Liddie made her way out onto the pitch, excited for the first game of the season. Regardless of the outcome, everyone was always happy to be up in the air for their first game, after practicing so hard. Of course, her position was far less stressful than others, since it sometimes took a very long time for anyone to actually make it to the goalposts. Still, she had high hopes that they'd get off to a good start.

Donella was clamping down on her nerves, as this was her first real game. Before this, she'd just been a reserve, and beaters didn't get knocked out that often. Now she'd have to prove that she deserved her spot on first string, which meant a strong opening for their first game of the season. Her shots had to count, and if she missed and hit herself, she'd die of mortification. The blonde girl nodded to her teammate and started her stretches.

Lucien arrived at the pitch, waving their new beater and keeper while at it. He wanted to be confident that Hufflepuff can win the game against Ravenclaws, but his realist side of him considered the fact that Driskol, Ravenclaw's seeker, has the tendency to always win the game. But being realistic didn't mean that he's going to be a pessimist about it, duh. It would still be nice if they win, though; Just because they're Hufflepuffs didn't mean they cannot be competitive.

spaceKiery made it out onto the Pitch with a grin, her broom over her shoulder. This was the first game of the year and she was determined for it to be a good one. She noticed that so far, she was the only one on her team to show, so she waved towards the Hufflepuff players that'd already gathered and went into her stretches, hovering nearby her yearmate Lucien. "Looking forward to the game, Lucien?" she asked, tone chipper. She didn't know the Hufflepuff boy very well... or at all, really. But they were in the same year and played the same position, so she didn't see why that couldn't change. She was always eager to make more friends, after all, and what better thing to bond over than Quidditch? Especially now that she actually remembered how to say the name.

She grinned over at her teammates, then quickly tied her ponytail into a braid instead. The girl was excited for this season, and she knew her teammates would make it a wonderful year.

.¸¸.•´´¯`•Laili did an odd combination of a skip and a run out onto the field due to all of her excitement. Being able to finally, finnalllyy, playing first string was both amazing and terrifying and she just really really hoped to not get knocked out her first game. It was also weird playing her first game against her brother, but sorta not really since he was a seeker and she was a chaser so really she wouldn't be? It was weird and she probably shouldn't focus on it too much since she needed to stretch! She grinned at her teammates who were already there before hastily beginning her stretches trying hard not to do them too quickly and risk pulling something up in the air.

Candace was oddly nervous about her first game as captain of the team. The team was her responsibility and she was hoping they'd do well for the first game. If they didn't do well it would be because she wasn't a good enough. That's how she saw it anyways. Walking onto the field she joined her team and the eagles. Ravenclaw was pretty low on people willing to play Quidditch so they were normally an easy opposition. However, she knew not to underestimate Dris.

"Let's do our best today guys." Candace told the badgers as upbeat as she could manage with nervous. All she had to do was focus on the game and see how it all played out. After all they'd been doing well in practice. There wasn't much else they could do but give it their best shot. Which was exactly what Candace was going to do.
