Eternal Rain Forest

[Dainar Inferni]

Haru wasw having no luck finding Howaido. Haru stopped walking and held his breath. Maybe he could hear Howaido breathing? No, he let out his breath that wouldn't work. He certainly couldn't hear the ninja so why would he give his position away by breathing loudly? Haru remembered something that he read in a scroll library some time ago. There was a technique that would allow the user to sense an opponent's chakra. He tried to remember how to perform it but it wouldn't come to him. Silently he cursed himself and looked around again with no luck.  

[Qastor]

As Haru seemed to give up Howaido let loose a massive swing from his cleaver, it was so quick it let loose a slicing air just nulled by his own control to send Haru flying back at an immense speed into a tree. Howaido flickered back into view as he canceled his jutsu early,"Never give up, run or fight, but do not ever stand still. For doing nothing will only ever get you-..." as Haru blinked his eyes open he would only see the massive cleaver flung at him and slamming a foot into the tree trunk literally next to his head. "...Dead!" Howaido truly had mastered the art of using his cleaver to be able to fling it from so far away and perfectly land it into the trunk of a tree directly touching Harus head. "Come, on you can do something, you are never out of options, there is always something you havent thought of or havent tried yet!"

Haru for the first time in his life was scared. Adreniline rushed through his veins but he stayed calm. Haru smashed his fist into the tree making it shatter from the force, it broke and fell down towards Howaido and using that he tried to thrown a punch in Howaido's face.  

[Qastor]

He was rushing now, but it was calculated he was learning to harness the increases that came through an adrenaline rush to his advantage. Your mind rushes and so does your body, you have to calm your mind and use you enhanced senses. "Good good, keep trying, harder!" Howaido rolled down on his side as he dodged the tree and blocked the punch barely, his limb movement was quite restricted during the roll.

Haru kicked a clod of dirt into the air and then kicked at Howaido trying to create another opportunity to attack. He dashed left and threw a punch but pulled back right before it hit and threw a knee towards Howaido's stomach.  

[Qastor]

The dirt screen was a horrible failure, not only did Howaido have on a mask but, he wore goggles beneath it. Howaido grabbed the kick with one hand spinning him away as he flipped back and landed on his toes,"To the left huh?" Howaido dodged the punch by reaching out and grabbing it and as he came forward with the knee, vaulting over him by pushing off and flipping over his shoulder.

Haru landed hard on the ground, coughing as he struggled to recover before Howaido would throw in another attack. He rolled to the right away from Howaido. Haru dashed forward and feint left and then rolled right around Howaido quickly and jumped up with an uppercut.  

[Qastor]

Howaido sliding back from his dodge had already recovered as Haru played stand up fight club. He caught the quick fist and as he fell backwards kicked up into Harus stomach sending him flying over Howaidos body and up into the trees. "Well at least he doesnt give up."  

[Dainar Inferni]

Haru smashed into a tree branch, stars exploded in his vision and he coughed violently as he gasped for air. He fell onto the ground with a loud thud. Unmoving and rather unconscious.  

[Qastor]

"Well, he put up a good fight for a kid, guess I couldnt have asked for a better student." Howaido stood up as he walked over to where Haru lay and crouched down,"Hmm, should get us something to eat too..."

((Time Skip))

Haru woke up, it was already night time and he was hurting all over from the whole days training. He realized that he was in the jungle and there was a small fire about a foot away from him.  

[Qastor]

"About time you woke up," Howaido smiled calmly as he looked back to Haru. "Come sit over here, its warm and Ive got a few cups of ramen left." Howaido held out a fresh steaming plastic cup to the likely hungry boy,"I have another task for you."  

[Dainar Inferni]

Haru limped a little to the fire, trying to get his tired and numb limbs to get some blood flowing through them, by the time he got to the fire he could feel some of the pain in his legs. He sat next to Howaido and took the cup of ramen with both hands. "Sensei, arigatō." Haru ate slowly, savoring his first meal since the morning. The noodles were cooked to perfection, even if it was ramen, it was pretty good. He finished the first cup and looked at Howaido. "Another task?"

"I want you to train here for a month, alone in this rain forest. Im leaving you food and there is plenty of water. I will be back then, can you handle that?" Howaido stood up dusting off his soggy pants,"survival training."  

[Dainar Inferni]

Haru grinned. "Sure, I'll do it. I have nothing better to do." He shivered a little, his back was a little cold.
