Deszeld was getting very good at opening doors.

Once again Deszeld loomed over Hollandaise.

She also gave Van a very stinky eye.

Barth tried the first door after the intimidating metallic door.

This one slipped open with relative ease.

He tried to pretend it was because, like the previous door, it had already been open. It was mostly the thorns though. Breaking and Entering had so far been all entering and no breaking. This was all fine by Barth.

He regretted the door choice immediately, though. The smell of earth and the swollen sight of....well.

"Oh," he said softly, and then trying to back out again through the already shut door, "Oh."

[ the bathroom ]

Sorrow followed her nose. The heavy smell of water and gunpowder were equally enticing, but in the end the promise of a good, dank dungeon won out.

She twisted her claw in past the slime, find it a whole lot easier this time.

Sorrow looked around suspiciously at the fluffy bath towels and bottles of potions. She nudged a mat with a clawed foot.

"Woah man, this place is like...I'm freaking out."

[ the pumpkin patch ]

Lou fluttered nervously, the Pumpkin Patch was filling up with creeple, and it was making her anxious. At least the weird wolfish boil, Van she thought she heard him say, was keeping his distance after declaring he wanted nothing to do with her. That was fine with Lou.

She turned her attention instead to the other ghoul. Lou loved plants, and had grown up in the woods, so she took an instant liking to the beautiful plant-ghoul. "Hi." She said, feeling shy. "I'm Lou."

She noticed a large figure come through the door behind Hollandaise and wondered if she should say something.

[The Semblance of Unity]

"D-deszeld, that was quick." She didn't know why she was surprised, really. The dragon ghoul was the bestworst habit of following her. Like a barnacle. A large, green, winged barnacle. Hollandaise edged away from Deszeld and Van. The proximity of those two were making her nervous. What if one of them just reached out and grabbed a flower from her hair? She decided to put a few pumpkins between them. Discreetly. Maybe. Deszeld and other things were nicer when admired from a safe distance.

"Hello Lou." Lou looked shy and while she wasn't big or green or the kind of beauty Hollandaise loved, she was cute. "I'm sorry that Van was rude; he seems... excitable." She turned to Van. His excessive energy was kind of invigorating... in the way that it made her want to melt into the shadows and sleep. "Van, it might be more gentlemanly of you to be... kinder." She smiled again, a small, polit thing, and laid her hand on a pumpkin.

And snatched it back up. Hollandaise frowned and her eyes began to glow, the creeple around her briefly forgotten. Nothing. Silence. No thoughts, no images from the plants although they gave every semblance of being real and growing. She didn't like this. Her fingertips tingled and she rubbed them together. "The pumpkins aren't... real." Her voice sounded small and distressed before she shook her head, glow fading from her eyes.

As energetic minipets popped out from the plastic food items, Quark looked on in saucer-eyed amazement. Good thing he hadn't tried to eat anything. Getting down from the barstool and sharing the Mr. Delicious brand treats opened a short-lived path through the sea of bouncy minipets. Approaching the cheery door, he commenced his latest lockpicking session with nothing to distract him but the contented munching sounds from the non-creeple occupants of the room.

As before, the lock clicked open under his efforts, granting him entrance to the backyard. To the porch for some quality lounging time, then.

At a loss as to what the thing he had been handed actually was, Bren approached the mysterious house cautiously, watching the upstairs window as another student fiddled around near its base, opened it, and slipped inside. A lockpick? Was this a lesson in delinquency?

With a shrug and a sigh, Brenley followed the ghoul up the side of the building, thankful that he hadn't worn his slippery boots today.

Curling his arm around a section of trellis, Bren turned the lockpick in his hands, looking for anything that might indicate what he needed to actually do with the thing. He tried just jabbing the thinner end into the lock at the base of the window, but that did absolutely nothing. The ghoul who had been here before him had been jiggling her arms around a bit, so he tried that as he stuck the pick in the lock again, thankful that no one else was around to see him do so, at least no one that he could see.

Surprisingly, the window actually popped open soon after. Was this house set on easy mode?

When the Hell Hound boil finally responded Camilla who already was frowning as she finally was certain Carlos and Keen had gone through the other door frowns deeper boy he was a downer... she sighs a bit then returns to cleaning her fur and pants there was a few moments of silence before she smiles softly and looks up at him

Even though Carlos was a bit of a lazy cat she was sure he'd be ok and she had a feeling Keen could handle herself as well this thought brightened the Dormouse ghouls mood enough to make her reply to the Hell Hound boil "It may be a skill on breaking and entering but I don't intend to steal anything now that I know how and who knows being able to unlock a door might help you out of a trap or something! Heh as to the danger factor some of the best adventures have at least alittle danger!" she says cheerfully before returning to her cleaning

She started pulling out a few things from her pocket and cleaning them before returning them underwater and all first was her Eyephone she was quite glad she'd spent the extra money to get it water proofed... next was a large hankie then about three of her emblems, the lockpick, a small knitted pouch which jangled with the unmistakable sounds of Silver Seeds and finally the empty plastic bag which held her lunch once she cleaned her pockets she returns everything but the plastic bag that she intended to throw away it may have seemed like alot of stuff for two pockets but her pockets were deep and might maybe have been enchanted with a storage spell

When everything was clean Camilla climbs out of the warm Jacuzzi then wraps up in a nice soft fluffy towl before waving cheerfully to the newcomers in the Bathroom curiously she looks at the door wondering when whatever was due to happen next would happen

Can't keep this Dormouse ghoul down!

 

[Smerdle]

He squinted around the dim room as he slipped inside, finally registering what was going on just as a thick glob of crimson glop settled on his shoulder and ran down the outside of his arm. He didn't have to look at it to see what it was, not now that he could see what was coating the rest of the room. And he had just gotten these clothes cleaned too.

It was difficult to choose an exit in this mess, let alone even come to the conclusion that that was what he was supposed to be doing in the first place, but he had to do something. Brenley knelt at the hatch and tried to find a way through.

His first attempt was severely hindered by all of the slime. Brenley shoved the lockpick home, but all the jiggling in the world would clearly do nothing without some way of cleaning the lock.

[ the munitions room ]

Brenley finally thought to use the de-slimer he'd picked up from the other side of the portal. With a disgusted grunt, he smeared some on his fingers, the lock, and the pick itself before trying again. Failing to consider whether or not it was a good idea, the reaper hurled himself through the hatch once it was open. In a surprisingly agile move fueled mostly by adrenaline, he hopped to his feet again as soon as he had landed on the floor of the munitions room, looking at the others who had gathered there with a bit of distrust, even the ones he recognized.

No matter where you've ended up—hot tub, gun room, amongst the pumpkins—the ground beneath you starts to shake. It opens up, spilling you through a momentary void, then spits you out into a large, transparent cylinder with a bouncy base. A soft fall of pink glitter rains from the sky, clinging to everything it touches, especially those who are wet or slimy.

Kenner stands grinning on the other side of an unlocked door in the side of the cylinder. When you emerge, he gives you a bit of a slow clap.

"Good job in there! Sorry about the glitter." He doesn't look sorry. "I guess it was set up to end here whether you did well or not. Gotta talk to the boys about that. Anyway! The portal home is right back there. You pass!"

No new students may start this class at this time, but if you posted at least an introduction, you may run through the rest of the rooms using the dice mechanics listed. You may still choose your final room on your own, just note that when your student enters it, they will fall right through into the glitter tube.

Post an exit if you'd like, otherwise it will be assumed that your student eventually went through the portal and ended up back on school grounds. They may keep the items they chose and the lockpicks, though they will likely find they don't pick locks nearly as well anywhere else as they did in the house. They may even punch Kenner if they'd like, but be warned, he has a taser.
