Poor sods. Looks like you've all been made a scape goat while Hayden escapes with his precious treasures.

ROUND 2
You need a total of +3 escape points to get out of the library. If you get -5 Avery catches you and you spend the next week cleaning the library. Which includes mending those vicious book bats.
For anyone who didn't complete the first round, you will need +5 escape points to get out.
( All IC purposes. Feel free to role-play your student carrying out their punishment in another role-play, but its not required. )
Roll 1 6 sided dice
1 - You slip on some scattered books, causing you to crash into another stack of books nearby. Luckily, Avery is temporarily stopped as he takes in the damage you caused. ( +1 escape )
2 - You choose to look behind you to see where the librarian is--its a mistake. One that causes you to crash into a bookshelf. ( -1 escape )
3 - Thanks to some quick thinking, you snatch an older, fragile book and throw it at the librarian. Avery, choosing the value of the book over your impending doom, catches it, allowing you to gain distance on him. ( +1 escape )
4 - All the commotion has disturbed the book bats. They're not pleased and swoop down on you from above. ( -1 escape )
5 - Thinking to stop Avery, you push one of the book shelves over to block his path, only to be buried in books yourself. ( -1 escape )
6 - Between all the chaos, you manage to find a clear path and keep running. ( +1 escape )
You have 24 hours to complete the final round (round 2) if your character does not complete this in time, they automatically get caught.
Make sure to tally up your positive and negative escape points at the bottom of your post.
Positive and negative escape points are separate! Its whichever tallies up first that determines what happens to your character.
