[ candidate kedriom ] - high reaches weyr - he/him
Well. That wasn't a great sign, now was it. Between the tinge of red in the Bronze's eyes and Heleste's urging, Kedriom knew he only had so many options here. He'd hesitated, but he'd been about to step forward when the No. 2 Pencil Egg split open to reveal not one, but two Golds. Twin queens. Shards, he should've bet on that.
Grimacing, he allowed himself to actually move away from Heleste, although he spared her a somewhat nervous glance over his shoulder on the way out--he had to stop and gather his composure before he went much farther, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. When he was ready, he drew a bit nearer to the Lisa Frank Bronze, keeping his face a mask of calm. Hopefully, this wouldn't end badly.

Finnisa - HR - She/Her She flinched when the gold's (and there were TWO golds! So many twins!) words hammered into her head. Attend the... bronze? But she was a lady, and... still, she felt pressed, like she should go forward, and took a hesitant step... and then another. It wasn't for any purpose, but she'd go all the same. Even a baby gold was hard to resist, and she still kept her head on a swivel, in case any of the myriad others demanded her attention more individually... but she began to edge towards the bronze all the same.
Zelaya - HR - She/Her/They/Them She'd been slowly retracting her hand, not wanting to risk her fingers with the blue growing more and more angry, warily watching as the green interposed herself in his way... and then her head snapped up, around, as an imperious voice drove a command into her mind. "Oh, dear..." A glance down at the frothing blue. Poor little thing... he'd just wanted attention. But as the saying went, the dragon decides, and the rider... or candidate, in this case, complies. She gave Eggplant blue a tender look, and a soft "This won't take long... bronzes aren't for... well, me..." before she edged around him to join those angling towards Lisa Frank bronze. She glanced back often enough to be sure she wasn't about to be mauled, but gave the little shining hatchling ahead a fond smile. She'd liked that egg, even if it wasn't to be. "It looks like you'll have your choice after all, hmm? The best for the best, was it?"

Elibrie - she/her
Oh. Oh. Not only was there a gold, there were two golds, and Elibrie was absolutely in awe of them - not desirous, because she knew better than to ever truly think she would be enough - but she gasped over them in genuine awe. Her gaze lingered on the one that tumbled to the Sands, but it was the other that commanded attention. Literally. Her bearing, and the power that broke across the Sands like a wave...it crossed beyond awe and into fear. And though the bronze's command had been for the boys to attend him, when his sister demanded it, that power hit every last one of them.
Confused, and fighting fear back and down where it belonged, she looked to her sister and started to step forward. She knew they weren't wanted for this, but that pull...
Relku - he/him
Oof. Though Relku was already where he'd been asked to be, he was no more exempt from the gold's command than anyone else, and had to fight the urge to step closer still. To get any closer than he already was would be dangerously presumptuous, regardless of any compulsion.

The Happy Ghost Green had made a fatal error here today. She'd blocked him from exacting his very justified revenge, and the Eggplant Blue's rage was practically palpable as a result, rolling over the Candidates nearby in waves. The injustice of it! The indignity! Did she not think that he was deserving of his pound of flesh, particularly when it had been laid out before him so cleanly? No, he couldn't have that.
I told you to MOVE. He didn't roar, at least not vocally--he was too busy clamping his teeth around as much of his sister's shoulder as he could manage, but the tone of his mindvoice made up the difference. Do you not understand when you're being spoken to? I gave you plenty of time to stay out of this, and yet here we are anyway! The Blue did what he could to try and bear the Happy Ghost Green to the ground, seemingly more intent on just getting her out of the way--he wasn't exactly trying to hold back in the process, though. She had incurred his wrath, and he had every intention of making sure that it would be felt.
And Lojze was next on his list.

Though there were mollifying words among the Candidates' thoughts, one in particular had mortally offended the Lisa Frank bronze. Nor would Juhvek be surprised in any way that his thoughts had provoked the beast. As though his actions had not been insulting enough up until now, he dared to suggest that the bronze did not deserve the honor of his company? And further, that it was only Lisa Frank's sister's will that brought him toward him?
No. He would not stand for that.
Without any warning whatsoever, the Lisa Frank bronze lunged forward and grabbed the Candidate in his maw. He shook him like a ragdoll, displaying the strength that only a bronze or gold could show at such a young age. He was not going to treat this young man with kid gloves, not when he was so uncouth, so unworthy. With an audible crack, he tossed Juhvek from his vicinity. Go... if you still can. You have made your opinions quite clear. If, indeed, the boy could still hear him.
Jaws dripping with blood, the bronze shook his head to clean himself of the offensive fluid. As for the rest of you... I did not say you could leave.
Did they dare to remain?
demon_pachabel He's not playing nice, so absolutely up to death. Juhvek has made a mortal enemy... possibly fatally so. Leaving that up to you. Please note that if they are not fatal, the wounds are quite severe.

Suyua - She/Her
At first it had seemed like such an amazing thing, being called over by another candidate to stand on the sands near them, to maybe... no she wouldn't likely make friends on the sands. There was too much chaos that happened almost the second she walked over. Too much that happened right in front of her eyes even!
Suyua had put her arms up when that brown had come and sliced into the male candidate near her, hopping backwards just a bit, but it seemed that was superficial at least. The dragon hadn't been after him... or at least not that one?
No sooner had the little eggplant blue shown up to ask for attention, to gently nudge her, then anger and ichor explode again. So this was a hatching then. The teen straightened ever so slightly and her dark eyes watched, narrowed a little at the man who'd spoken. The poor green. There were so many dragons on the sands now, twins falling out of eggs everywhere, she should have been having nothing but excited feelings, joy. But instead she was on edge, her thoughts carefully blank as her instincts took over instead.
"You're a very strong blue aren't you? Everyone should be paying attention to you." Oh how Suyua had wanted to reach out and return that nudge she'd received with affection and so she let it radiate from her towards the Eggplant Blue. Her desire to return the gentleness she'd been shown, but also her respect not to reach out and see how soft his pretty hide was.

Oh, Faranth hold him! Red and White Toadstool blue could have swooned into the Sands. His hearts practically fluttered as his bronze brother brushed against him just ever-so slightly, and as if that weren't enough, Mother booped him! Oh, be still his hearts. The hatchling stuttered a step, and had to sit for awhile to compose himself. If...Mother didn't mind, that was? He would move along, if she would rather, but things were once again looking...unseemly further out on the Sands. A green sister defying a blue brother, Candidates defying a bronze, and his golden sisters had now hatched!
No, he daren't get in the way of any of it, and if permitted, would primly move closer to Anakumath, well out of the way of any of his metallic siblings. He would wait until they were all quite finished with their business, as was only proper. He did not expect protection from his beloved, esteemed dam, but only wanted to make sure to give his naturally superior brother and sisters the space and spotlight they so deserved.
