Alice began to protest an escort, but suddenly felt the world spin beneath her feet. "....fine...." she mumbled, feeling weak. She held her Ray Bans over her eyes, trying to ignore the stares of the other students. Once in the hallway, her eyes slowly wandered to look up at Rhys. ".....so what did happen?" Alice was trying to distract herself from the dizziness in her mind.

(( And also, apparently some of my posts have disappeared for some reason... weird. I was SURE I made at least one other post during the waiting period.))

Zared heard the explosion, and quickly went under the table, shaking. Not that he was so completely and totally terrified that he wet his pants a little. No, of course not. He was just looking for his pencil, which fell during the explosion. Yeah... that was it. Let's go with that. He felt bad for the girl that got hurt, though. But, for some reason, he felt even more relieved that he himself came out O.K., which was kind of selfish of him.

Rhys and Rhea

Rhys walked alongside Alice, keeping an eye on her as he did. He'd had a neighbor in the psych ward once who had a habit of cutting his wrists and had come upon him before the orderlies a few times before. Rhys knew exactly what deep cuts could do.
"No clue." He said in response to Alice's question. "My best guess is that the temperature was set too high...it's odd though, I made sure it would stay at 100 degrees and I only took my eyes off it for a moment."
A moment was all Rhys could spare, as fire often attracted him better than even the most ignorant of moths.

Rhea stood next to the chemical spill on the table for a few awkward moments. It was going to take a long time to clean up.
"What are we gonna do about clean up, Mr. Boshka?" She asked the teacher.

Alice raised an eyebrow. "Really now? That's quite odd..." Her step faltered slightly, but she regained her composure within a second. Not good.....not good at all........ she chewed on her bottom lip in thought as she continued to press the blood-soaked paper towel to the wound. "Just a moment? Hm......" Alice shrugged. "I have no clue."

Diz



Diz pushed himself off the wall with his back and walked over to his two lab partners. "I'm outta here, have fun." He said to the pair and kicked his skateboard out from under the desk. Jumping on the skateboard he rolled towards the door which had once again been left open waving a hand just above his head. "Later Boshka!" He called out as he went out the doorway and rolled into the hall. Diz rolled past Rhys and Alice as they headed towards the nurses office. "Hope you feel better soon." He called out as he carried on speeding down the hall weaving his skateboard. Well that was kind of fun, and I got the strips. He thought to himself as he neared the exit at the front of the school.

Mr. Boshka was about to answer Rhea when Diz road out of the room. HE saighed and shook his head. 'He's going to be a problem.' He thought to him self and turned to RHea. "Well the beel is going to ring soon and I have a free period next so you dont have to worry about a thing." He said and smiled.


"Show off.." Azumi mumbled as she watched Diz ride out the door. SHe looked up at the clock and noticed they only had maybe 10 minutes or so left. SHe picked up her skateboard then and walked out the door. "See ya" She called out as she left. She was halfway out of the school when someone called her name.

"Azumi!" Called Ms. Heen down the hall to her.
Azumi stopped and turned around. "Ms. Heen?" She said in somewhat surprise.

Ms. Heen came up next to her and smiled. "Dont worry your not in trouble." She said seeing her students surprise. "I just wanted to remined you to come to my house after school today. Im also assuming that you already met Diz and I need to speak to him aswell. He doesnt know where my house is however so could you please find him and tell him?"

"Sure.." Azumi said and nodded. She watched Ms. Heen smile and walk away before hopping on her skate board and ride out the exit to the school. 'Now where would he be...'

Diz



Diz hadn't made it very far from the school before he'd found something distracting to do for a while. He put a foot to the ground bringing himself to a halt just outside a construction yard. Fun! He thought to himself as he watched the labourers working, pushing his foot off the ground Diz rolled onto the site. Getting low he began to pick up speed as he rolled down a ramp narrowly missing one of the workers, he could hear shouts and other comotion from behind him but he didn't pay attention to what they were shouting, and then the downward ramp stopped and began to go back up. Diz had managed to pick up enough speed too successfully ramp off the top of the upwards ramp. As he flew through the air Diz spun his board underneath him and twisted a few times before landing and gently rolling out the other side of the construction site. Leaping off his board Diz sat on a bench across the road from the site with his eyes closed, head tilted back and one foot on his board. Now that was fun!

Rhys and Rhea

Rhea nodded in response to Mr. Boska's answer.
"Ok. I would stay to help, but I can't miss my next class. We're having a test." She said.
Not that it would kill Rhea to miss a test, but she also wanted to make sure Rhys and Alice had gotten to the nurse's office safely. She patiently waited for the bell to ring, vacating the room with an odd speed and finding Rhys and Alice a minute later as she her next class was very close to the main office where the nurse was located. Instead of approaching them, Rhea simply took a look and turned her way once she was satisfied that they would be fine. She would simply leave her class after the test and meet up with Rhys, who would probably be waiting for her somewhere close to the office.

Rhys had looked at Alice the moment she spoke, meaning that the falter in her step hadn't gone unnoticed. His gaze shifted from her face to her arm as she continued to speak. It didn't seem like she was keeping enough pressure on the cut. Without a word Rhys took Alice's hand and pulled her arm close enough for examination, stealing the paper towel from her and applying pressure.
"You need to keep more pressure on it, at least until we get to the nurse. She'll probably have a tourniquet or something." He said nonchalantly as they continued to walk, keeping the pressure on Alice's arm.
Rhys had passed the nurse's office when he had followed Rhea out of the office, so he had a pretty good notion of where it was.

Alice's steps were a bit slower than usual. She was trying to keep up with Rhys, but she felt her body slow. When he suddenly grabbed her arm, Alice opened her mouth to protest, but realized he was only helping with the wound. With cheeks reddening in embarrassment, she turned her head to the side as they walked. "Thanks." she mumbled.

Rhys and Rhea

Rhys blinked a few times when Alice thanked him, trying to decide whether or not she had actually just said that. He couldn't remember the last time a stranger, the term he used for any not-Rhea person that wasn't in an authoritative position and whom he didn't know, had thanked him for anything. Well, there was that one guy who thanked Rhys after he'd managed to set his car on fire with an out of control trash burn, but it could have just as easily been sarcasm. He was relatively certain that Alice wasn't being sarcastic.
"Uhh...you're welcome?" Rhys replied, somewhat hesitatingly and with an air of unsureness about answering.
He unconsciously began slowing his pace as they neared the nurse's office.

Rhea sat down in her usual place in her English class, waiting for the rest of the students to file in. The test promised to be simple, as it was mostly multiple choice with a short essay tacked onto the end. She smiled to herself as she pulled out a pencil that she earmarked specifically for test taking. This test was going to be cake, all about Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. Rhea just hoped that the guy she had helped to study for the exam would show up and do well. She was relatively confident on that point, he did get rather excited about the giant squid and the name of the submarine.

Alice looked up to see the nurse's office. "Oh....thank god....." She began to get tunnel vision, her legs slowly going limp. As her face whitened, Alice's eyes slowly began to close, unable to fight to keep them open. Her legs finally gave way. Alice's body became limp as she fell to the ground. Her Ray Bans fell off her head, landing with a soft clacking sound.

Rhys and Rhea

Rhys looked over at Alice when she spoke, wondering why her voice sounded so tired. It couldn't have had anything to do with the blood loss and the walk, not at all. He watched as she slowed down, her weight increasing on his shoulder until she slipped and fell on the ground unconscious with sunglasses flying off. That couldn't be good. Rhys calmly knelt down next to Alice, feeling her pulse and then proceeding to poke her a few times once he was satisfied that she hadn't died on him. She didn't stir, telling Rhys that he would have to carry her into the nurse's office. Well, as long as the nurse didn't recognize him and didn't try to detain him, things would probably be ok. Probably. Rhys picked Alice up after placing her sunglasses into his pocket, maneuvering her onto his back since he had little upper body strength, and carried her the rest of the way to the nurse's office.
"Anyone here? I've got this girl who just passed out on me, she cut her wrist in class and I think the blood loss has gotten to her." He called, prompting a flurry of motion and the quite fussy nurse to come forward.
Kinda fast for one wrist... He thought as the nurse ushered him into a side room.
"Hurry! Get her on the bed!" The nurse urged Rhys, motioning to the cot.
He flopped Alice onto the bed and stepped back as the nurse began her frantic work. Why in the world would she be so worried about someone who'd gotten their wrist cut?

Meanwhile in English class Rhea was still waiting for her teacher to show up and administer the test. She had gotten there a little early but class was due to begin in the next 5 minutes.

Alice groaned softly as she felt her body being lifted onto something. Sleeping deeply, her breath softly left her lips, her head bent over Rhys' shoulder. In her subconscious, she could barely make out the sounds around her. As she was placed on the cot, Alice moaned slightly.

About 20 minutes later, Alice's eyes slowly opened. "Nnnngh........wha......?" She realized her Ray Bans weren't covering her eyes. Her hand instantly flew over her eyes.
