When the shopping was complete, they all got ice cream. Rosemary bought it for almost everyone except Sephiroth and Abigail who paid for their own. Since she and Veni couldn't eat ice cream, they held a cone down for BlackMN, Ophelia, and Ban.
"Are we going to port back or are we taking the long way?" Asked Veni who wished to nap before sunset.
As they decided to take the long way back and it was a long way back... like a couple hours of travel time, Veni closed his umbrella and tucked it away and took on the form of a bat and hid from the light as a bat under Jacob's tied up hair and tickled him a little before settling in.

Jacob smiled a little at the tickling sensation, and reached back to pet Veni gently a little before withdrawing his hand.
Getting to a transport stop, Galantros pushed a call button for a paid, private transport. He talked with a dispatcher, telling them to come to their location as indicated by the data at the stop, then deposited a few coins for a securement fee...
- - - - -
Elsewhere, a transport went out.... black merchants had been keeping an eye on the shopping group for a little while now, finding the sucubus desireable for slave trade. When a transport was sent out, they went to lengths to find out where it was coming from with tapping equipment. The methods were time and cost expensive, but they would get plenty more back if they successfully captured Adira.
When the transport came to a stop light, a black merchant used magic to quickly teleport into it, and immediately held a gun to the driver's head to tell her to act normal. He then shrank to a miniscule size, weapons and all (his weaponry still normally effective at shrunken size), so he was not very easily noticed in the front seats. They then drove on to their destination.
- - - - -
The transport came up, and at that time a scythe goblin seemed to come out of nowhere, growling, hissing, and barking at Ophelia and Banquo, just as Eztli got in first and then Adira. They didn't outright attack the goblin however, because it was on a rather noticable leash, with a young lady at the other end of it.
"I'm so sorry, Gestalt gets so excited easily when he sees other pets!
"Ah, that's fine... But uh, we're about to get into this transport here, so if you don't mind, could we..."
And the transport doors suddenly sealed shut, the vehicle rapidly lifting off into the air, launching off, and vanishing into a quickly made portal. Pretty much everyone stood flabbergasted for a while, the scythe goblin just drooling on the ground. Jacob then snapped out of it, and quickly worked on a portal tracing spell.
- - - - -
"HEY! What's going on!? Take us back! A portal!? Where are you..."
Suddenly, the black merchant in the front seat expanded to his normal size and fired his gun at the reaper's head, instantly making a small neat hole clear threw, splattering colorful blood across the back of the transport. Eztli collapsed, not dead, but only out cold. The driver screamed.
"Shut up! If you knew anything about reapers you dumb b***h, you know I didn't kill him. Put the hurt on him, yeah, but he's not dead. He's unique, probably going to be useful for making a few extra unexpected bucks. And you, succubus. If you know what's good for you, you'll keep your mouth shut, and do whatever I say! Don't do anything stupid!
The "merchant" was dressed generically like all his fellow crime syndicate sorts were... all in black, in tight fitting robes or clothing, with red eyes glowing out from underneath a hood. Not much else was discernable about him.

Adira was pleasantly licking her ice cream cone when the transport car came. The ice cream was a delightful, sweet flavor. When asked what she wanted Adira stared at the menu, taking in the foreign names before deciding to forgo the menu and judge the ice cream by its color and appearance...Also Banquo's sense of smell helped. She told Rosemary she would like the "Pink one" With the "Bits of red something" in it. Rosemary told the ice cream attendant "Strawberry". Adira filed that away in her brain to recall. "strawberry" was good.
Banquo was licking at a brown one ("Chocolate" Adira remembered the smell from when so long ago her father came bearing a "black market" candy bar--which was actually just a regular candy bar from the mortal world but in hell they were illegal) and Ophelia stuck with...white with chunks of cookie in it ("Cookie dough" ).
Adira paused as the scythe goblin grabbed her pets' attention but as the woman explained, Adira relaxed and folded herself into the seat next to Eztli. A strange combination of characters together. Adira might have felt more comfortable with Rosemary or Black. She still wasn't sure about this reaper...She didn't get much time to reflect about this, however.
The door slammed shut.
Then they were gone.
Ban's fur stood on end, Phe's lips were pulled back in a ferocious growl. They barked. Phe's eyes flashed, Ban's legs shook. These hell hounds were angry.
----
Adira let out a small squeak of a scream only to be cut short and topped by the driver's scream. Eztli. Her body shook. She touched the area around his wound...unsure what to do before she remembered the robe was still in her bag. She carefully tore a piece from it and tied it around Eztli's head. This was during the reprimand that the Trader gave to the driver. This was before he spoke to Adira.
A constant Chorus repeated in her head.
Not again...not again...not again... Adira's eyes glowed slightly but nothing happened. She kept her mouth shut. Though inside she was screaming in desperation.
Where would this dealer take them?

Veni stirred a little at Jacob's use of magic, but didn't seem to wake up blissfully unaware of what just happened.
Rosemary had to fold her arms together to prevent herself from punching and breaking something... as she waited for Jacob to give her some direction. If he could narrow it down... air and shadows are everywhere after all. "In broad daylight... in a semi-busy area... does this kind of stuff happen so often to the average resident of this cursed realm... at least Eztli is with her..."
Growl voice, "Isn't someone going to call the police?"
Sephiroth calmly vanished and looked for Thas to tell him what had happened.

Galantros was already calling the authorities on his wrist computer, and the girl with the pet scythe goblin seemed to be doing the same with an earring she was wearing. Jacob meanwhile had his eyes shut and was focusing on his magic.
"Almost... There! Somewhere west of here, but the trail is quickly growing faint. They're far distance, but if I had to guess... I'd say past Dalos city, into Shar City."
The necromancer immediately opened a vortex into the midsts of the large city, all the while wondering who could have... of course...
"It's most likely black merchants and their slave trades..."
- - - - -
If Adira where to look out the window of the transport, she would have seen a vast difference in cityscapes between Kithos, where she had been, and Shar. Kithos seemed to be a wonderfully living, breathing city, warm and with various beings enjoyinig every day life... only the shopping centers had been crowded, and even then not too much so, but not too empty either. Shar city, at least the part where they were travelling through, was... quite frankly, a slum... a dump. Trashy, worn down, and depressive. There seemed to be miles of makeshift outdoor shops and slums everywhere. Buildings were partially destroyed or run down, with the occasional scene of crime happening before their eyes.
Even in the bright, colorful energy-sky of day, they seemed to pull into a dark, dank streets, the driver listening to the cold muttering's of the black merchant that held them hostage, until they reached a certain area. He forced everyone out of the transport, then paused, sensing Jacob's tracking magic on the vehicle. Snarling, he reached into his cloak and attached an electronic device to the thing, then smashed a few controls inside the transport. Immediately, it went past them, zipping across several streets, until it careened into a building and exploded.
Their captor was soon joined by several others of his type, who took the fire angel off Adira's hands, and guided them through the streets, blindfolded. Soon it was colder, and there was a strench in the air, with the ambience of sobbing, pleading, yelling, and banging of metal doors. Adira was shoved suddenly, and a loud slamming of a heavy door sounded behind her.
"Stay in there, and don't cause any trouble. Pretty face like yours oughta fetch a few bucks. Your boyfriend, whatever he is, should get us a nice sum too. Do anything stupid like hurt yourself or try to escape, and you won't live to regret it..."
Adira's cell was minimalist, her door having a small window with solid bars in it. There was a few dirty cushions on the dirty floor, and if she had to guess, that hole off in the corner was for relieving bodily urges.. The place wasn't pleasant at all.

What are the authorites success rate in retrieving people who are kidnapped by such lowlife? Rosemary didn't ask this out loud because she didn't want to upset the hounds further, so she didn't say this to them.

Adira looked around herself. Slave holdings.
Okay...it will be okay...It's been in worse...Remember Hell.. On second thought, don't. This place, though not nicer in any respects to the furniture was...well, not so bad in feeling. Adira could hear the connotation "pretty face" and "Bucks" sound bad...Wait. A small smirk began to form on Adira's lips...She'd seen Phe and ban playfully "Play dead" and with her shapeshifting abilities, she assumed she could do so too... Or would these people try to have sex with a dead body? She frowned thinking this over.
Adira thought of Eztli. What would happen if she got out but he was still in here? Adi bit her lip...she couldn't just leave him here (No matter how much she wouldn't mind). The people she found kindness in would mind and maybe...maybe they'd send her back to Heegh's waiting arms and devilish personality. Yes, best wait. Adira sat in a particularly dry (Or as dry as it could be in this place) corner, against a wall, her bum on the floor. No way would she trust those cushions, she'd rather bruise her bum then get these new clothes dirty (or dirtier anyway).
Adira's foot played an old childhood nursery rhyme and the heel made its faint sound. Her voice came out melodic as she started to sing softly to herself to try to calm down...Strangely, the cells around her grew quiet. She shouldn't be loud enough to go through the walls... She heard shifting and paused breaths. Could they hear her?

I'm honestly not entirely sure, Rosemary. If I had to guess, I'd say about a fifty percent rate... Kidnappings aren't really supposed to happen outside of Shar city, and even then, only near Black Merchant Center, so this is especially crazed of them.
- - - - -
A groan came from the cell next to Adira's, and the sound of rustling movement could be heard. Finding a hole in the wall between the two cells, she was able to spy Eztli getting up from his prone position, holding his head.
"Errruuugggh... It aches AND it's numb, how is that possible. Randomized energy shot maybe? I feel so weak."
Eztli examined his surroundings, his wings non-existant except for a pair of single flames dimly burning off the back of his shoulders. He grimaced as a creature squeaked and scuttled past his foot, something resembling a rat with multiple eyes, jaws, and tails, and much more grimey. He muttered "ugh, ekrafts" in disgust, before discovering the hole in the wall himself.
"Adira? ..Is that you in there? I'll try to find a way to get us out."
He walked up to his prison door, and tried to create an extreme burst of heated flame to melt it down... only to stumble in weakness. He gave the metal door a kick in frustration
"I'm too weak to burn anything down just yet, or open any portals for that matter... We might be here for a little while."

"Let's go before someone arrives and tells us no." She looked at Phe... I would release you, but you're sparking.
With her hair holding Jacob on her back like some sort of harness, she began to run in the direction he was sensing the portal energy he was tracking... Her pace started off at a normal speed at first, that got faster and faster until she was running about as fast as she could go.
She would see if the hounds could keep up or if they were faster than her. why did Limbo have to be so large... She was easily able to run through people without hitting them or their notice, and when a row of buildings were in her way, instead of running through it like she normally would have, she ran up the wall to the roof.
------
One of the outside people put a charm on Eztli's door that cause the whole room to drop several degrees.

Banquo nipped at his mate to calm her down. Ophelia heard Rosemary's words and focused on her breathing, calming herself. Though the air and ground around her sizzled, Ophelia wasn't sparking anymore.
Rosemary took off Ophelia's leash and she and Banquo started running, also sprinting faster and faster. Banquo, the faster one, was almost a body length away in front of Ophelia and Rosemary. Ban easily dodged the people around him with practiced ease. Ophelia did so as well, with less grace but still with ease.
-----
Adira nodded before realizing that Eztli couldn't see her, "Yes...It's me." She shivered slightly as she listened to what was going on in his cell.
"We can take as long as you need...just...what if they sell us?" This was said quietly, "I...I may be able to help get us out. If you need me to."

Eztli glowered at the drugging of Adira, but he didn't say anything. Slowly, he was recovering his strength, but was being careful not to let his wings reveal by allowing them to flare up any. Once the drugger went away and the area was clear, he tried to check on Adira.
"Adira? Are you alright? Argh, if only they didn't take away my equipment..."
Eztli made prayers for quick strength and recovery, though quietly so he wouldn't be heard.

When Sephiroth made it to the Soul Fortress, he found it surprisingly... empty. Searching the large grounds, he found fast trails of light zipping through to the outside, back to where the Soul Portals where, moving into Heaven's gate. One of the lights slowed, and suddenly took on the form of an angelic, stopping in front of Sephiroth.
"Can I help you?"

The lack of activity confused Sephiroth. Had something happened here too while they were out? Mutiny or something? After following the lights for a little while one of them suddenly stopped in front of him, changed it's form, and asked in a pleasant sounding voice if he could help him.
"I wished to tell Thas something. Do you know where he is?"

"Thas? Oh, yes.... Well, he's in Heaven at the moment. Talking a case over with the Overseers about issues with angels here at the Soul Fortress. In fact, that's part of what's going on right now, a sort of 'change of guard'...."
As more of the zipping lights went into the portal of Heaven, suddenly, lights starting pouring back out, turning into angels that Sephiroth had, for the most part, never really seen before.

The dart struck Adira's side, precariously close to her breast. It was most obviously her fullest area. She wanted to curse the darter. He was, afterall, not playing a game of darts! Adira imagined her breast was the center of the target perhaps...
Adira tried not to think of that. Actually...she didn't need to think of it. The effects of a mellowing drug were surprisingly strong on the Succubus' form. They affected her immediately as her body slumped. Her empathetic nature was going haywire. She tasted the anguish in the air but her body wouldn't do anything. Her heart beat was irregular, soft. She let out a soft whimper.
"...They shot me in the boob!" She cried as loud as her weak body allowed--which was about as loud as a regular speaking voice.
