Louisa Iris I never realized I was doing it until I was into High School, where we were given sex education conservatively (don't ask how). I never thought of it as bad when I was young, mostly smelly. But I was once caught by my mom, and she told the whole family about it. I don't think it made much impact to them because I was very young back then. But I was embarrassed, so I stopped for a while. Then, I started doing it again, because let's face it, it's good.
I never really came yet, so I don't really know if I'm doing it right. But I'm afraid of breaking my hymen, mostly because I'm scared of what my future husband would think of me when he finds out that it's broken. And another reason is because I'm afraid it might hurt a lot.
Personally, I think masturbating's not that bad. It's some form of safe sex: you can have all the pleasure you want without fear of getting pregnant. But it also makes me wonder how the real sex feels like.
Hymens aren't all they're cracked up to be, y'know. xd Some girls are born without them, and sometimes they get "broken," stretched, or torn by doing athletic activities, horseback riding, etc. Personally, I'd think it would suck less to go ahead and take the risk of stretching or tearing it when you're by yourself rather than waiting until you're having sex for the first time for it to go. That was what I did, anyway. Then the first time I had sex it didn't particularly hurt, and I didn't bleed.
And honestly, I've never met a guy who was remotely concerned with the state of my hymen. Most of them probably wouldn't know the difference anyway!

I dunno, I'm guess I'm just scared that's all. Scared that it might hurt a lot, and scared that I might get caught. My aunt and I have our periods pretty much at the same time, and she does the laundry at our place. So, she might ask questions if there's some blood on my underwear or something. My parents would kill me if they get the wrong picture, so I'd rather not risk it sweatdrop

Sometimes even using a tampon can break it, if mine broke I never noticed. Then again I could have been born without one. One day it'll probably become vestigial LOL As for your future husband, he'll love you no matta what :3
