"w-where would you like to eat?" Kikou asked

Kiri rolled her eyes. "Why am I not surprised? You seem to be picking up on my talent for annoying people." She laughed lightly. "I tagged along with Kin and them, since my mission ran into theirs. Literally."

"Ah right, your private mission. What was that exactly? Anything fun?" Nowe asked, moving his arm away from her so he could take hold of her hand. He had missed her on his mission, but they would have plenty of time to work together again. Where he could burn anyone who attacked her.

Zane walked inside, tossed his bag on the ground and kicked his shoes off before going to bed. I swear if someone wakes me up to go on another suicide mission, I am gonna go nuts. Zane thought as he slowly drifted off to sleep.  

[Lucky_Tiger]

"Boring sneaky stuff. I don't know why they sent me instead of someone like Kikou." Kiri waved a hand dismissively. "I was tracking the dolls. One of them attacked Kin's team though, so I had to step in and help fight." She shivered, remembering her close call.

"Those dolls...such a pain in the a**." Nowe said, before kissing Kiri gently on the lips. "So want me to walk you home? You seem like your tired?" He offered.  

[Lucky_Tiger]

Kiri smiled at the kiss. "Home sounds like a good idea. I haven't had a bed in too long. I'm ready for something more comfortable than rocks and dirt." She said with a laugh. She started walking towards her home, hand firmly linked with Nowe's.

Nowe gave Kiri's hand a small squeeze as they walked. "You'll be happy to know I didn't use the cursemark at all. I kept it under control, just like I said I would." He glanced over at her, hoping to see a smile on her face.

Kiri rewarded him with a beaming smile. She hugged him tightly. "I'm so proud. Thank you!" She felt better, knowing he hadn't resorted to that damned cursemark that she hated so much. "I knew you could do it."

"Anywhere but Ichiraku," Tayu grinned at Kikou. "It seems like every time any of our team meets up somewhere, it's Ichiraku." She made a face and laughed. "Do you have some place in mind, Kikou-kun?"

"Y-Yakiniku Q" Kikou said wanting to turn this small date to be a nice even though he had no idea if she thought it a date "If that's alright with you"

"Ooh, nice choice. That sounds great to me," Tayu smiled. "Shall we go?" She held out a hand to Kikou, then she noticed the dirt covering her sleeve from running through a tunnel. "Actually, Kikou-kun, would you mind if I ran home for a minute? Just to put on a clean shirt?"

"oh ok I'll meet you there then?"

Tayu shrugged. "Sure. See you in a few minutes, then."

"Alright then" Kikou said with a smile.
