Henrietta nodded. And the two were off!
And then they arrived. It was late, not night time late, but late by the time they arrived. Henrietta's legs ached from seven hours of walking and she was starving as well.
"W-we're here," she said as the duo arrived in Nacrene City. An ad for the tournament was being played in the little rest place building thingy that Henrietta had stopped in, for a moments rest.

"Ugh," Eunmi sat down on one of the benches and rubbed her leg.
"I don't usually mind walking, but that sucked. We should have taken up that guys offer for a ride."
Eunmi's stomach grumbled.
"Soo hungry..."

"H-he was scary!" Henrietta said. Oh, they'd totally be dead if they'd gone with him, that's what she told herself. Henrietta sat down next to Eunmi and sighed. It had been such a long walk, and the two might have bonded or some other such implied character development.
It was around this time that Gorm stepped into the rest station. The tall man looked at the two trainers, as well as everyone else, and began to walk away. Toward the route.
Henrietta, when she saw him, began trembling. She said, voice shaking, "th-that's the guy. H-he took D-darumi!" She gripped her shinai. She was shaking, fear, adrenaline, in a moment, if Emi didn't act, she'd lunge at the man.

"I'm joking," Eunmi laughed, but then saw Henrietta jump up.
"Stop," Eunmi hissed, catching the girl's arm. "Don't jumped into things without a plan."
Eunmi stood up slowly. "Let's follow him first and make sure he's alone - I don't think we'll stand a chance otherwise."

Henrietta looked at the other girl and then nodded slowly And then they'd follow him, out onto Route 3. The gray clouds hung in the air but produced no more rain, not yet. Gorm stood some distance from the rest station when they exited. He stopped and turned to look at them.
He looked to consider them for a moment before he turned again and headed off and Henrietta narrowed her eyes. He's leading us. That's the feeling she got. She took off then, after him, not running but fast enough to keep up. Even if he knew they were following she wouldn't stop. She couldn't stop.

"So much for being inconspicuous..."
Eunmi held back a second, wondering if they were being brave or stupid - or both. Then she sprinted after Henrietta.

Gorm lead them to a clearing a little off from the route, a small field where Pokemon normally resided. Except there were none now. They'd all scurried off when Gorm had arrived. He turned at one end of the clearing just as Eunmi and Henrietta arrived.
"May I help you?" Gorm asked.
"Where's Darumi!" Henrietta shouted, surprised at her own voice, at her own anger.
"Whom?"
"My Darumaka! You stole him!"
Gorm chuckled softly. "I did not such thing, child, perhaps-
And Henrietta lunged then, shinai high as she cut the distance in half in a single step, a second one brought her to Gorm and she swung the shinai down from overhead, only to have it flicked and it and her body flew backward with a sudden force that she crossed the distance back to the other end of the clearing.
All of the anger she'd had a moment ago was broken in that single flick. She'd been angry, blaming herself, having such terrible luck. It had all been put into that swing, that one swing that had been brushed aside like bear swatting aside an infant.
"Wh-what?"

Eunmi caught up in time to have Henrietta thrown into her. Luckily she managed to stay on her feet, and helped Henrietta to stay on hers as well.
She looked up at Gorm, not needing to 'sense' how strong he was - he had exhibited it fairly well just then.
"...are you okay?" Eunmi asked.

"E-emi, h-he's too strong," Henrietta said. She was shaking again but defeated. She leaned back against Eunmi, as if she wasn't able to support herself anymore. Her cheeks streamed tears.
"Listen, I have places to be. If you have questions for me, I will gladly answer them. But only if you're worthy of my time," Gorm announced.

"No," Eunmi said loudly. "Tell us now. Where is Darumi?"

Gorm looked at Eunmi as if he'd just seen her. Surprised that she was there. It wasn't that he was blind, mind you, it was like someone standing so high above the world looking down and just now figuring that those dark spots might actually be ants.
"I don't recall any such individual. You attacked me," he observed. Then a smile crossed his face. "I have an idea. I must be going now, but I will answer your questions, if you can face me in the tournament tomorrow. Otherwise I simply do not have any time to spare for you."

"You don't," Gorm said bluntly. Then as he turned, he gave Eunmi a sideways glance, "but you have no other choice. Do you?" With that, he turned and walked away.
