"We'd better hurry, or else we might not even make it to the bedroom~" Mala joked, licking her lips afterwards.

"Well, we can't have that, now can we?" Van said as he got up and picked Mala up in his arms, bridal style, and carried her up to their room.

Once her mother and father were locked away in their room and the faint noises could barely be heard through the barrier, Larai took it as a sign that her parents wouldn't be out anytime soon. With a surprising bit of stealth, she silently slipped out of her bed and tip-toed out the door.

At some point during the night, Kai got up to use the bathroom, noticing Larai to be gone. He poked around the house (minus their parents' room) but couldn't find her, so he slipped on his shoes to go looking.

Having already brushed her hair and put on her shoes, Larai was headed towards the ruins she saw Daemon escape towards. She kept a surprisingly brave look about her despite how dark and spooky the town seemed to be at night.

((I'll send a profile later, once I have a better internet access and more time to ponder and think about my char. I do know, however, that I have the idea of our chars being the cliche twin henchmen of either identical or opposite personalities. XD ))

Kai slunk around the ruins trailing Larai, playing spy music in his head all the while while dodging around corners and such.

Before long, Larai walked up to some large ruins with a dark and eery feeling to them. She mentally noted to herself that this might be the place, and went on to carefully venture inside.

((...I just need to figure out what would go well with a technoholic-fanservicey-25-year-old-in-a12-year-old's-body. >.>;; ))

"....What are you doing here? You're the other brat of that heroic couple, aren't you? Rather foolish coming to the lion's den, isn't it?" Daemon hissed, concealed by the shadows cast by the old walls.

{Hm...a nature loving techno-hating actual twelve-year-old or also-fanservicey-victem-of-loliray?}

"You were both wrong in the situation. I came here to help heal your wounds and the burn-scars, but if you'd rather I not I can leave at any time." Larai stated calmly with a smile. She didn't let herself seem frightened in the least. More than anything, it seemed that she only came here because she felt bad for Daemon.

((Half an hour 'til boarding so I may randomly go poof.
Also, I think I'll go with the nature-wielding 12 year old with what may be hippie tendencies. XD ))

"AH HA!!" Kai suddenly jumped out from around the corner and pointed a finger at Larai.

Although Larai was shocked that Kai had followed after her, she kept a calm demeanor, as if it weren't surprising in the least. She glanced over at him and said softly, "This is not unexpected of you."

"You know mom n' dad aren't going to be happy that you're helping that demon creep. I don't get why he's worth the trouble anyway." Kai said.

"They went too far and you know it." Larai said calmly, turning away from her brother now. "I'm just here to do what I think is right. Isn't that what they always tell us to do?"

"I'm pretty sure that didn't include helping the bad guys get better so they can cause even more trouble." Kai said. "Besides, the guy's a demon, give him a week or so and he'll heal on his own."
