One wolf was shot out of the air and the other stumbled past Artemis' pirouette and faceplanted into the ground, wheezing and whimpering heavily. It would not live for long, particularly if it sustained any more damage. The duo had claimed victory over the ravenous wolves.

It was finally over as the wolves were gone, the few left dead. Atsuko was going to check on Artemis when she fainted, falling against him, obviously exhausted from the fight. Hell Atsuko was to but unlike her his leg hadn't gotten bitten, just an arm. Using his good arm then he'd pick her up with a bit of a ping of pain onto his back and head out, taking a leisurely pace away from the forest. Their bite wounds weren't to serious and would clot semi quickly, though he made sure to crudely bandage both of them for now.
