Raskal started to reply to Llilly but quickly changed his mind, seeing the new threat come crashing down on him. He stepped in front of the girl and threw his arms out wide to protect her.
His mind began to race though as he slowly came to grips with what he was seeing. "Lu... Lu..." He stammered. "Is that a Lugia!?!" Raskal's eyes nearly popped out of his head at the sight of the second legendary pokemon of the night. Then noticing Czar on it's back he pointed to the boy.
"You've got to be kidding me Czar!" Raskal shouted. "There's no way you could have captured a Lugia!"

. . .Articuno, why? No matter. I must get to the bottom of this.
What just happened? Czar looked at Alex; landing close to the group as they both nodded as they get ready to fly again. There they waited for Alex to recover some of his strength before flying again.
Hearing Jace's comment he laughed a little on the inside. I really should explain my history. . .

Lilly laughed, once again, "Wow, Jace, you pick the funniest tiems to protect me." She walked out form behind Jace, and looked at Lugia, "Hey, Alex! Thanks for trying to save us."
Missy smiled, "Sup! Alex!'

"Sure thing Lilly, Hey Missy, I head you guys won the contest. Congrats." Alex complemented them both.
"Hey guys. . ." Czar disembarked Alex and landed on the ground. "Why did Articuno attacked you guys?" He asked in a concern tone.

Raskal was still choked up at seeing a legendary pokemon from his region. He caught his tounge however and managed to speak at last. "I... I don't think it attacked us." He stammered. "If Articuno wanted to hurt us it would have been more than easy.
He thought for a moment then looked around. He hadn't noticed before but there was some debris in the large cavern. Sticks, branches, old leaf litter, and random wodden planks (probably from parts of a building Raskal thought) layed scattered about the room.
"Maybe Articuno didn't expect anyone to be here. Look at this place," he said with a sweep of his hand. "Its not just an empty cave... its a nest!"

"Or a nest..." Lilly corrected herself, she walked over to Jace looking at the wrecked nest, "Aww, poor Articuno has to rebuild her nest."

"No. . ." Alex added in to Lilly's sentence. "I think its something else. I don't think silver really attracted Articuno. It must be something else, and as overseer of the three Kanto birds I'll find out for myself." Alex extended his wings.
"I'll be going with you too." Czar added in; facing Alex."
Then Alex heard Raskal saying that this is Articuno's nest, he was right.
"Oh. . . I guess that's it." Alex sweated a little.
"Listen you guys better hide, I'll talk to Her; the Articuno" Alex said to them.

silver reappered at the the pokemon center with Kirlia. suddenly Typhlosion popped out of his starter ball obviously pissed and started yelling in an incomprehensible pokelanguage that only typhlosion understood. people near him laughed and stared at him while he waited patiently for typhlosion to cool down. finally typhlosion cooled down and waited for an explaination for silvers intrusion on typhlosions would-have-been battle. silver sighed and said "all those people there had pokemon that could wipe my entire team and i had to face articuno and a lugia showed up. if we would have stayed not only would we have been a hassle on them but we would have gotten our asses handed to us. no its better we train first. and when your powerfull enough to go one on one with a legendary thn we will go back and kick some sense into that showoffy bird"
typhlosion hated admitting it but he agreed with everything silver said and nodded to show it
"good lets get some sleep then in the morning we can sell that stone for foodmoney

Raskal slapped himself in the face for being so dumb. "Of course! Articuno returns to the Seafoam islands every year so it makes perfect sense for it to have it's own nest." A worried look suddenly flashed over his features.
"Um... what if it comes back?" He asked, clearly concerned.

"Like Alex said Jace; if you had the earpiece on, He'll talk to her, the Articuno to make sure you guys aren't trespassers or Poachers; wanting to capture such a legendary." Czar told him.
"Yeah." Alex told Jace in the Pokemon Language. "However knowing her; the Articuno, she'll come back. After all, this is her nest, and more importantly. . . there might be eggs around here. but that's a long shot." Alex continued.

Meanwhile high above the mountain Articuno glided around, watching from a distance as the trainers conversed. Deciding it had waited long enough, it folded it's wings back and dove back down towards the cave, trailing shards of snow and hail in it's wake.
The enraged pokemon soared across the entrance to it's nest and fired off a powerful beam of ice from it's mouth that struck the rock at the base of the ledge. Thick chunks of ice formed along the rim of the cave ending in sharp, jagged angles. It was an ominous warning to the intruders, a threat that Articuno meant to follow through on with it's next pass.

"Look out!" Raskal shouted. He watched as the Ice Beam attack hit the rocky outcrop, narrowly missing Alex. "Something tells me that Articuno doesn't want to talk."
Raskal reached to his belt and produced two pokeballs. "Return Cubone! You too Eevee!" He comanded. It would be safer for the pair inside thier capsules rather than in the path of the legendary pokemon's rage.
