Jae was jittery as she made her way to the gates. This was her first outside mission without supervision. She was more than willing to get this underway. She jumped onto a perch a good distance away from the gates in order to give herself more leverage. She could see people standing by the gate but as she placed her hand to her forehead to block out the sun and reflection it cast across her face she knew it wasnt the Ramen Shop owner. Letting out a sigh of impatience, she looked around at the roads the led up to the gates. Someone was walking along them now, someone she was willing to wager was the Ramen Shop owner. Jumping down from the roof top, she landed with a graceful thud and foot pivot, skirting toward the approaching man. "Excuse me sir. Are you the Ramen Shop owner?" The man looked a little surprised to see her approach him but his following smile waved off any suspicion he might have had against her. "Yes, are you the Shinobi escort?" Jae nodded, smiling in turn. "I'll protect you with my life, I swear!" She said, her tone higher pitched and a lot more animated than usual. Falling into step with the shop owner, she chit chatted with him as they made their way to the gate. After getting clearance they were on their way, Jae immediately filling the silence in with teenage gossip about the village. The man took it in stride, laughing along with her every now and then. Of course the closer they got to Suna Jae knew they wouldn't be able to chat so leisurely so she took advantage of being close to home.

Today begins the start...
As Shade was placed down, she went to argue with Reiko about the whole meaning of this, but her train of thought was cut off as she was directed towards a woman in front of her. Shade listened to the introduction and her ears flicked slightly.
"A jerk like you has a mate!?" Shade exclaimed, giving off her first impression as blunt and ignorant. Without a further pause, Shade was curious to figure more out about this woman. She approached her without hesitation, her emerald cat-like eyes peering into the females.
"Your really pretty!" She exclaimed happily and started to pace a circle around Eclipse. Her eyes scanned almost every inch of the poor woman.
"NYAH! Why does everyone have such big boobies!?" She cried out then fell deathly silent as another voice came from the darkness. The scent of dog was thick around this area, and it was all over the woman too. Shade turned slowly and locked her eyes on the massive mutt a few feet away. The swaying tail behind her slowly puffed out and her pupils dilated. She seemed frozen for a second, like a natural defence was kicking in, then finally she spoke.
"Yes... and I see your from a wolf tribe. I was raised by ninja cats, so I'm considered a summoning cat from heritage~Nyah," Shade flicked her tail slightly.
"I've never met another ninja companion before," Shade seemed to know alot about summoning animal pacts and what not by the way she spoke to the wolf. She was surly a strange child.

Today begins the start...
With the sudden approach, Shade knew coming in for a direct attack was foolish, but sometimes it caught ninja off guard. Reiko was no pushover though, and Shade got that idea when he sidestepped and snatched onto her. The feeling of gravity pulling against her made her body lash out, and her leg barely missed his body as he tossed her away. Shade whipped through the air and twisted her body. She slammed against the brick wall of the gate, but in a way so she was unharmed. She landed on her stuffed pawns and the tips of her feet, crouching down. Upon contact, her sticky chakra kept her glued to the wall, and she purred softly. Her emerald eyes narrowing in pure enjoyment. Her tail swayed slowly for a moment, then with a powerful leap, Shade sliced through the air towards Reiko. While closing the gap, Shade slapped her large paws together and suddenly a white serpent came rocketing out of the darkness of her hood. Its fangs bared and body coiling. It was aiming to strike at the Uchiha head on. While the serpent was coming for him, Shade was also still closing in for impact. Her goal was to full body tackle him, since she always did enjoy hugging people~

Kiya and Bain were coming up on the gates when they noticed a group of people. They seemed to be sparring, though, the reason was unclear. As Bain and Kiya slowly walked down the path, they didn't make a sound except the crunching of dirt under their boots. As they neared, the saw a wolf, a cat type creature, a man with red eyes and, by the smell of it, a pregnant female. Kiya could tell she was pregnant by the way she held herself, she also smelled of children too. The lady must be very far into her birthing for herself to be smelling it Kiya concluded. Stepping up behind the group, Kiya asked in a plain voice. "What are they doing?" As she stepped to the ladies side. Instantly, Bain's weary glance went to the wold next to the woman. With a slight growl, he barred his teeth and went to sit protectively by Kiya where she absentmindedly began to scratch his head.
