False twisted My health is well enough that I haven't needed to cut back on my sweets consumption. Additionally, I can only eat so much sweets before I get tired of it anyway, so I guess that's a bit of a failsafe?

Gi ussta, True eek My parents always made sure they knew where I was as a child and that I behaved. For a long time I had assumed that's just what all parents did which made me wonder how anyone could possibly lose their children while out in public.

True! A child can disappear in the blink of an eye, no matter how vigilant the parent. Of course, a good parent:child ratio makes a huge difference. I was once at the beach with my 3 kids and my sister's 3 kid and told them all to stay within eyesight. I took roll of their locations continuously. Seriously checked each child several times a minute, and still one of my daughters disappeared. It was horrible not knowing if she was north or south, in the water or back on the street. Found her safely digging sand behind a palm tree and cried my eyes out with relief.
