The hotel was pretty simple. It was a small place, two story building. It was outdoors instead of indoors, so the rooms led onto small 'halls' which were, on the second floor, stone side to keep you from falling on one side, and a series of rooms on the other. Henrietta ended up with a second floor room, 2D.
After that, she'd head for the laundry mat, determined to call Emi after some time had passed. After all, she had a plan to get done. So, she talked to the man at the counter of the laundry mat about leaving the clothing there for the night. He agreed, she paid and then she was off, leaving the laundry mat.

The Center binged and once again Avan retrieved Baku, and for the first time, the freshly caught Tympole. He didn't find a reason to get Kali healed.
The swampy land of the area outside the official Pinwheel Forest had left the boy dirty, and he was running out of clean clothes, so that left one option, to get them cleaned.
He left the center and headed to the laundry mat. Outside, he bumped into, not literally, Henrietta. "Ah- Hey..." He had never gotten her name, so he couldn't exactly call her by anything.

Robert entered into the dojo from the door John used before to get straight to the living area. He knocked first, if for nothing else than to be polite. Lilly opened the door. Normally she'd just walk off, but she was becoming a bit curious about Robert. "Come in." she spoke in a calm yet standoff-ish tone.
Robert gave a bow of his head to her and entered in with Freya, Garnet and Beatrix in tow. The three Pokemon headed over to sit with the family's Pokemon, all of which were fighting types or dual typed fighting..
The meal consisted of bowls of ramen, stir-fry vegetables and glazed pineapple-teriyaki beef, with hot tea as a beverage. For the Pokemon, each one was serves Pokemon food specially made for fighting types, along with diced Pecha and Oran.
As they ate, Lilly looked over to her father. "So, how did you two meet anyways?" she asked. John was a little surprised, as she never asked about anyone before. "Well, I went to Iron Island ten years ago to train to compete in the Sinnoh League. Flare and I were heading back to the boat when Flare noticed something and took off. I ran after her and found a young boy shielding a Riolu from a group of Geodudes that were pelting them with stones. The thing is, the Riolu was a wild Pokemon, and the boy was using his body as a shield on purpose. He could have fled at any time, but he was determined to protect that Pokemon. Needless to say, the Geodudes were no match for Flare. I took Robert here to the nearest hospital, and that Riolu never left his side. At the time, Flare had mated with our Meinshao and had an egg. I didn't want to abandon the egg, but I couldn't bring it with me either, so I gave the egg to Robert here, and that egg is that Combusken over there." John said as he pointed to Garnet.
Lilly blinked a bit. She had never heard of anyone who would risk their life for a Pokemon that wasn't even theirs. "Why did you do that?" Lilly asked as she looked at Robert.
Robert shook his head a bit. "Do you need a reason to help others? Besides, it was an unfair fight, and she had done nothing to deserve what they were doing to her." Robert replied. "Life is precious. Human or Pokemon, it doesn't matter. Outside of necessity for survival such as food or defending one's own life or another's life, it's wrong to kill. It's something that should only ever be a last resort." Robert spoke plainly. as he began eating his meal.
John smiled before looking at Robert. "I watched your training sessions. You seem to favor speed and precision over power. You have a strong defensive stance, but you don't seem to be a stick-and-move kind of fighter. Just my opinion, but I think if you learned how to hit and move instead of staying in close, you'd be able to wear down your opponents with a lesser chance of getting clobbered." John spoke before eating his food.
Robert shrugged a bit. "I'm trying to find a style that's most natural for me, but I'll certainly take it into consideration." Robert said.
"Will you be in town long?" John asked. Robert shook his head a bit. "Not likely. After the tournament, I intend to challenge the Pokemon Gym here. Then depending on the time I'll either head off for the next city or spend the night at the Pokemon Center and leave early in the morning." Robert explained.
"I see. So what made you come to Unova?" John asked.
"Well, I'm a bit too familiar with the Sinnoh gyms. I wanted to start off fresh, in a place I've never been to. I heard that there was plenty of rare Pokemon here that can't be found anywhere else in the world, so I'd love to see them, and if I'm lucky enough, befriend a few of them. But I have to say, with Team Plasma about, this journey is becoming anything BUT fun. Already several people I met had Pokemon stolen from them, and the Dreamyard is in shambles. I only hope the Munna there survived. Those criminals think nothing of the lives of others. and they hide behind their whole Pokemon liberation. Just another fancy word for theft." Robert spoke before drinking his tea.
John shook his head. "Well, in the end they'll end up like all of the other 'teams'. After all, Team Rocket, Aqua, Magma, Galactic and Cipher all fell in the end. This Team Plasma will fall all the same so long as people are willing to stand up to them. The only time evil can triumph is when good people do nothing." John spoke.
After the meal, Robert and his Pokemon headed back towardsthe Pokemon Center. Tomorrow was the tournament, and he was going to need a good night's rest.

"Eep!" went Henrietta when she saw Avan. It was quiet, though, almost like a squeak. "H-h-hey!" she said. It wasn't exactly friendly, but the last time she recalled the boy she was bleeding, burned, aching and his Pokemon had tried to kill her. Or so she'd decided considering the attack that was targeted to hit her if Melty dodged. That was kind of clearly on purpose.

The air of awkwardness between the two could be cut with a knife. last time Avan saw her she had to be rushed to the hospital; mostly because of him. "So...I see your feeling better...all healed up?" He mentioned. What could have he said? "Um...sorry about...well you know." His eyes couldn't look her in the face. He was indeed kind of ashamed.

"H-h-h-hum," was all Henrietta managed.
"I-i-i-i-i h-h-h-hum," she looked around. Where was an exit? Did she have one? Oh yeah.
"I-i-i-i n-n-need t-t-to c-c-c-call my f-f-friend."

This wasn't time to let her get away. "Wait! I'm sorry but..." Avan stepped a bit closer, not threateningly, but casually. "You were at the Dreamyard right? The night it collapsed. Do you know who did it, I mean...what went on down there?" Being pushy for answers wasn't his style, but this was important.

"T-t-t-t-t-t-team p-p-p-pp-plasma," she said.
"O-o-o-o-one of them i-is e-entering the tournament t-t-t-tomorrow."

"So it was Team Plasma..." He repeated softly. "Thank you...um..." Avan scratched his head embarrassed. "I never got your name." The boy smiled. "I'm Crown." He said, using his nickname once again, in case she had forgotten.

She wasn't gonna give the crazy guy her name! That was crazy! Silly crazy man. There was one way to deal with this, but Henrietta was too nervous so she said the first name that came to mind.
"Eunmi."
And then she ran off.
About a block of sprinting later, she stopped, caught her breath and called Emi.

((That's a strangely korean name for a not korean person to have. biggrin ))
D-Vee and Eunmi sat outside the Cafe at a small round table. D-Vee had been right - the Cafe did serve ice cream. Eunmi had bought him the largest sundae they had and he was gleefully scarfing the treat down. Ever since Eunmi had gotten Dali, D-Vee and the teenager hadn't spent much time alone. But they never had been particularly close.
"I'm scared about tomorrow," Eunmi admitted. D-Vee looked up from his dessert.
"I mean, I want to help, but," Eunmi sighed. "I put all that behind me."
D-Vee stared at her quietly before reluctantly sliding the ice cream towards her.
"Smeargle smear?" he offered.
"Heh... thanks, Deev," Eunmi said but shook her head. D-Vee pulled the bowl back closer to him and took another large spoonful.
"After we get Darumi back, I'll help you find your trainer," Eunmi said. "Until then, will you try to be patient with me?"
D-Vee looked up again, surprised at Eunmi's offer. His brow furrowed lightly and he extended his paw to place it on hers.
"A-and... If something happens tomorrow, then I want you to go with Henrietta..."
[I like it better when you have goals and ambitions,] D-Vee said, even though she couldn't understand him. [But thank you.]
Eunmi smiled, understanding at the very least that D-Vee wasn't going to abandon her in all this. A second later, her xtransceiver rang.
"Erk," she lifted her wrist and looked at the screen. Tapping it once to answer, she said, "Hello?"

The form of Eunmi appeared as a mini-hologram and Henrietta blinked. "Hum!" she squeaked, surprised.
"H-h-hum, the room is," and she told Emi the room and hotel location. "I-i'll meet you there."
With that, she made her way to the tournament sign up place, signed up under the name Tess Avalite, and then went to her hotel room.

"She's an interesting person, isn't she?" Eunmi said to D-Vee. The Smeargle was practically licking the bowl clean at this point and hardly paid any attention to the phone call.
[Henrietta? She's too meek, in my opinion,] D-Vee said. [But you can tell she has a lot of heart.]
"After all that traveling today, I'm exhausted," Eunmi said, standing up and stretching. "Want a lift? You must be tired too."
D-Vee looked at Eunmi's outstretched arm and climbed up.
"I wish I could tell you more about your trainer, but all I got was an ID number when I looked it up on the Pokedex. The Pokedex said all the other data had been wiped.
"But I'm sure we can find some place to look up stuff like that, right?"
D-Vee frowned.
[...it didn't even have her name?] The Smeargle looked sad. Despite knowing his previous owner must have loved him, he couldn't remember who she was either. He didn't know what happened. One day he had just ended up with Eunmi somehow.
"Some mystery," Eunmi replied. "At least we have a lead."
"Smear smeargle," he nodded, reassured, even only just a bit.
* * * * *
Eunmi didn't have a key to the hotel room, so she knocked loudly on the door.
"Hey! Henrietta! Open up!"
The door opened and a large scary looking man appeared. Eunmi looked back at her xtransceiver where she had typed the number of the room on the screen.
"One oh eeeeiiiight...not one oh three. My bad, sorry," Eunmi replied sheepishly and backed away from the door. She then ran down the hall quickly to the right room.
"Henrietta!" Eunmi hissed. "It's me, Eunmi! Open up! Quick!"

Henrietta would open the door for Eunmi and let her in. Inside of the room was small, a bathroom, one bed, a tv, cramped really.
"I-it was cheap," Henrietta said instantly, in defense of the tiny room.
