RP response: With her side stinging Coral decides to step out of the battle for a few minutes. She needs to cool her anger and catch her breath. She is making bad battle decisions and her help right now will only hinder the mer. She will join the fight but first she needs a quick rest. Coral try's to gather her thoughts and prepare for the next stage of battle.

RP response: Shaking his head to clear the last of the fog from being dazed he noticed the Kraken's maw fast approaching! He quickly moved but felt a searing pain on his side towards his rear. He apparently wasn't fast enough to avoid the Kraken completely.

RP response: In his fury at the death of a comrade Jack's blows became sloppy. He made to strike but missed and ended up overcompensating, slamming himself against the Kraken to his own harm. He cursed and shook it off preparing himself for another attack.

RP response: The Kraken furious that his meal had escaped flung a tentacle at Kurone. It ended up sweeping him far away from the battlefield. Kurone took a moment to catch his breath before swimming back. It took a while to get back and a lot of work.

RP response: Harming himself had served to clear Jack's head of his reckless strikes. He found himself locking eyes with another villager. Together they made to strike at the Kraken. A successful hit! But it was still to early for celebration.

RP response: Jack became so excited by his former success that he struck without thought to his own safety. This led to another overcompensation and he managed to fling himself against the Kraken's defenses with the result of causing harm to himself rather than his foe.

RP response: Jack swam back in and went for what he saw as an opening. But the Kraken noticed him and cut him off. He made a strike but missed. He had to make a quick maneuver to dodge but not before he got an eyeful of the great creature's yawning maw. A shudder of terror shot through his body as he realized how close he had come to that.
