xDDD The Flock it is then, or just "Flock". xD I'll go about setting up a "LFPlots: The Flock" thread using the mule soon, so if you need people for X plots, post your plots in the thread for others to read... Its like LR without the love!
I'll also post plots that will affect the whole Flock there, so it'll be like a notice board. 8D

I have an "unofficial" Map to the east of the official map (I am trying to talk staff into the possible expanding of the world since, as it is, its far too small for how many soquili there are.) Right now this is what I've been using for Cuauhcoatl's semi-private territory. I can get you a blank version if you desire to choose a local for the herd that ISN'T possibly already taken. biggrin And I would say they were there for a week or so before realizing, since the other herd has a large enough territory that they might not have encountered them immediately. That would give time for the current Rps to make sense in their original local. Edit: For example

Aaaaaaand also! It's far enough away from the other flock that any advances would not be an accident, but an attack, so that clears up any of the confusion.

I like the red hair better! 83
@Mind I really like this idea. :3 It would fix the issue we seem to be having. But I'll go with what drag wants.
Speaking of drag.
@Drag Um. xD Anya keeps screaming at me that she's been a part of the flock for a while so maybe she could be one of the sisters that followed the queen down from the homelands to kawani? If thats okay. :3 -Can not use AIM since I'm on the hotel's computer.-

Yay for birdy Morse code!
Also, red hair on the avatar. . . and . . . . generic herd stuff is what most of soquili seems to do. Unlike SoA they don't often have coloured 'claimed' version of the map. Soquili roam where they please and everyone realizes that the map is small and herds fit wherever on it.
They jut make sure that ICly, they're not stepping on others borders or boundaries. The world is much larger than the map claims. . . So no worries there!
heart Even with Epee's Islagiatt, there's more mountains than they claim. *grins* So you could still have a herd in the mountains or foothills, and just claim it wasn't near Islagiatt or near the other mountainous regions.
*supports whatever you decide to do* heart

Ooo, loads of great ideas being pondered!!
Love the bird call code idea!
Regarding the 'official' map, since the map shows no scale, I think that general descriptions would work just fine to let loads of herds wander around. If mountains are truly mountains, they are BIIIIG and their foothills would have loads of room for multiple herds. That being said, Luinil loves the location on mindsend's 'expanded' map by the river at the foot of the mountains by the forest. xd
Luinil: *delicately honing her talons* Good hunting territory.
Regarding human NPC's, while I don't think the harpies would steal children 'cause it tends to make the two-leggers upset, wouldn't it be possible that the occasional runaway teenage female (there seem to be a lot of these among people's native personas, lol) might just stumble across the flock and be drawn in by the harpy/amazonian ideals or just the lure of "ooo, pretties"?
Lastly, I prefer the red hair on the Flock avatar. heart

Red hair wins! xD
For the territory, we shall use Mind's idea since most of you seem to be up for that. :3 Hopefully that clears up the territory problem!
Unlike most people, I can be quite busy with stuff over the weekends, but I'll be around at night (um, that's morning for people in the US and late afternoon for those in the UK) to answer questions and what-not! I welcome questions, so please ask if you have them!
Poll - Sure! x3

That and children small 'outcast' groups, or Hermits in general (there are a lot of those as native OC's as well). Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if a small group that worships a specific spirit type, like the hawk or eagle, might take to seeing the Harpies as Avatars of the spirits much like they see themselves as the children, and willingly worship them once they find out about them. There are sects and cults all over the place in reality, after all. They may give like.. Their first kid to them to do with as they wish. Might have even followed them from their old land. I still say though, they should be around the area they were in originally after their first move ICly but pre getting out of another herd's territory. They wouldn't be discovered instantly, since its seems to be a fairly large range, and the other herd may not have been in the area in force for a while. Once discovered though they head off again with what they have to keep and go traveling to the new location.

Hey sister, go sister, soul sister, flow sister~ Name: EchoLimaFoxtrot Soquili's name & cert: Scaunah Gora Reason for joining: I think it sounds like a lot of fun! It would be great to RP with a group like this with Scaunah, a sister harpy, and maybe even kick my butt in gear. IC reason for joining: If accepted, I am planning on having had Scaunah grow up with other harpies and moved with them. So I guess she won't have "joined", per say. Desired rank and reason: Guard - she's more of a loner (not entirely), so would prefer the 'alone time' offered by patrolling. Also, she's incredibly dedicated to the flock, and to her, nothing would be more important than protecting it and its shinies. AIM?: Yes? TheFalconElf Do you acknowledge that you understand the Flock's practices?: Yes, I do so acknowledge ((Note: I am extremely busy with RL. Like, really busy. I intend to be as active as I can but I cannot commit to a great deal. It was another reason that I wanted Scaunah to be a guard - if I disappear for a couple weeks, hopefully I won't keep too many people waiting ))
