." It made him think of the human scareling on Halloween night, though, and his face went unexpectedly serious. The boil had been terrified but weirdly resigned, and the problem of just what exactly had happened to the scareling's sister had nagged at Nahm from time to time. Finding that humans had families shouldn't have been a surprise, but somehow it had.

Being touched was always a nice thing, but Shine was particularly happy to have Nahm's hands helping her up. She didn't feel quite so wobbly as long as she was holding onto him, and it got easier to actually move the more she practiced with his help. It didn't take long for her to get the hang of things, but she didn't really want to let go, either; maybe he needed someone to hold onto. If he wanted it, it wasn't imposing, right? "Nahm," she began, a hint of amusement in her voice. "You...can't eat me." Pausing, she appeared to be thinking about it for a moment before slowly checking to be sure. "...right?" She was distracted by her curiosity as someone grabbed her hand - a small someone! A very uncharacteristically girly noise escaped her, and she squeezed his hand in greeting. The small someone seemed very interested in making sure they got to where they needed to be, so she followed where she was guided between the two of them, concentrating hard on ensuring that she took each step properly and didn't do something that would end up yanking them all to the ground.

When her feet were finally on solid ground, the ghoul let out a sigh of relief. The darkness didn't bother her. It was the smell. The smell of the human world.
Reluctantly she left the open grave and peered around. Dead silence, save the students chatter. Riyo remembered the first time she had been here. How the smell of pine offset the imminent danger they'd all been in. And all of it began as a normal field trip just like this. At least the thoughts of suffering had temporarily muted her disturbed feelings towards the cat boil.
The demoness decided to perch on one of the deteriorated graves, still tugging her skirt down as she attempted to sit. She looked awkward. Very, very awkward.

Sibyl had taken her shoes off and thrown them, only for them to appear on her feet again. She whined quietly and stood again after two failed attempts at this, wobbling on the weird heels. She took a step, and then another. They just felt so weird! There was no give to them, and the heel was so much more narrow than anything she was used to. She'd noticed Gabby and Efflo wander off to chat with another ghoul and so this seemed like a good time to figure these things out, she didn't want to hold everyone back because of a sore ankle and weird shoes she couldn't keep her balance in. She held both arms out on either side of her and walked like she going along a balance beam. One step at a time, Sibyl.

... death? Ok, she SO did not sign up to die, but she was a smart ghoul, so if she ended up dying, it would be totally someone else's fault. ... wait, since they were masquerading as humans... did that mean if they died... they wouldn't reform? She shuddered slightly, but pushed the thought to the back of her head, listening to Selene with mild interest as her Uncle had already told her snippets from what he observed during his scare trips. Though when the professor exclaimed about death, she couldn't help but jump, and noticed that they had arrived at... wherever they were supposed to arrive.
Giving the other trees a curious look-over, her attention finally fell on the one Selene pointed out, and frowned. Yeesh, what a sad-looking tree. She always thought the human world was a wondrous place and oh. At least the door looked kinda interesting. Was that winged figure a-
"Please walk in an orderly fashion through this door, and do not go any further once you've arrived. I repeat, do NOT go any further!"
She eyed the door with trepidation, and letting out a sigh, stepped in. What she HADN'T been expecting was to plummet into nothingness, and she let out a cry as she felt herself falling, darkness surrounding her. After what seemed like an eternity, she finally tumbled out into some strange open field with what looked like... strange stone markers... Oh! This was... she remembered her uncle telling her something about this kind of place... something called... a cemetery? A place where dead humans were bur-
Quickly getting up, she grimaced and began dusting herself off. Ugh, UGH, this trip was already turning into a disaster.

He didn't get to argue with Andrew much more at that point. How sad. He would have pointed out that, while he had a basic idea, the information wasn't exactly thrown out freely. So instead he merely turned after offering a glare and followed as the teacher called them along. He didn't mind that, apparently, Olivia liked the idea of holding hands as they went. So didn't really protest and merely listened as the teacher spoke along the way.
Interesting bits and pieces, too bad most of it was lost. Though some he'd heard before. Humans were just peculiar things. Though they had similar habits when it came to pets, he'd managed to hear that much. Which did please him a bit. He glanced around the clearing as they arrived before musing a bit at the doors. Curious. And the one they were using looked... fairly pathetic. "Well... I can at least make sure it's safe for you." Not Andrew of course.
That boil could go drown for as much as he cared. However, he would ensure it wasn't a giant trap for Olivia. So after carefully freeing her hand and a gentle pat on the head he slowly stepped through the door. Which was a unique experience of it's own. It felt a bit like floating as he walked through, and almost as soon as it began he found himself in a graveyard. Night graced the skies, as the teacher had mentioned, and the other students all seemed as lost and disoriented as he felt.
He looked about curious before deciding it was safe enough and moving to one side to wait for the other two to show. In the meantime he could adjust a few strands of hair that were out of place and enjoy the fact it was nice and cool here.
...here came more whining about being cold from Andrew. HAH.Chirigami ONWARD! He awaits you coming with.

He managed to get himself together after he had found himself in a new place. Akubi didn't recall passing out but he did recall being on the ground which made him simply stand up and dust himself off. The boil glanced to see if Poke was in one piece before he wandered over toward where Riyo decided to perch.
"Looking a little unsettled." Akubi observed. "Anything I can do to make it better?"

“Oh…” he was having problems remembering her face. Maybe they had met and he just couldn’t recognize her as a human. But then again it had been a while ago. Oh they were going? Andrew disentangled himself from the ghoul and walked with the group, shivering as he did. He still couldn’t get warm but he didn’t feel as devastatingly cold as before. Walking seemed to help. He wanted to pull his wings up to his shoulders to use as a blanket or to pull his tail up to use as a heat source. Neither task was accomplishable at the moment, so he settled with walking with his arms crossed. He tried to listen to the teacher but she… was not talking loud enough. He gave up listening after a while. Moriko vanished ahead. Andrew frowned at the tree when suddenly someone Olivia grabbed his hand. He turned and glanced at the ghoul and blushed. If he still had his fire, he it would have flared and possibly heated his body up. As it was the heat he had left rushed all into his face, and he turned a few shades of pink as he squeezed her hand back. He’d like… to keep the pins a while now. Even if they were awkward and human hands were so odd and not even clawed properly and there was little to no heat in them. At least it was like… like being silver somehow. Everyone was plain and the same. And he could be near people without all the hassle of keeping his flames properly away. Normally he wouldn’t care but, this made it worth the trouble. Still he gave Molan a small glare and let him go first before tugging Olivia forward. “Onward, to the next adventure.” He gave her a small smile. Humans should be, interesting. Maybe they would even get to see one. The crypt was cold, that sucked. And it was pretty dark on the other side. Where was that sun thing? No they came at night. He tried to pull his tail forward for a little light before realizing that no he couldn’t do that. Jack it was cold and dark and he really wished he could just take his pin off. He stepped away from the crypt his hand still tangled with Olivia’s and watched the student chaos on the other side, waiting for this eyes to adjust.

Following the professor and the group, Jericho wasn't really sure what to make of some of the facts she was rattling off. They were... interesting, he supposed. Granted, it was just a few months ago where he felt Christmas was super important as well. Before well... he turned back into a dragon.
He looked over his hands idly once more, then stopped as they came upon a peculiar door. So this was the way they got to the human world? That was a little strange actually. Taking in a deep breath, he stepped in. Or... was it falling in? It felt like he was falling, but rather than crashing onto dirt, he was just sort of spit out of the ground.
Oddly enough.
A little disoriented from that, he looked up and around. It looked like they were in a cemetery of sorts, which didn't seem too different from the norm. So far.

Molan had let go of her hand! QQ It was a nice gesture to go on ahead of them to check the surrounding on the other side of the door, but the little ghoul had been so set to go through the portal together once she had clasped hands with both of the boils - even if it was a rather tight squeeze.
Still, at least they would be going to the same destination. So, Olivia gave Andrew one last earnest smile (his cheeks were rather red, had he finally gotten to his normal temperature?) as he pulled the pair of them forward and through the tree.
The sensation was familiar, even though she had really only gone through a tree once before but it was enough to not be taken off guard by the murky blackness and the empty nothingness that was the door itself. Before ground came up and Olivia found herself only a few inches from it. As graceful as probably some of the others hand been, the ghoul seemed to have not, landing with a stumble and to her knees.
"Oh, it feels nice here," she commented as she pulled herself back up with the aid of Andrew's added weight - thankfully her tumble nothing too serious and that he wouldn't mind as she tugged on him to help herself to her feet.
There was a coolness in the air, brushing itself against her human skin and it felt oh so nice to her. With her free hand, she got to dusting herself off in a haphazard manner, too distracted by the sights her blue eyes were taking in all around her. "Neat..." she breathed out, looking at all the weird cement blocks sticking out of the ground. Some were even in interesting shapes, with statues to boot.
Already she was glad she came and she tugged on Andrew's hand once more to rejoin the rest of the group.

Molan was still sort of admiring his surroundings curiously as the two appeared. Stones everywhere, clouds above. Isn't that that different? It reminded him a bit of... was it the ghost dorms? Or perhaps the undead. Eh, it didn't matter. "Peculiar... plac-" He paused as he watched Olivia tumble through with less grace than one would hope. Something about portals... and her falling. It felt a bit familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Instead he merely watched as she got helped from Andrew with getting up, obviously a bit displeased. That was sort of his job.
Or so he'd thought.
"You're fine?" He inquired, stepping over toward the pair as they sort of wandered toward the large gathering of boils and ghouls that were their peers. Though he had to agree with her sentiment. A rather lovely place. He quite liked the current weather. Almost closer to what he was used to. "It's quite comfortable." Despite what Andrew might say in contrary. Then his gaze fell back to the distance, trying to make out where they might have been. "Do you suppose... we're to interact with them?" Humans of course. He couldn't see any. But they'd been made to look similar to them. It made him wonder. They were meant to learn to gather fear right? But they looked human, so how was that scary? Was it to learn what their fears were to better make use of it?
Was it a study from afar?
If so... he kind of imagined they'd stick out. Seeing as how they were a rather large group of people, and well... he'd heard that white hair wasn't normal for humans? He imagined some of the other students stood out in similarly odd ways. Even when they didn't have ears, tails, horns, wings, and well... everything else.

A sudden memory of the first time he had ever seen Olivia, in that dream flashed across Andrew’s mind. She was alright, but he checked her over again anyway, looking at where the bump from before was. She didn’t have a concussion that much was clear. “Are you ok?” he gave her a look that might have been concern. Once he affirmed that she was indeed ok. (He has somehow managed to not stumble this portal ride.) he glanced around. “Well there aren’t any cows this time. And no casino either.” The comment might seem a bit odd, considering Olivia didn’t remember but his mind, was in another place just for a moment. He sounded a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a casino. “Oh jingle bells, if we just act natural and don’t try to scare them, they will probably just think we are human. If you get ask questions just say you are from out of town.” It worked last time in Thanksgiving. Andrew was feeling a bit of excitement. He didn’t even complain about the cold, his heart was racing just enough to make him feel excited. They were on a field trip in the human world! Being a demon it was a bit more dangerous than normal. Did these humans have weapons too? Or was that only the ones on patrol in the haunted house? He assumed not because they didn’t have weapons. His hand tightened around Olivia’s in excitement, he felt just like a scareling in a candy store.
