Wordlessly Valen rose back onto his feet at the suggestion of a change of venue between the unfamiliar trio, silently applauding the newcomer for the statement. "Perhaps that would be best, my good sir. Though, before we all part, I would like to ask as to your name. As this is our first meeting, it only seems proper." His words were carefully chosen to maintain his indifferent facade, the vampire acutely aware that only the human couldn't detect the caution measure of his statements. "As for you dear girl, I haven't had the pleasure of your name this entire evening. I really have been slipping up around you." To say that he had been impolite or improper was a drastic understatement of his actions towards Jackie, his gaze staring at her directly into her one working eye. "And I thank you for opening up about your past. I do appreciate learning more about your injury and just why I have bothered you so much approaching your left side." With an apologetic smile the Consort bowed deeply, his midriff bending straight across trying to convey the sincerity of his expression. With that Valen rose back to step over towards Jackie, whispering directly into her ear another barely audible apology. "And I am only somewhat sorry I kissed you unexpectedly-you really are quite a very pretty girl, and I simply could not help myself." Even with the presence of the Cognitio Consort there he refused to be anything less than flirtatious to the human, Paendragon now taking his time to step back outside merely inches from his position invading her personal space yet again. "Now then, my lady, good sir, I hope we all enjoy the rest of the party without....incident." His very last word was directed to Nicholas in somewhat warning, a mere suggestion that events of the night were liable to significant change. After all, Sable would want to learn of another Clan at Wayan's estate, even if he hadn't yet identified the third party immediately.

Jackie growled as once more the man invaded her personal space, her temperature sky-rocketing once more from his flirtatious comment; somehow she got the feeling he was less than sorry for utilizing her handicap to his advantage.
Still glowering at his statement Jackie nodded towards the new male, and evil glint in her eye as, without warning the young woman stomped on Valen’s foot, the heel of her shoe digging in as she lent the entirety of her body wait on it before striding forward as fast as possible, scuttling past the man stood in the door way stopping a few feet away out of his reach as well.
Jackie Stood a few feet away inside the door way, she was still close to the entrance but on the edge of the party, making it a lot harder for valen to corner her after she practicaly jumped on his foot. ignoring his request for her name as she stuck out her toung torwards.

Well Mr Paendragon could certainly put on an act for the human. It was quite flawless. Nicholas admired how the Immortui vampire kept such a calm, collected appearance. He had an unfortunately stereotypical view of them as savages, this was an improvement, above expected behavior.
Nicholas held out his hand for a shake when he was asked for his name. There was little use in giving false information, they would no doubt end up in similar situations in the future and it would just be silly to go by a fake monicker. "My name is Nicholas Sharpe." He stated proudly with a smile on his face. "No doubt we will meet again, Valen Paendragon." Nicholas boasted the fact that he was already a step ahead as far as information went. It was the ultimate weapon he had after all, as part of the Cognitio.
Nicholas stayed in his place but kept a stern eye on the vampire's back as he approached the human one last time. He was uncomfortable with this but would not go out of his way to make a scene. All that he whispered was easy for him to hear considering the advanced hearing of their species. Nick made sure none of his displeasure was displayed on his outer features even as it grew.
When the vampire was finally going, Nicholas replied with a simple bow of his head. 'An incident', that is exactly what he had been worried about, and expecting to some extent.
Then, the girl stomped on the foot of the man and stepped away from him. Nick's eyes widened and, more than anything, he expected a forceful reaction. If the other vampire dared to try and touch the woman now, Nicholas would stop it instantly.
"... It's best we not drag this out. Return to the leash of your mistress, you hound." He whispered, making it only possible for Valen to hear him.

Valen smirked at the stomp from Jackie onto his foot; the impact barely bothered him at all, nor did it ruin his perspective on the girl. As he would said, bold women were his preference and she only made him all the more piqued on her behalf. "Oh darling, don't play so rough with me now," he laughed again so that only she could hear him on her way past to put maximum distance between them. Staring back at her retreating figure he let his smirk widen into a pleased smile, her face still such a lovely scarlet that he would have liked to pursue how much more he could make her heart beat faster. But matters drew his attention back to the third party, his reddish-brown pupils resisting the urge to flare crimson or narrow in distaste. It was a party after all and courtesy was to be expected. At least so long as humans were present, for Jackie would have found his reaction to her ever constantly flirtatious and bothersome, but not quite outwardly rude or condescending.
Towards Nicholas however Valen was not nearly as forgiving. "Perhaps I should say the same of you Cognitio," he hissed back after Jackie fled from his presence. Oh yes, he could place the title of the second in command of the Cognitio Clan; who hadn't heard of a human who voluntarily became the primary Consort after being elevated from his place as a mere librarian back during his humanity? The Immortui simply stood his ground smiling politely back to the other opposing vampire, knowing full and well that he was not about to give into the expectation that he was a savage monster out to kill the human girl for a mere trifling matter. So what if she was frightened of him to the point of inflicting bodily harm? It ultimately didn't matter that much to the older being. He could still enjoy himself bothering her anyway by just invading her space for another kiss (or at least that's what he would like to do at any rate). "If you don't mind, I'd rather not have to deal with you immediately. Neither of us seem to care much for starting undue conflict."
((There it is! The look of the swiper! XD Oh and sorry for taking so long to reply. I had to scan my laptop and prepare lunch.))

Valen was absolutely right. It was no time for bickering. "... We're done." Nicholas stated simply, not even looking at Valen. If there were clan matters to discuss, it would be done later between the Origins. Nicholas would not get into anything further with this consort.
He stepped up to the human with a gentle smile and held out his hand for her to take. "Excuse me, please let me offer you something to drink, or a dance perhaps." Nicholas spoke calmly. He wanted to wash the poor taste of that silly immortui from the mind of the girl. A nice dance would get them away from outside attention for a while.
((Short and sweet for me this time. No extra thought required.))

Continuing the dip and spin with his partner the vampire had successfully to an extent began to clear the dance floor around them. The human's slowly backing up forming a sort of circle around them as a clap to the music began to rise up from a few of them. The music tempo if on cue began to increase spurring Kael to speed there dance up a tad bit to keep in time. Each strum, beat, and sound of the instruments was timed and to the pair was given a movement to accompany it as they continued to dance about the floor.
A final note was played by the music as Kael spun his parter in close wrapping his arms around her before dipping her down head close to the floor. If on que a sort of applause rose up from the show that they had put on prompting a tad smirk from him as he looked around before looking down at Marie. He had as was the usual not even broken out in a sweat as he picked her up slowly bringing her back fully erect onto her feet. "Well then that was rather exhilarating wouldn't you agree" he chuckled giving a small wave to the audience they had accumulated.

Jackie turned to face the new voice that had penetrated her little world once again, a dark scowl crossing her face as she eyed the new arrival. Apparently people where determined to invade her personal space tonight. Crossing her arms the brown haired girl shuffled away from him slightly, her mouth pressed in a thin, tight line as she ignored the hand he had offered to her.
One man had already rattled her cage, she wasn’t about to let another corner her in to another attempt at communication.....not mater how rude she was actually starting to feel, the man had technicaly pulled her away from the creepy hall lurker......"I don't dance....a glass of water would be good.....thank you" the sentance came out fragmented and almost embarissed.
surly that was all she would need to say as a thank you?.....Huffing Jackie focused on the ever grown crowed around the dance floor, her face still a brilliant shade of red from valens last comment.(( oya~ oya~ -pats his head- i'm not a violent human....much..
p.s also I am in a different time zone to you guys so I wont be on for to much longer ^^; sorry))

Her reaction was expected. Nicholas counted himself lucky she had at least agreed to a glass of water. "My pleasure." He stated gladly. Nick bowed his head and gestured her towards the side of the room where the food and drinks were placed. He made his way directly over to the drinks where he picked up two glasses of water, then withdrew to the location that Jackie had settled to stand in. He offered her one of the glasses.
"You must be quite distressed. It is obviously not my duty, but I apologize for not arriving earlier." Nicholas spoke softly. He did not want to go into too much of it, it was time to concentrate on something, anything, but that.
"So, are you here on your own, as a friend to Mr Wayan maybe?" Of course he knew of her connection but how awkward would it be for him to start talking of it now, just out of the blue.
((It's just about midnight for me. GMT+0 time zone. I have to wake up early tomorrow. I should not stay up much further than this.))

((It's Ok. It's quarter to seven p.m. for me so I understand.))
Valen stepped back in the corridor with the end of his conversation with the other Consort, his attention turned back to his initial interest of exploring the manor. He was curious as to where Nicholas had appeared from at the opposite end of the hallway, and it paid to be aware of one's surroundings. Besides that, he was sure that the Wayan Estate's staff would have no trouble with him seeking out a bathroom on his own initiative, and if worst came to worst, merely being found in a pool room could hardly be misconstrued as espionage. The Immortui disappeared down the hall without a sound, his thoughts slowly forming away from spying to a far more beneficial line of thought; finding the transportation for Sharpe's clan in the best interest of keeping tabs on their servants.
((Dear god Kitty Vampires. I can hear the roar of a 1000 strong fangirl army charging into this thread...Save us Reborn! Save us Dino!))

(( o.o oya~ i don't know...do they purr~?)) Jackie inclined her head in a thank you gesture and took the water from him, gladly taking a long sip, apparently blushing for an extended period of time made you extreamly thirsty.
maybe she should actually thank him? after all he did help her out without knowing (apparently) who she was.
Her thankfulness vanishing the moment this man had started asking questions. Agitation flitted across Jackie's face as she tensed glared up at yet another substantualy taller male.
Clentching her hands tighter around the glass Jackie narrowed her glare on the crowed, as un-ladylike and rude as she was to the previous man, this one had done something to help her.
"I'm here with my mum and dad and that snotty self entitled git is nothing to do with me!"((hibari-san!! -runs off with cake and zer-
also we can't leave valen out o3o otherwise you have nothing to do...ahh someone think of a plot device quickly!))

Marie did what she could to keep up with her much more graceful partner. She honestly was starting to think she was simply clumsy and disjointed in comparison to Kael. And yet, before she knew it, the other dancers had cleared out and watched the two of them in awe. With Kael's expert lead, the two of them spun and twirled in magnificent grace. In her mind she could picture it as is she were hovering above. She could see a swirl of emerald and onyx, surrounded by gold speckled marble and jewel toned garments. There was something almost...fairy tale like about the image. And yet she ignored the shadowed corners where monsters may lurk.
In the final turn, and dip close to the ground, Marie's mind returned back to her body. In those last few moments, moving by feeling rather then thought, her world bathed in applause where music once was, she finally felt equal in skill to her dance partner, if only for a moment. Rising back up straight, Marie looked out at the crowd that formed around them with a small smile and flushed cheeks. She bowed her head to them playfully, with a soft giggle before stepping off the dance floor, Kael in tow. "Thank you for the dance. I didn't imagine you were as talented at dancing as you were in your art." She told him. Marie finally let go of his hand and glanced over to a side doorway for just a moment. "Do you know if there is someplace more quiet in this mansion? A study...or a garden perhaps. I had a vision of a painting and I want to sketch it out while I still have in it my head." Marie asked him, not being too familiar with the Wayan estate.

Being pulled behind Marie the vampire was delighted at how easily she was enjoying her time with him. It wouldn't be to hard to get her as a host at this rate simply a few more pushes here and there. "There are several things besides simply art that I am rather apt at" he chuckled a bit taking his hand back as she let it go. A thought of where sable may have been located crept into his mind but he simply brushed it to the side she was a grown woman and could with her skills easily take care of herself.
"Hmm I could honestly not tell you if there is or not" he said shaking his head a bit letting his gaze stare in the same direction of Marie. "I would imagine so tho a mansion as vast as this one is to have a few places where one could clear there heads." Shifting himself again a few people came by patting him on the back which made hand twitch slightly. The human's being so friendly was such a humoring thing as with a flick of his wrist he could kill any of them or set them forever into his art. "If you would like I can follow you and see if we can find a hide away as your searching for" he told her his royal elegance again returning to him.

Nicholas snorted in amusement and lifted a hand up to his mouth. He could not help it. Nick had to put his glass down on the nearest counter as he began chuckling, which he in the end could not cover even with his hand.
When he managed to relax, he smiled happily at Jacqueline and regained his composure. "I'm sorry, it's just... Well I suppose Mr Wayan is a bit of that isn't he." He said in agreement with a last, small chuckle. "Your honesty is refreshing. All these people here..." He took a glance around at all the people before looking back at Jackie. "They put on brave faces and make an all goody-goody appearance in some attempt to grasp at others' fame and power. Even the dead can't possibly be so stiff."
He sighed and picked back up the second glass of water but did not yet drink from it. "I guess it's just business, but it's tiring to entertain such antics for long." He thought out loud.
"As you may have heard there, I'm Nicholas. Personally I'm here on behalf of CEAWA, and I'm here to see if that... Git, is willing to donate some money to some of the local schools we sponsor." He explained his own presence. Nick did not expect her to know about the clan run organization, but it was the least important part of that statement.
"I hope you don't mind if I just take a break from all the party goers and hide here with the one apparently sensible person." That was of course beside dear Anastasie. Nick wondered where she was, he would have loved to introduce the human to her. She would appreciate honest name calling of the party host even more than he did.
((As for Valen, he has his own spy plot which can include Wayan more than anyone else. A secret fight between Batman and vampire outside while the party goes on inside? Also Marie just mentioned looking for a more private space in the manor and they could run into Valen. Nick and Jackie could only go after Valen scooby-doo style, which is kinda out of their character xD I really want Emni to be able to get in, I hope she can participate soon))
