Eventhough I'm pretty sure it's not limited to just one girl and boy prefect for each year.
but if james is prefect 6th year then it all works out, right?
Does it really matter? If James was a prefect ti would make sense why he was allowed to go to so many places. Even w/o the invisiblity cloak.
Well... they had the Marauders' map, that's why. Fred and George weren't Prefects, so we can assume that it's just because they're smart. They're called Maraders for a reason, really. It's really not a big deal being a Prefect, it's not like you actually get to do so many more amazing things anyways. And, I mean, if being a Prefect is such a big deal to you, you can PM Wood and Comfy and clear it with them. However, I think we're trying to stick to canon as much as possible, and, since Rowling didn't specifically say that James was a Prefect during fifth year, I think we're just going to stick with the fact that Remus was and James wasn't. |

He was a chaser.. Apparently he was photographed playing with a snitch one afternoon while showing off(As usual), which made people think that he was a seeker. |
