((Oooookay. Major lack of activity here; I'll just assume that it's been four hours...))
Deep stasis wake timer has been deducted to one minute, seventeen seconds and fourty-eight miliseconds. Re-virus 0090 has begun to take effect at 2.29 out of 4.00 hours. Virus effect is spreading at a steady rate, issued a level six YR. Project Upsilon will be awaking shortly. Estimated wake-up time is 26 seconds.
The bubbles in the tube started to flow again, and the fluid inside turned from white to a light-colored green.
Estimated wake-up time has been depleted. Project Upsilon will awaken in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, initiating wake-up now... Good morning, Upsilon.
The creature awoke with a start and looked around. The same old sight, exactly as it was every single time. Whenever it slept, it had dreams... glimpses of a world better than this, a world where it was free. Once it was awakened, the creature began to despair once again.
Project Upsilon's senses have returned to their average rates, and are no longer dropping. Now applying mutagen 104-45. Calculations indicate that Project Upsilon's hearing, smell and sight will increase by 1.2% after application of mutagen 104-45. Applying mutagen 104-45 in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Mutagen 104-45 has been successfully pplied, and is already beginning to take effect on Project Upsilon.
At that second, the creature's muscles swelled and tightened, becoming larger and more toned. It's shoulders also increased in size. It was becoming more of a monster now... Would it ever be able to escape this hell? It peered downward at the scientists as they typed away at their computers and replaced tubes with new tubes, filling them with different kinds of mutagen and nutritional fluids. It stared down at Yani and Devon ((who were presumably still standing there)) and glared at them, its eyes alive and lit with hatred. It recognized that face. That was the face of the man who created it.
"Sirs," the scientist said, "Upsilon is now ready to be fed... If you still want to sneak in that sedative, now is the time to do it."

Sko slowly came into awareness on the metal table.
"Vitals stable." Said a voice. "Cryogenic awakening completed successfully. Chimera will be subject to further testing in the morning."
Scientist. She remembered vaguely. The tank which she was preserved in, the warm fluid. The intrigue of the Scientists over her survival. unlike my brothers she recalled. Her brothers had both died in the tanks. She had survived only because her genes had been meshed better. For this she cursed God. If only she had died. The tests would never happen.
But, they would. She knew they would happen soon.
She opened one eye, let it adjust to the dim light. The scientist was tall and silhouetted in darkness. And there was something else. Hiccadu. She remembered that name very well, and cringed at the memory. The scientist exited quietly, while the thing continued to stare at her. It bared its fangs, and smiled threateningly, then slowly followed her master.
Sko looked about. She examined the I.V. jacked into her arm, the strong metal belts around her wrists and legs. She blew a strand of hair out of her face and tried to see beyond this. It was very dim and she was tired. She could make out machinery of some sort to her left, probably to monitor her. To her right was a small chrome table, with an array of needles on it. Each labeled neatly and set aside. Next to the needles was a key, presumably to the bands that held her so tightly. Like a hug. she thought. Then blew the thought away. How silly. A hug. There was no such thing.
She sighed and closed her eyes, slipping back into the deep sleep she had been in for two years.

((Okay, what's with the lack of people posting? We have WAY more members in here than are actually posting. O.o))
Upsilon watched as the gelatinous substance was released into its experimental chamber, the gooey mass of nutritious... stuff... floating about and separating inside the mutagen, their molecular structure unfettered by the high acidity of the fluid in which the chimera was "bathing". Eying the chunks of gray jelly and feeling its hunger take over, Upsilon began to jerk about slowly, sucking the food into its open mouth like a fish. It began to eat faster, and faster, and faster, until the machine was having trouble keeping up. This happened very frequently.
"Increase output by fifty percent..." whispered one scientist to another, the one at the computer typing in the command. The machine began to let the food into the tank faster now, satisfying Upsilon's hunger down to the last synthetic blob. It had ingested the sedative planted by Yani and Devon in the process.
Project Upsilon has finished its rations. Initiating mutagen purification in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Purifying now.
A small turbine-like mechanism at the bottom of the tank began to spin around quickly, eliminating the thousands of tiny food particles that floated around inside Upsilon's tank and leaving nothing but pure mutagen.
Purification complete. Project Upsilon's energy reserves have been successfully replenished to 97.5817 percent. Next required feeding time: 96 hours. Project Upsilon is ready for mutagen trials.

((Hopefully I'm going to give them some interaction soon and we can see how many people still keep up with Chimera :/))
Yani was currently overseeing the awakening of another Chimera, but he had left instructions with Devon to ready Upsilon for the arena. John was down there already. His surgery had healed on the surface due to the Chimera's rapid healing capabilities, so they were able to take the stitches out.
He was just about to wake up.
Where am I?
John opened his eyes, feeling the last of the sedative wear off him. A memory ran through his mind, just a vision of him looking up at Yani and Devon, feeling anger poison his mind. The Chimera straightened up, cursing as his head hit a metal ceiling in the dark. It wasn't a cage he was in, but it was some kind of cell. It was something he had never been subjected to before. His first thought was that it was some new kind of experiment. His second was that he was locked in the Isolation Room, which gave him shudders. John's face paled. Not a Chimera alive had escaped nightmares of TAIS's most punishing invention once they'd heard of it.
John's breathing became shallow, and he moved around in the hopes of finding some exit. Four walls surrounded him, and the ground was hard, packed dirt. The bottom of the slaughterhouse, perhaps? But why was there dirt where the foundation should be?
