katana68 Well.....I guess she's fine or she would have called or something.....*a worried look passes quickly over her face, but then she turns to Showcase and smiles.* So, tell me about your day? Anything interesting? Or are you not allowed to talk about it? confused Just the typical stuff…nothing exciting today. Email, phone calls, trying to follow up on leads and dreaded paperwork. How I hate paperwork. *sips his scotch.*

Makaijin Showa Hayata But they are allowed to speak their mind. But if it's something like a nickname, which doesn't really affect anything... my servant is not really named Saoza, his name is Kotaru. I just call him Saoza. It's actually a better name than Kotaru. Not uncommon for Makai royalty to choose a superior name for someone... Superior in your mind does not translate to true superiority. As you mentioned before, royalty may call someone a displeasing name and still nothing will be said. You may believe it does not really affect anything, jhal the harsh reality of it is that you admittedly have no respect for those whom you are addressing. You will call them whatever you wish with no consideration or regards for what their real name is or what they truely wish to be called. I am sure you will have another example for me to try to insist this is not the case, rilu'oh the way qu'essan addresses Tes does more to prove I am correct in my thinking than any unproven obscure example you have to give me as it is just hearsay.

[in "thought-speech"]Heheheh... Tes... once Asuka starts nicknaming you, she won't stop until she comes up with something you'll answer to. Rest assured, it won't be the name you were born with because the point of royalty renaming you is to give you a better name.
Just answer to "Wiggles" or she'll probably hear something even more ridiculous-sounding and think it sounds cool.

Usually the name chosen is well-thought-out with meaning taken into consideration. But she probably doesn't realize how ridiculous "Wiggles" sounds to a native English speaker. Being renamed by royalty is also considered an honor.

If by "good" you mean "gruesome", I would have to agree with you there, Kits. *pokes one of the headless cupid candles*

JustinShowcase Just the typical stuff…nothing exciting today. Email, phone calls, trying to follow up on leads and dreaded paperwork. How I hate paperwork. *sips his scotch.* Well, I can agree with you about paperwork.....are there any leads about those goons that shot up the bar?

Psyzapp *She smiles sweetly at him and accepts the box of chocolates and the bottle of wine.* Aren't you sweet. *She is quite touched and she kisses him again.* Thank you so much…how incredibly thoughtful. *She then makes him his scotch and places it on the bar in front of him.* *He smiles to himself, knowing that he's got a couple more surprises up his sleeve for her, but those would be for later when they're alone* I know it rather goes against the general idea of this Anti-Valentine's party, but I just wanted you to have these now. *He picks up his drink and takes a sip*

By good, I meant that it fits the theme pretty well. *looks over at Asuka* Umm... Wiggles isn't a name. At least, not for a person.

But she probably doesn't realize how ridiculous "Wiggles" sounds to a native English speaker. "Well thought out"? You contradict yourself, Showa. Did you not just say she would just call him whatever she believes "sounds cool", as you say? Or perhaps you were just thinking loudly.
Common tongue is not my first language either, nor is it Quor... *ahem* Tes'. Rilu'oh for her to have been interacting with those speaking common tongue so effortlessly goes to show she at the very least has a basic understanding of the things she and others are saying. It also matters not if it is considered an "honor" in your world to be renamed by royalty in your world because we are not in your world.

I think the ladies just wanted to have an excuse to have a good time. *she takes a sip of her Manhattan.*
