Theodin wandered back up to the Kazekage's tower and found everyone still outside. He didn't want to interrupt the older ninja's report, so he stood to the side and gave a quick bow. "Lady Kazekage-sama, I'm here to let you know that Aika, Kaori and I have finished cleaning the Shopping Superdome." he said calmly. Then he got a little nervous as he went to make his request. "Umm, also, I wanted to say that I'm eligible for promotion to Chuunin, and was wondering if you would do me the honor of granting me the promotion?" He bowed a bit deeper than before "I know the other genin and I had the incident during the Saraswasti mission, but I promise I'll do everything within my power to not make the same mistake again." The young genin stepped back, and waited quietly for the Kazekage's answer, his stomach tied in knots to the point he thought he might be sick from being so nervous.

Ayame walked back into the courtyard and stood off to the side listening to what Knives said and waited to see if they needed her input. She watched Daichi and tilted her head to the side, Daichi was actually cleaning the small dirty hairless kitten. It was strange how he was even liking a small cat. When he was done he put his head in Bast's lap once again and let the kitten curl up on his nose as it purred. Ayame shook her head and smiled as Daichi wagged his tail. One thing that she couldn't get off her mind though was the other white haired ninja. His scent was a mixture of James's and hers and then something unfamiliar. She grumbled as she wracked this around in her brain and wondered what in the heck James had done and who this kid was. James really had some explaining to do.

Kaori and Nova walked back to where they had left the Kazekage and the older Shinobi. Kaori blinked when she saw Daichi without his partner there, but smiled slightly as she nodded at the large wolf. Nova padded over to Daichi and butted her head against his side and then sat down beside him and rumbled happily. Kaori shook her head at her partner's antics, "We have completed our punishment Kazekage." She whispered, just loud enough for the Kazekage to hear her. Nova nodded and licked Bast's knee and then put her large head there. Kaori very nearly had a heart attack. Was Nova trying to get them killed? She sighed slightly and took a step back into the corner of the room, so as to try and be unobtrusive; this was when she noticed Ayame, off to the side as well it seemed. She looked over at the others there, and watched as they talked. One of the more experienced Shinobi caught her eye, he was much taller than her by at least a foot and a few inches, and well muscled. He had dark hair and was tanner than her own pale skin. He seemed calm, but something told her that there was more to him than his outer calm. It made her want to get to know more about him really.

San listened calmly, intently thinking back to the mental notes James had sent him during the mission. Still, those mental notes usually came with a poke to the forehead and an information transfer.
"Hmmm...a threat to kill them all? Green energy? Tell me more about these towers. You said every district had one? Then maybe they were not just simple reminders of their authority, but maybe the insturments of their demise....."
San would then nod to the young ninja that had finished their punishment. Indeed, they had a large burden placed on their shoulders, and had sacrificed much to save the citizens in dire need with little casualties. Even if their mission wasnt perfect, those that had survived should still have deserved some recognition for their efforts....

"It sounds like they were setting up for a military invasion, intending to use Saraswati as their base," Bast commented, ogling the map pensively. At about that time, Daichi approached and dropped the sphynx cat in her lap. When she saw what it was, she froze completely, her mind trying to catch up with her excitement. When she realized people were showing up again, she quickly made a couple of clones, scooped up the cat, and excused herself. She would slide out from underneath Nova and Daichi, dash around the side of the building, kitten cradled in her arms, and take it to a water spigot to wash it off.
Meanwhile, the first clone sat down in the stone chair and motioned for Knives and Doc to continue, patting Daichi on the head. The second clone walked over to Kaori and Theodin to address them:
"You're Chuunin," the Bast told Theodin without hesitation. "Inform the secretary inside and he'll get you a flak jacket and a weapon, if you need one. Keep it simple, though. Kaori, did you need something along the same lines?"
From around the side of the building, the group would hear the faint echoes of what sounded like a grown woman squealing in delight at a kitten.

"Thank you Lady Kazekage." Theodin said with a quick bow. He then walked around the crowd outside and slipped into the office to see the secretary. He received a broadsword to match his other one, and a Black and Blueish-grey Flak jacket, which he quickly put on. He then thanked the secretary and left the building, headed for the dojo.

Knives remarked, smirking inwardly at the taste of his blood as he was crushed by the attack between James and Himself in that fight.

Ayame smiled at the Kage's reaction to the cat and nodded. "The towers seemed like a defense mechanism and also a way to take out the whole city all at once. They had the barrier around them the same as the armor. Took one out and that's what activated the rest and sent out three tower guards, so to speak. All three of them knew jutsu and were pretty powerful. The UHV was very adamant about keeping Saraswati the only thing that made them turn around was when all of the towers were destroyed."

Doc nodded in response to the others comments. "I know that the civilians were afraid of them and didn't wan't to have any thing to do with the towers." Doc said when he had the chance. "While I was with them, I heard a lot of talk about the UHV putting up those towers and the fact that the UHV seemed pretty protective of them." Doc looked at the others to see their responses to what he said.

Kaori smiled slightly and bowed her head to the clone of the Kazekage, "Yes Ma'am." She responded softly. She blushed when the man winked at her and looked at her feet. Of course he had to see her staring at him. Nova went over and butted her head against the large Shinobi's hip and gave Kaori a look as if to tell her to do something. Kaori just barely managed to avoid groaning as she looked at Nova and shook her head. She sighed softly and bit her lip before she jerked her head to the door, "Let's go Nova." She sighed softly as she started walking to the door. Nova licked at the Shinobi's hand and then trotted after Kaori to the secretary's office. Once there Kaori received a flak jacket that was pale lavender. Once she had that she scratched Nova's ears and smiled slightly, "Thank you." She told the secretary. Time to head to the Academy to train some more.

"If those towers were important enough for the UHV to protect with people who have Shinobi training, I'm guessing there was something incredibly important about them. I'd also be willing to hazard a guess that this is where Knives' new high score on property damage comes in, so I hesitate to ask if there's anything left to loot," the first clone commented, staring at the map with its arms crossed. "I have to wonder where they got their Shinobi, though. Most of the minor Villages wouldn't even stand a chance against one of us, based on resource distribution, but if there were three of them and those towers were set up to annihilate the city, then there was some serious funding behind this. Were there any signs that these Jutsu-users may have come from a major Village? How highly-trained were they? Ayame, did you smell anything on them?"
The second clone, meanwhile, turned its attention toward Aika after having dealt with the other two:
"Yes, are you here for similar reasons, or for something else?" it asked, its expression somewhere between fanatically happy and calm.

"I took out one of the towers and James took out the rest. There wasn't really too much of a specific smell to them although sometime during the battle we smelled rain and a lot of rot. They were very well trained, all of them knew some high ranking jutsu." Ayame took out the sword she had gotten from the tengu and handed it to the Kage, "Maybe you can get something off this. I got that off the one I killed. He was a pain in the a** so I had to take something of his." Daichi grumbled remembering the tengu. he had figured the Titan would be hard to stop but oh no the tengu had been harder. "Stupid bird," Daichi said nuzzling Bast's hand.

Knives watched the Shinobi and her pet leave, obviously the pet was more interested in getting the two of them together or at least was the more aggressive it seemed. He made note of where they were going and noted to go visit her when he was done here with Bast.
Turning to the clone Knives chuckled. "I wouldn't say it's my high score, I wasn't the only one who destroyed the towers. As for funding yeah they've got plenty of that, got technology that I didn't even recognize from before. Sure we've seen gliders, one of which I took down myself in the city." he beamed "but they had something entirely different bigger this time almost like a carrier of them best I can describe. As for any indication of where they were from I didn't spot any on them so far as I know they didn't come from any of the major villages that or they were hiding it, which isn't that unusual of course." Knives noted.

"I didn't get any really look at the enemy that the others were fighting, but what I did see was really strange." Doc added in, "Like one of them seemed to be like a bird, and another seemed to almost take damage like it was nothing. But this is only what I saw, so I don't know if it's accurate." Doc stood there wondering where James was. He thought that James would be able to provided the most amount of information.
