Cameron nodded once. He preferred Caitlin's natural hair color, but this was the choice she made. The two of them have already spoken about her dying her hair the previous year, and it seemed like she was going to listen to his opinion. "Yeah, it was pretty relaxing. How was yours?" he asked, not staying on the subject of hair just as the girl intended.

Ariana draw her eyes away from Katrina and looked over at the crowd of students. Did anyone notice yet? she wondered, trying to find a pair of eyes staring at the two girls. Samuel seemed to have seen the pair of Hufflepuffs, but it did not seem like he realized they had been holding hands.

Katrina did the same, looking around the platform to see if anyone had noticed that they were holding hands. She heard Melinda explain that they were waiting to Rick. She cleared her throat and tried to calm her hammering heart. "Yeah. We're..." she coughed, her throat a little hoarse. "We're waiting for Steele and Sam."

After hearing Katrina say they were waiting for Steele and Sam, Ariana let go of her luggage and pointed at the Gryffindor seeker. "Well, there's Sam. He's talking to that second year. What's her name again? Cathryn?" she asked, forgetting the girl's name as she never spoke to her. The only times she heard about the second year was when Samuel would talk about her.

Amanda looked to the girl on her side as she heard a familiar voice. "Oh, I thought you were up ahead somewhere." As they continued to walk, Amanda decided to try some small talk once more. The train wasn't really the most private place to talk about personal stuff, so she promised she'd wait until later to find out if her friend and Katrina Varren had ran into each other yet. "It was fine. Nothing really happened. I was mostly stuck at home with Kaitlyn nagging me all day," she admitted, sighing at the thought of her sister bothering her all vacation. "How was yours?" Although she asked her friend earlier on the train, she didn't exactly get an answer. Instead, the two girls just stared out the window the whole trip.
