*Comes home late from work again. sweatdrop Pulls out his key and slips in through the backdoor to Psyzapp's chambers. As soon as he closes and locks the door behind him, he smells ... Meatloaf! ... Sprints down the stairs and leaves his coat and hat on the coat rack, then quickly heads towards the kitchen to find it clean and spotless. On the counter he spies a chocolate cake sitting on a covered pedestal plate and his mouth starts to salivate. He opens the fridge and finds a plate made up just for him ... meatloaf, broccoli and squash. He pops the plate into the microwave, then sets a place setting for himself. He fills a glass with ice water, grabs his dinner out of the microwave, then sits down on a stool at the kitchen island and digs in. The first bite of the meatloaf proves to him that this is no ordinary meatloaf, so he slows down and savors every single bite of his dinner* biggrin

*startles slightly* Oh hi! I didn't realize you were home. Yes, this dinner is fantastic! I have never had meatloaf such as this before! *he pulls her close and gives her a little hug from his stool*

*She smiles.* I'm glad you like it. I sometimes go in spurts when I decide to cook and end up with lots of leftovers. *she gets down a plate, cuts him a piece of cake, gets a fork and puts it in front of him* I'm a little embarrassed…I don't really know what your favorites are so I've just been making what I feel like having. sweatdrop

That is quite alright, M'dear. I'm just not accustomed to having such fancy dinners as this and I am delighted to try new things ... especially that which you have made. This stomach is mighty pleased! We can just play it by ear here and you will soon know what my favorite dishes are ... and this meatloaf tops the list so far! *he finishes up his dinner, pushes the plate aside, then pulls the slice of cake towards him and takes a bite* And I do have a liking for chocolate as well ... is this a caramel frosting?

*replaces the glass dome over the rest of the cake* Yes…there is caramel in the frosting. That cake was a new recipe for me to try. I like to try new things too.
*she looks down at the counter.* Um…I just wanted to tell you how nice it's been having you here with me. I never realized before how huge this place really is for just one person.

*After taking another bite of cake, he sets down his fork, then reaches out to her and pulls her over onto his lap. His hand reaches up towards her face and pushes aside a strand of hair, then plays a little with the pearl earring dangling from her ear lobe* Yes, this place is quite large ... and I have enjoyed every minute of my stay here with you. I just hope that I am not wearing out my welcomed stay ... *his eyes search hers*

*she puts her arms around his neck and hugs him.* Of course not…how could you possibly wear out your welcomed say. I'm trying to pay you a compliment, William. I don't think I've ever felt this relaxed and comfortable around anyone and it's a very new experience for me. There are not many people who could stay under the same roof as me for any length of time and be okay with it.

I'm sorry. I'm just not accustomed to receiving compliments, and this is all a new experience for me as well. But it's not like we are spending every single minute of every single day with each other either. Oh, you think this is funny, huh? *wipes the frosting off his nose, then swipes the frosting onto her cheek* Now that's funny! *starts laughing, then leans in, kisses at the frosting on her cheek, then starts nibbling along her chin with frosting on his lips*
