In the dub, he was worth 1 woolong.

If Bandai changed that bit of dialog, how much else did they change? Every detail, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, is important.

Gi ussta.... rings are not as noticeable as you may think, dear Tes, especially plain wedding bands such as the one you are wearing.

*holds up his hand and flashes the various rings on his fingers*
Mine have gemstones that can at times demand attention if the light catches them just right, not to mention having more than one making it a bit more obvious I am wearing them.

*points at Tes' left hand*
Having just the one, in silver no less, makes it very subtle and easily overlooked. You cannot expect it to explain your marital status for you.
