Halek-Jeun hunched over to where he had one hand on the ground, growling as he glowered at the Techie army as he listened to the footsteps of the citizens fleeing behind him. He would wait until they were out of range or if a soldier fired at him to attack. For now though, silence swept through the city square, until moments later, a soldier raised his gun and aimed at the demon wolf. Right as he pulled the trigger, Halek-Jeun had launched himself from his spot, plowing through the frontlines, slashing through flesh, bone, and occasionally metal as he thrashed wildly. His form had slightly weakened his barrier though, but he kept it up; it would buy him time when he had to escape. As soon as he sensed that there were no more civilians, he suddenly turned his head upward and let out a ground-shaking howl, his barrier suddenly shattering into pieces and flying outward into the masses of foot-soldiers before he vanished from where he stood.

Mika-Chuin remained silent as she allowed herself to be magically transported out of Urgalis with the woman she now knew as Inola. As they reached their destination, she immediately heard various voices in the back of her mind as her sandaled feet connected with the earth, undoubtedly from the life around them. It was familiar to her from her childhood, growing up with the pack; she had been the one of the six siblings with the close connection to nature and deep fascination with it. Her ears pivoted around as she raised her gaze to the canopy, where she could see the sky through the branches. There was no trace of another one of the floating cities though, let alone the one they had just left her brother on. She maintained her calm composure though, looking back to Inola as she began to walk behind her, her tail flicking in uncertainty.

Halek-Jeun reappeared on the ground, miles away from the destruction in the skies. He felt something thick and wet dripping through the fur on his shoulder, though didn't quite feel any pain from it yet. A bullet must've hit him just as he vanished from the fight. His magic was just about shot from keeping that barrier up and shattering it to pieces, so he had to wait until it was replenished. Unfortunately, that would take a few hours or more, which meant he wouldn't be able to heal himself for a while, so he decided not to take his humanoid form until then, concerned about what would happen if he shifted back with such an injury. Looking around, his ears turning back as he did so, he sniffed at the air, mostly to figure out if there were any other people around. Anyone, in general. Some scents, among which was of his own blood, were very faint, but they were still there. That was enough of a lead for him.
Despite being able to stand upright as a demon wolf, he had to lower himself to all fours to walk, first testing to see if he could put weight on his right arm. It shook slightly and pain suddenly shot through the limb, almost making him fall forward. Oh yeah. That bullet definitely hit at bone in there. He could tolerate the pain from it once it let up for that moment, but just had to not use that arm too much. Limping as he went, he set off in search of numbers to stay with until he recovered.

Mika-Chuin stayed at Inola's side, having to take almost twice as many steps as she did just to keep up. Her ears were both turned forward when the fire witch mentioned voices. Subconsciously, the trees seemed to take some of her sight from her body, projecting it far ahead so that she could see what they "saw," one of her bright red eyes casting an almost eerie glow. Half of her vision passed between at least maybe forty or fifty trees before bringing her sight to a.... camp? Why would a camp have cages? They were all big enough to hold dozens of people; what the hell was this? She tensed as she walked along, her jaw clenched as she felt her anger starting to rise, resisting the urge to growl. She hated cages. She hated anything to do with imprisonment.
(( My sister's gonna take over Mika's character soon. Waiting on her. ^>.>^ ))
