Ichi started walking in the general direction of their destination. He was eager to see the source of the mission and he was also getting tired of standing around doing nothing. It was too boring.

"Summoning Jutsu" Kohane said putting her hand on the ground as she was engulfed in smoke. Sitting in the center of the circle was a slug twice the size of a banana slug. "You called me lady Kohane" the slug said looking up at her. "Yes I need you to split your body in two so you can transfer my chakra if needed" Kohane said seeming to ignore both Kikou and Tayu for a moment as the slug gave a nod doing as it was told. Picking it up Kohane walked over towards the two. "Here" she said holding her hand out. "Put one of these on your shoulder she's smart and can do the rest from there" Kohane said simply staring at them. She knew with this even in a ninjutsu fight she was no longer useless.

Kikou looked at what Kohane did "Kohane you just Summoned!" he looked at the slug worried it will slime up his cloths "what is she going to do?" he asked as he put the slug on his shoulder

Kinuyama slowly gained his balance and began walking. They had wasted enough time with names and pleasentries.

Tayu also stared at the slug Kohane held out to her, but it was less surprise than pride for her friend. "So while one of us became a chunin another became a sanin. Maybe I should defer to you, Lady Kohane," she smiled. She took the slug from Kohane's hand but didn't put it on her shoulder just yet. "I will not eat it, Tayu," Kita said softly, "No matter how tasty that slug may look." Tayu chuckled at the bird and placed the slug on her other shoulder. "I think Kikou posed a very good question, though. What purpose will these slugs serve?"

"They allow me to transfer my chakra to whoever the slugs are currently resting on the same way I do when I use my healing jutsu" Kohane said looking to each of them. "They also will pass on information between the two of you if we get separated" Kohane told them focused less on Tayu's comment then on the mission of getting back to the leaf. "Don't worry about her resting on your shoulder she won't be for very long" Kohane said as the slug after being put on there shoulders made it's way hiding inside there clothing.

Zane added his own fire to the raging inferno that surrounded Ayame. He was keeping his eye trained on the Shadow Ninja when suddenly he noticed a massive spike in chakra.
Ayame smirked in amusement. Well done indeed. Suddenly Ayame shot out of the fire, his metal wings gleaming dully. "I have to admit, you three are something else, especially you New Acquaintance. Your growth is going to be the most amusing. Well that's all for today kiddies, till next time, here's a present." Ayame said, throwing down a scroll with powerful Thunder Type jutsu in it. He didn't actually intend to take the scroll, he had merely decided to test Nowe and his friends, leaving them a parting gift for impressing him. Without another word Ayame sped off.
"Well that was weird." Zane said as he went to go pick up the new scroll. He slid his headband down over his eye and then sat down to check the severity of his wounds.

"Do as you wish" Kaicho said as he walked off. He headed directly to where he had said he was going the ramen shop stopping as he got there. Sitting down Kaicho looked around the area some looked at him but said nothing while others went about there day. As he sat there tho a single shadow fell over the area as a large bird like creature flew over the village. "One bowl please" Kaicho said as the bird seemed to simply circle the village. Upon a close inspection of it one would find it was nothing more then a chakra controlled piece of earth.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri blinked in surprise as Ayame suddenly left. She left the fire tornado die down to nothing. Checking her pouch, she found she still had the scroll. "That was.....weird." She muttered, then glanced up at Zane. Seeing the scroll, she looked curious. "What'cha got Zane?" She called, closing up her pouch.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Nowe watched Ayame leave and sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "I really hate shadow ninja..." He said, curious as to what the scroll was. "We can see what's inside that scroll later...right now we need to get back to the leaf." He said to them. He and Kiri didn't really have injuries, as Zane kept pushing them out of harms way.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri, though curious too, sighed. "I suppose Nowe's right for once." She said with a grin. "Let's examine that later. We'd better get this scroll back to Konoha before something else happens. We just seem to attract trouble." She held out a hand to help Zane up. "You good to go or you need what little healing abilities I can muster?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Lemme check." Zane said and examined his wound from the metal spike. It had torn a large chunk of flesh out of his leg and the sight left Zane pale in the face. I lost an eye and yet seeing a large chunk of leg taken out of me scares the crap out of me. Zane thought with a sigh and looked up at Kiri. "I'm gonna need a patch job here." Zane said with a sigh.
