"Alright then", Kyla nodded simply. She felt a slight headache, feeling like she sold herself somehow but then in a moment, the sudden memory of lots and lots of drinks cleared that all away. She always had a weakness for alcohol and cigarettes. She just didn't think it was enough for her to work under someone else just for them.

Lady Bugg had the two guys brought on the stage and said "you two look like the type that wanna dance. Why don't you guys show us your moves?". Lady Bugg then winked at the DJ who then switched the song to a well known club dance song.

Xiao folded the paper up and tucked it into a pocket of his robes. "Excellent. Good day to you."

Turning on his heel, Xiao walked out of the room. Within thirty seconds the smooth hum of his car's engine starting was clearly audible, though it quickly faded as his driver pulled out of the driveway and down the road towards the airport.

Ren was confused for a second and looked at Lucian and then at the many beautiful girls around the room that were clapping for them to dance. He sighed and steadied his glasses before getting into groove and dancing to the club beat with much swagger (or what he thought was swagger).

Lady Bugg giggled as she watched Ren and Lucian dance. "Come on boys. Shake that. Show us all you got" she said into the microphone.

Ren let loose another button on his dress shirt and raised his collar, moving to the music and running his hand through his hair. 'I'm so doing better than Lucian' was probably all he thought of the entire time.

Elle had looked over at Haven as he had left with the female on his arm. As he walked by Elle, he lifted the keys and mouthed the word 'sorry' as he walked away. "It's cool" Elle smiled and  muttered under her breath as she had faced the bar and sipped on her drink, finishing it. After about two, Elle was far from drunk, but she was ever so slightly tipsy. As soon as a catchy beat cut on, the female had looked up on the stage, catching two attractive males on stage dancing with Lady Bugg.

Elle had smirked as she had begun to dance her way straight to the front edge of the stage, becoming one of the many girls clapping and cheering as the blonde one loosened a button and raised his collar. The female was tipsy enough to contemplate joining them on stage, but wanted to kind of see where this was going first.

The alarm went off and a hand was quickly raised to meet it. Ren turned over to find the pretty young thing that was his prize from the previous night. She yawned dreamily, awakened by the loud buzzing of the alarm. Ren began, "Want to have break-"

"Oh shoot! I'm late for work!", the woman said, quickly gathering her clothes and quickly heading for the door after giving Ren a kiss. "Thanks. That was fun. Let's do this again sometime", she said and the door slammed shut, leaving Ren alone and a little puzzled before he shrugged it off and went to get himself a decent breakfast. He showered and got dressed. He fixed his cuffs and he was ready to work.

Back in the lab, it was mostly quiet until a sudden explosion was heard and a lifelike blue blob lugged along slowly out of the lab, opening the doors carefully but efficiently and was able to slink outside of the facility. The smoke seethed from one of the labs and a shadow emerged, coughing and dropping to its knees. "Hey wait. Come back here!", Carissa said, getting back up and coughing again as she attempted to clear the smoke from in front of her. "Stop that thing!", she had said to all those who were present but it was too late. It was able to get out. She ran to the telephone and quickly dialed.

"You what?! Carissa! What the-!! You idiot. A lifelike blob going around the city?", Kyla repeated after having picked up her telephone. She put her palm to her face and slid it down slowly. "Oh brother-!!", she said to herself and began mobilizing to catch that thing. It seems Carissa began experimenting with some unknown chemicals and organic materials to create what Kyla had wished for for a long time - a universal makeup that could make anyone look pretty... Or at least normal. Those with down syndrome and other diseases that affected physicality, especially.

Kyla's phone started ringing just after she hung up on Carissa, a man's voice coming through when it went to the answering machine. "Hello? Hello? The device has beeped itself to recording? I am Researcher Liu Kang, yes? Researcher to be transferred by honourable Chairman Xiao Beitang to research location in the American United States? I have reached my current location and will be at an arrival within ten to thirty minutes' duration. Would much enjoy a meeting with honourable President of PrimRose Cosmetics company."

Marcus walked through the lab doors. "Morning all." He said beaming with happiness. This wasn't at all like Marcus especially in the morning. "I think your blob just pasted me on the way in. It seemed pretty angry." He added before clearing his desk. Marcus was unusually chipper and happy go lucky to care about the lab accident that was currently taking place.

Ren arrived at work, looking up at Kyla who was hurrying down the stairs. He smiled, thinking she was happy to see him finally.
"Hang out at the store or something. Look for Ren, Lucian or someone. Anyone. I'm kinda busy right now", Kyla said, hanging up on the man and going down the stairs. "You! Take care of the shop. I'm going out. Don't ask" She didn't look back but Ren's expression seemed rather confused when she slammed shut the door to look for the lab experiment.

After quickly telling Kyla what was going on, Carissa scampered to hurry after the thing. "Blobby! Oh, Marcus! Catch Blobby, yes? You go too!", she said, shaking him before hurrying out the door to catch the lab experiment gone completely wrong.

The blob was already in the streets although it was a miracle that no one seemed to be looking down to notice the poor blobby fellah. It didn't attract attention apparently. It lumbered away from the laboratory, intent on just being out.

When Carissa noticed the blob, worried that people might see it, she cried out, "EEK! THERE'S A BOMB!" and everyone went into a frenzy as she tried to chase after the creature that was trying to get away, slow may it be.

"You don't have to lie to the poor people. I'm sure they would run just the same if they noticed the blob." He said catching up to Carissa. "What did you do anyway?" He added watching the blob moving in the distance.
