Yuushirou approached the dojo which was partially attached to the academy he had just graduated from. Memories ran through his mind of the times he had as an academy student. He felt a slight sense of maturity in himself as he compared his personality back then to his personality now. This made him confident in whatever actions he may take from that moment on. He slowly made his way to the entrance of the dojo, listening to the sounds of his fellow nin training inside. He slid the front door open and stepped in, being greeted by a battle between two elders. He made his way over to the scrolls of the dojo while staying out of the way of anyone who was training. The small library this dojo held was off to the side, separated by a wall and sliding door. He slid the door open, stepped into the scroll room and closed it behind him. It appeared as though he was the only one in the room which was good since he would be able to read and study in peace.
He walked over to the back wall and browsed through the inventory of Taijutsu scrolls. He figured he would work on his physical form before anything else. He pulled out a random scroll from its slot on the wall and opened it up. Sazanami.... he thought to himself as he quickly reviewed the taijutsu style. He imagined himself using the style and it seemed pretty much perfect for the type of shinobi he was going to be. He looked at the simplest techniques of the style and quickly memorized them.

He moved on to what seemed to be the second stage of the style. These moves were slightly more complex than the last ones so he figured he would practice them once before moving on. He reviewed two techniques that seemed to coincide with each other. He reviewed them and placed the scroll on the ground next to him. He then moved to the center of the room to practice the techniques. When he stood in the middle of the room, he slid his feet apart so that they were about one shoulder’s width apart. His toes pointed straight forward and his back was completely straight. He closed his eyes and brought his hands up to his sides. They were open and flat with the palms facing up but Yuushirou slowly turned them into fists in order to practice the next technique.

Yuushirou exhaled and closed his eyes for a second to concentrate. He slowly started to reopen them but before they could open fully, he shot is right fist forward while making a quick 'Tss' sound like he was trained to do when fighting. Although his eyes weren't fully open, he can see what seemed like a disturbance in the air in front of his fist. It only lasted a fraction of a second and Yuushi even questioned if it had really happened at all. So to see if he was just seeing things, he went back to his starting position and punched again but instead with his left hand and sure enough the disturbance appeared again. He grinned behind his coat and slowly transitioned from his Horse Stance to standing regularly.

Yuushirou made his way back over to the scroll that he set on the ground. He picked it up and examined it one more time. The techniques from that point on looked like they would be easier to learn with a training partner but right now he had none. He then looked to his left to see a small table with ink and a brush and next to it was a bin filled with what looked like blank scrolls. Yuushi walked over and sat down at the table, placing the scroll down in front of him. He then grabbed an empty scroll from the bin and began copying the contents of the scroll onto the blank one. This was just so he could have a copy for himself so that when the time came, he could learn the rest of the style.

After a long while of writing, Yuushirou had finally copied the rest of the skills he needed to learn. As he placed the brush down next to the scroll, he stood up. He picked up the original scroll and tightly rolled it back to its original cylindrical shape. He turned and walked to the back wall, placing it back into the cupboard that he had taken it from. He then turned back to the table and paced over. As he did so, he started to daydream about him mastering the Kazanami style and using it with the 10 legendary puppets his father had always told him stories about.
As a child, Yuushirou's father had told tales of 10 legendary puppets that had once annihilated the Red Demon Sasori and his army of 100 puppets. It was said that the puppets were destroyed in battle but were recovered and repaired by a puppet craftsman. Of course as Yuushirou grew older, he believed less and less in the tale of these legendary puppets but some part of him still does believe they are real and that one day he will wield all ten.
Yuushirou suddenly snapped back into reality to notice the scroll sitting on the table in front of him. He unzipped his coat, gently grabbed the paper scroll and rolled it up, placing it inside a pocket located on the inside of his coat, on the left hand side. Now, to the academy. he thought to himself as he turned to the door, zipped his jacket back up and made his way back into the dojo area.
As he slid the door open, he looked around at the Kumo nin still training. This made him wonder what all their aspirations were....what were they striving for? Was it something similar to his goal? The thoughts ran through his head once and he quickly shook them off, for now at least. He stepped out and slid the door close behind him. He made his way, to the other side of the dojo where the door leading to the academy stood. As he made his way past the others, he glanced over at each individual, just to get a closer view of everyone. Maybe he could make some friends in the future, but not now. He had a goal that he needed to accomplish.
As he approached the door to the academy, he stopped. He was anxious to start his journey as a Shinobi. He knew his life was about to change drastically and it kind of scared him for a second but he knew he would conquer anything that was put in front of him and remembering that gave him a great boost in confidence as he opened the door to the academy and stepped inside, closing the door behind him.
Once inside he made his way down that long, wide hallway. He was passing classrooms on his left and right but he was not here for a class, he was here for the library. After passing multiple classrooms, he arrived at two double doors that he quickly pushed open to reveal shelves upon shelves of scrolls. There were different sections for different types of jutsu and within those sections, different styles and techniques. Let's see here....Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Eisijutsu... he thought to himself as he walked past each aisle until finally- ah, Kugutsu. He turned down the aisle which seemed to be the smallest of the different sections. This most likely meant that Kugutsu wasn't very popular here. Yuushirou was fine with that however. He looked to his left to find multiple copies of the same scroll. The label of the cupboard read "Techniques: The Basics". He pulled one out of the cupboard and slowly opened it up he quickly read through the two simple techniques and memorized how to use them.

That wasn't too bad he thought to himself as he rolled the scroll back up and placed it back in its original position. He then moved on to the next cubby that read "Techniques: Advanced". This looked as though it would be more of a challenge. He quickly took a scroll and opened it up, reading through the rest of the techniques. They were indeed more complicated so he rolled the scroll up and walked to the front desk with it. "I'd like to sign this scroll out." He said to the shinobi sitting at the front desk. "Name" The nin said and Yuushirou responded with his full name. The shinobi signaled that he could leave by raising his hand at Yuushi and so he turned to the double door and exited out back into the hall. But instead of exiting from where he entered, he turned and exited the building through a door to his immediate right.
He walked out on the the rocky road, not knowing what to do next. He felt overwhelmed in a way. There were so many options, so many things to do and he felt as though he had so little time to do it all. But after taking a deep breath, he cleared his head and thought about what he was going to do. Alright, first things first, I need some Ryo. he thought to himself as he looked up toward the Kage's mansion. It seemed as though his return would be coming sooner than expected. A cloud slowly passed overhead, blocking out the sun and bringing a cool breeze with it. Yuushi slowly made his way in the direction of the Kage's mansion, ready to start his new life.
