Tonight my parents will be giving me the presents they got for me. I'm so excited to see what they ended up getting me. 3nodding

I should also be receiving a package of birthday gifts from my friend Ame at some point. Though it might take a while before it gets here, since she's over in Germany... and I'm not sure what day she sent it out ((or if she's even sent it out, at that; I know we talked about it earlier in the month, but haven't heard anything more about it since then, heh)).

So yeah... my Un-birthday party yesterday was lots of fun. We hanged out and chatted, I showed a few of my favorite YouTube videos I had, and played some music for them to dance to - if they felt like it, that is. 3nodding

I made sure to play some Rock music for Shadow, since a lot of the other songs I was playing was mostly Pop. sweatdrop So yeah...

I can't believe I'll be starting my other summer class tomorrow. And it'll be the first night class I've ever taken. So, it'll be interesting to see what I think of having a night class. 3nodding

I'm currently looking up Native American music on MySpace to create a playlist with. 3nodding Just in case I want to listen to some music while working on my homework or just help me get into the mood for the class.

For those who don't remember, my class will be Native American Literature.

Oh, that reminds me. When I was dropping Shadow off, I stayed and hanged out with him for a little while. He ended up showing me some of his stuff that he had. One of the things was his Native American drum that he had hanging on the wall. He let me beat it once with the drumstick. 3nodding It was cool. On the surface it has the image of a wolf ((his favorite animal)) - one side is in the design of a real wolf, then the other side is in the design of Native American art. 3nodding Very cool.

He also let me try out the fiddle he had - which turns out to be his great-grandfathers. 3nodding Shadow was saying that once he gets the money, he plans on restringing it and tuning and all that wonderful stuff.

Hmm... I'll do the Native American music playlist later. I feel like listening to upbeat music to celebrate my birthday right now. xd

I found out today that Heroes had been cancelled. cry I loved that series! And I was all excited too because Robert Knepper had joined the cast in the last season. I knew him from Prison Break, and he played one of my favorite characters in that series.

*sighs*

Why do they always have to cancel the good shows, and leave the bad/stupid ones running?

Though I did read that Kring, the creator of Heroes, is planning on doing a mini-series to help wrap things up and actually put a conclusion to the storyline, rather than leaving it open-ended like it is right now. He's been discussing it with NBC... so we'll see if that happens or not...

I thought I would look up my other favorite shows I enjoy watching to see what other shows have been cancelled.

Looks like Ghost Whisperer is cancelled. I'm sort of on the fence on how I feel about the show being cancelled. Part of me liked the fact that Jim was able to come back, by taking the body of Sam... and I liked that we finally got to see that they had a kid, after seasons of them trying and not succeeding. But there was a part of me that wasn't sure what this whole "Shinies and Shadows" business was about. Were they angels and demons? Or what? *shrugs* I don't know. I think I preferred it being just going "into the light" and making sure they are sucked down to the dark place.

My Dad will be happy to know it's over though. He was starting to get tired of watching it. xd

Are you serious? Mercy was cancelled too? surprised Darn. I actually liked that show. Probably the first medical show I've ever enjoyed.

*sighs* Well at least it's not very many shows that have been cancelled. But still... it'll be weird not watching them.

But enough depressing info. Back to more happy things.
