Tayu did the same. For a little while, the only sounds from their table were those of chewing, and it started to feel a bit awkward to Tayu, but she didn't know what to say to break the silence that wouldn't end up with her putting her foot in her mouth, metaphorically speaking.

( Alright, time to timeskip. Sorry you two x.x others are waiting. )
Nowe woke up to his shoulder throbbing. He tried to ignore it, to simply go back to sleep, but the pain increased further and further. He sat up, grabbing it in pain and trying not to make any noise. The way this family was, he'd be lectured about taking care of himself all day. He got up and quickly made his way to the bathroom, locking the door behind him. He pulled off his shirt and examined his shoulder Little black veins had started to stretch out from his cursemark, painfully etching into his skin. ..that can't be good.

Out on the training grounds Kohane stood there blue chakra covering her hands making what looked to be a blade shape tipping just above her middle finger. Rushing forwards towards a log the young sannin vanished for a moment just infront of it appearing within a split second behind it. It took only a moment for the damage from the attack to show as the wood was sliced at what on the human body would be key arteries and nerve clusters. Taking in a deep breath the chakra faded from Kohane's hands as she looked back at the wood. She had been up since earlier that morning practicing her attacking and honing them so there would be no mistake she was a sannin. "Still not enough" she muttered with a small shake of her head.

Kin rapped lightly on her daughter's bedroom door. "Tayu," she called gently, "Breakfast." The jonin wanted to know why Tayu had gone straight to bed after coming home from her date with Kikou, but she wouldn't push her if Tayu didn't want to talk about it.
Tayu groaned quietly, roused from her sleep by Kin's voice. She'd been dreaming. About what, she couldn't remember, but she was glad of the interruption. It hadn't been a good dream. She walked down the hall to the kitchen and sat at the low table, accepting a bowl of rice from her mother. "Thanks, Mom," she said, and started eating silently. She hoped maybe Kikou would stop by but thought it a bit too much to wish for after the awkward ending to the night before.

Kikou walked to Tayu's house he wanted to make up the disappointing end to his date he also wanted to know if Kin had any mission info
