((Don't know who yet but I'm sure we'll figure it out as we go along))
Gardens were always interesting for Farah. Coming from a desert climate she had never seen many green ones. The occasional rain bought patches of grass and thick blooms of flowers but they would last less then a week in the sweltering mid-day sun before they withered back to a dried, dirt brown.
That was the most likely reason she found herself now stalking around one of the many flower gardens at the back of the castle. Hector's order had been more of a friendly suggestion where Farah was concerned.
After all, she had never agreed to go all the way to Norra with them, only to provide a charter course for the ships journey anything now was either going to be a perk of being dragged along or some form of living hell into which she had been thrown head first.

Liam tossed back the last of his drink and looked to her "tell him...that this changes nothing" Liam spoke of course about the war, with the darkness manipulating him he was going to keep the war going

"Are you drunk? You are certainly not acting like yourself." She told him, taking a step closer. She could feel the overflow of dark power in him, but she didn't want to create a panic. 'I need to purify this somehow... and I feel like he's not going to let me walk out and go home either.'
The voluptuous blond (Luna) was also in the garden, looking at the party. She wore a nice dress and one of the jewels she stole from the king. She looked lovely, but she felt under-dressed compared to the others. Still, she watched Liam from afar, daydreaming about joining the party and dancing with him.

Sat, tucked away in the shadows, Farah watched her feet dangling from the tree branch she was now occupying. People had started entering the garden a lot sooner then she had expected and drunken party revellers swayed to an fro across the grass bringing unwanted noise to her peaceful exploration.
With arms crossed the Hannon trader sat aloft of the party guests, her gaze focused on one in particular that swayed nervously at the edge of the group staring out across the party transfixed on something (or someone). If that woman did't move further away Farah couldn't get down with out alerting her and in a party hosted by Norran dignitaries that was the last thing she wanted to do.

'Who is he talking to? Is he a noble? He doesn't look like a noble. Who is that?' She thought, looking between Hector and Liam, but mostly looking at Liam.

Curiosity seemed to take hold of Farah as she watched the women down below.
Slowly she inclined her head, leaning down slightly to peer through the lower branches, what ever the woman was looking at must have been interesting for her to watch it so intently. Vaguely Farah found herself wondering if the woman was even a part of the dignitary. She defiantly looked it, draped in all her finery and yet she fidgeted around the outskirts like an outsider.
'well if her attention is so throughly caught up on who ever she's stalking I might as well try and slip away now' Even for Farah however that proved to be easier said then done. The leaves rustled as she slipped down to the ground.
Ducking behind the trunk Farah prayed the woman didn't hear or if she did that she assumed it was some sort of animal.

"of course not" Liam said, pulling the glass away, he could hear her thoughts, planning something out for him, but he would act none the wiser "please...enjoy the party Hector" with a grin he turned away from her and let a crowd come and talk to him.

"You're making that rather difficult..." She muttered, before turning and walking out the door. She would leave the darkness as it was. After all, the majority of it still lay sleeping in her. The closer it came to her, the stronger its effects were likely to become. She headed out into the garden, ignoring most of the party when she suddenly spotted the girl looking at the party from within. 'A... commoner?' Hector wondered, looking at her. The girl looked back and said nothing. "Are you waiting for someone?" Hector asked. Luna stiffened and did not reply. "Well..." Hector muttered to her. "You're not going to accomplish much by hiding here. Well, except maybe crushing your own hopes and dreams."
"But... I..." She muttered.
"If anyone asks, say Lord Thunderbird let you in." Hector replied before turning and walking away.
"Thunderbird? Where have I..." She muttered when suddenly, it clicked. 'Hector Thunderbird?!' "Why are you here?!" She suddenly demanded boldly.
Hector stopped in her tracks and turned back to the girl. "I'm here to stop this stupid war."
"What?" She asked.
"A long time ago, Norra belonged to the people of Ander, but the people of Norra forced us into the mountains to starve. And soon, we will run out of food. The previous King of Norra won't give us back a small portion of the lands they stole so that we can feed our people, nor will they let us buy them back. War is the only option so that we could live. In fact, all of the land we have taken over has been turned into farmland, but it's still not enough. I was hoping to talk the prince into being generous."
"I-it's not true." She replied.
"If you don't believe me, why not go ask him yourself. At least that will give you some other motive then your wavering heart." Hector told her.
Luna swallowed hard, looking into Hectors calm and deep eyes before turning and entering the party. She saw the crowd surrounding Liam and said nothing, trying to see if she could get his attention.
Hector said nothing and turned to take a tour of the gardens.

Liam watched Hector walk away from the corner of his eye, something in him wanted to run up and stop her, keep her close, but he forced himself back. He excused himself away from the crowd after they gave him condolences and congratulations, he mostly wanted to be away from all of these people but he couldn't just disappear. He went to a nearby balcony that overlooked the city, nobody was near it and nobody seemed to want to come bother him, it was the moment of peace he needed.
Once again Eviz returned to reality, he was gasping heavily, a clod sweat ran down his face. The time he had spent trying to fight the darkness was different now, it was becoming smarter, it knew how to fend him off now, it was making him weaker. Blood ran from his nose, he had become a sickly pale, he was beginning to realize that this was a loosing battle...

Hector was alone and walked to a small bend in the river and stopped, looking at the small flowers and the stream.
The girl watched as Liam stepped away from the crowd by himself. Slowly, she snuck away into the balcony after him. She walked over to him, about to say something, when she saw how he looked out to the garden. She looked out also, trying to see what he saw, and seeing Hector, she remembered what Hector had said about the war. 'Is that what he's thinking about?' She thought, looking at him.

Slipping from her space behind the tree Farah darted through the shadows.
The girl had missed her presence which in all honest suited her fine. She had also managed to over hear some rather interesting information, though knowing Hector it was more then likely he had guessed the Hannon woman was lurking around.
Quietly Farah shifted from shadow to shadow, tracing the Lord of Anders steps until she could stand next to him, just out of site of the other party guest's, shaded by a rather dense hedge of flowers.
"seems like you're not having to much fun here after all"
